This week at CVS, you can utilize coupons and the Extra Care Bucks program to get a few things for free or cheap, including Cover Girl cosmetics (and possibly Revlon, too), more Huggies diapers, and ThermaCare heatwraps.
If you’re new to CVS, your first step is to learn the ins and outs of the Extra Care program and learn how to read this shopping list. If you are just getting started and have questions, please leave them in the comments so we can all help you learn how to spend less.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas, or we read about other deals across the blogosphere, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.

Is it my computer or isn’t the ThermaCare link working? : )
worked for me. the link brought me to the ThermaCare website. there was a ‘GO’ button on the top left of the page, scrolled down and found 2 coupons. :-)
There’s a deal for $10 ECB for Crest Whitestrips this week. It looks like the exact same deal as last week. I made myself a pretty sweet deal on those in my opinion last week. It should work again this week. The Crest 3D White Professional Effects Whitestrips were $31.99 last week (not a sale price or anything) and I used the $10 off coupon from the 3/21 Red Plum. With the $10 ECB and the coupon the total came to $11.99. I also happened to have a $5 off a $40 purchase coupon which I wouldn’t have been able to use if I hadn’t purchased such an expensive item, so it was actually $6.99 for me!
Revlon nail polish is $4.39. With the B1G1 deal and the two $2/1 coupons, they are $0.39 for both.
Erin – Thanks for the price points, I love getting some new colors when the season starts. They also make a really cute little hostess gift if you pick up some emery boards free or cheap elsewhere. Thanks!
I had a coupon on my receipt last week for $2 off $10 baby purchase – makes the Huggies deal even better!! Maybe some of you got that one as well…
I left CVS today and had one of those “Start the car!” moments. I purchased 2 bags of Huggies, 4 cartons of Tropicana juice and 2 Revlon nail polishes for $12.70 with $5 extra bucks off my next purchase. (I did use some Extra Bucks from last week as well.)
I got the $2 off baby coupon from the CVS scanner as well to make the Huggies deal better. I also found clearanced Right Guard (3-D Sport) deodorants for 82 cents a piece.
Tropicana deal is really great! There is also a $1.00 off coupon from a couple weeks back. I think we could use one of those to make it $1.00 per carton.
The CVS in Lakeville off of Dodd and Cedar has razors on clearance. Gillette Mac 3 (3 packs) for 94 cents each. We have coupons for $2 and $3 off of these. I got mine for free. There were also several different kinds (Venus Embrace) and cartridges on clearance, all 75% off.
Folders coffee for 1.97 as there hot buy on pack cover is a good price. I know there are coupons out there but not sure what date.
LOL at “Start the Car” moment!!! Funny!
I have a great hot tip! The CVS in Lakeville (they said it was only their location) has Bounty paper towels- 12 packs on clearance 75% off. They come out to $2.99 a 12 pack. Then, we have coupons for Bounty. the best one I could find was 50 cents off, but there might be better ones out there. Does anyone know of a better coupon that we might have?
The store manager said that they have 2-3 pallets full of these in the stock room, so “come back for more!” I bought 3 of them, but I think I will go back and get more for my daycare provider.
Oh sorry, it is the Lakeville location on Dodd Blvd and Cedar Ave.
I could not find the travel size sun block? Anyone else have luck?
same as Maria,no luck with the sunblock. The travel size that my CVS had was $7.99 if anyone did find it please post witch location, this is a very very good sunblock and the size makes it perfect for your purse/glovebox so I’m exited to find it.
I couldn’t find the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock (travel size). I looked by the other Neutrogena suncare products and the travel size items. Did anyone find it? Also, I used a BOGO coupon for the Oral-B Advantage Toothbrush – so OOP was $2.99 for 2 toothbrushes and got the $2 Extra Care Bucks for next trip.
thanks for the tip about bounty at lakeville! they also have a 90% clearance section with great buys!! this morning there was Claritin that normally sells for $32+ dollars on sale for $5 or less. We don’t have allergies but i’m guessing this would be a huge savings for someone who does.
Cheapest covergirl item was $5.99…
Check the clearance section at your CVS and also wander the store a little bit. I found a bunch of great deals (75-90% off) at the Brooklyn Park store. Combined with coupons, I spent very little, in fact I couldn’t use my $8 ECB because my total was $6. It made me laugh!
