Update:Some readers are saying that you are required to purchase a drink and add an espresso shot. The advertisement doesn’t say that, unless “moose it” means “add an espresso shot to a drink” in Caribou-speak. Personally, I’d print the webpage advertisement and bring it along to show that there is no stated requirement for a purchase.
Caribou Coffee is giving away free espresso shots tomorrow and Monday morning (3/14 and 3/15/10), no coupon required. Since we have to spring ahead overnight tonight we lose an hour of sleep and the caffeine jolt should help make up for it.
Your turn: Did you remember to set your clocks ahead?

I also have noticed tea latte fusions are on sale on Mondays for $2. Yum!
Just a note that you do have to purchase a drink with this offer… :(
Cari – Thanks. You know, I wondered about that, but it doesn’t say anywhere on their advertisement that a purchase is required. Unless “moose it” means “purchase required” in Caribou-ese :)
At the bottom it states: “One free espresso shot added to your beverage valid only March 14, 2010 and March 15, 2010. No coupon necessary.”
“Moose It” is Caribou-ese for upgrading a drink by adding an extra espresso shot. It’s not the same thing as purchasing an espresso shot as a stand-alone drink, and is priced differently. If you don’t purchase a beverage, you have nothing to “moose”.
Think of it as if Domino’s was offering free extra cheese: you’d still need to buy a pizza to get it.
Janna – Thanks for informing me. I had no idea :)
You’re welcome. I am married to a big Caribou fan, so I speak the language :-)
Has anyone ever drank shots of espresso, alone, in a little cup? I’d much prefer it IN the drink and not handed out for free. lol!
