Gibson Guitar has 700+ free music lessons on their website and a great free iPhone app. You’ll get streaming video for each one that teaches you techniques or to play a particular song. Lessons are available for varying skill levels and for instruments besides the guitar, including banjo, piano, drums, mandolin and bass.
Since we’re talking Gibson, check out this free Gibson iPhone app. It has a bunch of cool features including tuners, metronome, chord library and more. If only I had an ounce of musical ability, I might enjoy these freebies myself. But I have plenty of friends interested in learning to play the guitar, so this is for all of them.
