All You Twin Citians! Today on Twin Cities Live I mentioned deals for the four corners of town and am excited to share them with you here too.
Your turn: What other local deals do you know of?
North Metro Deal
Dollar Days at County Market. County Market grocery stores, like the one in Andover, are having Dollar Days tomorrow, March 17. Lots of the typical things we see in dollar sales are included, but a few awesome steals as well including Kemps Ice Cream Sandwiches (can you say spring fever?), select varieties of 64-ounce Old Orchard Juice, National Bagels, and Old Dutch Pretzels. Check out their weekly sales flyer and find a County Market near you.
South Metro Deal
Free Toys at Totally Kids. Yes, you heard me correctly when I said free toys. Sign up for Totally Kids email newsletter now through the end of April and you’ll receive a $10 gift card via email. Instead of ordering online, stop into their Bloomington showroom, and pick up any number of toys priced at $10 or less. Limit one $10 gift card per family. Gift card is good through the end of the 2010.
East Metro Deals
Free entrance to the Children’s Museum in St. Paul. Free admission to the Children’s Museum on the third Sunday of every month, courtesy of Target. This Sunday, March 21 is the third Sunday so take the whole family for free.
Free Solos Pizza. Click on “Free Pizza Giveaway” on Solos Pizza website to be emailed a coupon for a free individual Solos pizza. When you sign up, you’ll choose the date and time when you can redeem the certificate (March 25, March 30, or April 1). Although Solos Pizza is located in Eagan, Maple Grove, and Plymouth, this offer is good at the Eagan location only. Limit one certificate per email, two emails per household.
West Metro Deal
Buy one, get one free pizza. Pete’s Pizza in Maple Plain, just west of Wayzata, is hosting a St Patrick’s Day Special to benefit Maple Plain Community Food Shelf. Bring 4 non-perishable food items in to Pete’s Pizza and you’ll get a buy one, get one free medium (14”) one-topping pizza. Free pizza is valued at $13.25 and can be eaten in, carried out or delivered (standard delivery fees apply). No coupon necessary. The Pete’s Pizza in Delano is also participating.

I have been shopping at County Market for their dollar days and special ads. They have great deals and lots of ones that are not listed in the Dollar Days flier. So glad you turned your readers onto County Market!
Hope you have another meet and greet soon because those of us who didn’t win tickets are bummed! :(

Thanks as always for the deals Carrie! Also, I believe it is COUNTY Market not Country Market – LOL! My mother used to shop here when I was a kid before all the “big name” stores came into town and ran them out. I think they did double coupons back then and always had great deals.
Oops! Thanks, Sarah Beth. :)
I went to County Market today and bought about 20 items, spent about $44.00 and had a savings of $25.09!!! I’ve never been to Dollar Day before, but I’ll be watching your posts for the next one. Thanks for helping me save $$$$!
I went to Rainbow foods I was so excited I saved 41.02 on $75.00 worth of groceries. Thank you for all the tips and help.

I have been shopping at County Market’s Dollar Day for years. Best deal in town! Especially if you bring your coupons! They have one on a Wednesday, every quarter. It is a great time to stock up on meats and other items for the freezer. Also good for stocking dry goods such as cereal and children’s lunch items. They have lots of unadvertised specials in addition to the Dollar Days flyer. Remember to grab the weekly flyer for additional specials and discounts!
