    what are the maxperts and how do you spend them?

    Office Max website would not let me register for their card. I tried 3 times and it kept saying an error occured….not a great deal if you can't get it.

      Heather – Where did you get hung up. I just tested it by creating an account that I'll delete and it worked fine for me??

          Jenny – Thanks for letting me know. The weirdest part is that I have tested it and it works fine on my computer so it's hard to troubleshoot. I am going to switch the link to aim to a different page and hopefully that helps. **Update: I switched the links to go to the MaxPerks promotional page. I hope it works fine from there

      I had the same problem, it won't let me either. I filled out the form completely 2x with my home address as the mailing and then 2x leaving that off. Didn't work either way.

    Do you know if one can purchase this paper with previously earned maxperks certificates and still earn new ones, basically rolling the certificates? Also do you know the limit for how many can be purchased and still earn the rewards on one maxperks account?

      Laurel – Yep, you sure can use MaxPerks rewards to buy more items that generate MaxPerks Rewards. I've done it myself.

    I also went looking for a free shipping promo code, but couldn't find one :(

      there is no promo code. When you get $50 in your cart shipping is free.

      Heather – What happened? I just tested it again with the link and it worked fine for me. I entered a dummy business record. Very weird.

    Yea, not sure what happened…I was only going to get the paper, but realized I had to spend more to get the free shipping, which didn't make sense. I then realized the other items were the same way…rewards equal to what you spend…so I bought 2 boxes of envelopes and a box of Sharpies….things that are always needed in my household.

    Thanks for introducing me to this. Sorry it got off on a rocky start. I am glad to have this in my arsenal of savings. I wish I was still a stay @ home mom so I had more time to scoop up all these deals!

    do you pay for the total upfront? I am confused. I put in my MaxPerks number but the total still showed up as $70.00 and was asking me to submit order. I just wanna make sure I am doing it write before I hit Submit! Thanks!!

      Resha – Yes, this is a rebate-type program where you front the money and get an OfficeMax store credit.

    I just signed up as a teacher. I homeschool my girls and this will be very helpful for supplies. I did notice that the price on the fellows boxes is listed at $12.99 online, not $6.99 though.

    Question about the rewards. If you have the teacher perks account and you spend >$75 on these items that already get rewards…do you get the additional $10 reward for each $75 too? Also, are there any promotional codes that could bring the upfront OOP down??

    Can you sign up as an individual or does it have to be a business/teacher account??

    I know the day after thanksgiving my mother and I purchased external hard drives and signed up for the perks as individuals. It might help to stop at a store and buy something small or ask them to sign you up there and then go ahead and go to the site.
