Target is a great place to pick up freebies when you match coupons to their everyday low prices. This list includes:
— On-going deals, which are those that last longer than one week
— Items that are priced at or near rock bottom prices after coupons
— That we’ve spotted, heard about from readers or read about online.
Week-long deals that correspond with Target’s weekly sales flyer and on-going deals that are getting a first mention are listed in this Target Shopping List.
You may want to take Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy with you to the store in case your cashier needs to see it for themselves.

I got a great deal on Always pads today. They have Always and Tampax on sale for $6.99 and if you buy 2 you get a $5.00 gift card, combine it with a coupon from this last sundays paper for buy one pack get one free, you come out only spending $1 a pack.
Also I didn’t see anyone else post this, but Target has granola bars for $2 a box and if you buy 3 you get 1 free, turns out to be $1.50 a box. I didn’t have any extra coupons but am sure that you could find some.
Denise – You should be able to find these deals in the current Target shopping list here.
Which ad insert did you get the buy 1 get 1 coupon from? Is this from 5/2? I am having a hard time finding it
contary to what Carrie siad , that there is target coupons on the target website for “seventh generation”, I found none. And I sure haven’t found the the rebate either for these products. Can someome help me with this ? thanks
The rebate has reached its limit. http://www.seventhgeneration.com/rebate-limit-reached
Thanks, SarahBeth!
In CR Target today by the Pharmacy was an endcap with Dove Men’s body wash on clearance for $1.98. There was also a trial size bottle packaged with it. I had a few $1.00-$1.50 manufacture coupons (my “Target coupons had just expired, bummer) but it was still a great deal! There were at least 30 bottles (2 different varieties).
Question on the Always pads. Did you have to purchase two at $6.99 and then pick up two others of the smaller size (for the bogo) to get the $5.00 gift card? Thanks!
Has anyone tried doing the Tide deal at Target? I tried at Wal-mart today and they refused to do it for two reasons: 1) I wasn’t even paying a dollar at full price. 2) It says one coupon per purchase on them. I tried explaining that it didn’t specify that it excluded travel size, that the wording is ANY size, and also that when it says one coupon per purchase it doesn’t mean transaction it means per item (=purchase; i.e. can’t use the coupon twice over if purchasing 2 of the same thing), but after going to a supervisor and manager, they both refused to allow them to go through. I even told her regardless, Walmart is recupping their money from the manufacturer but nope…no avail. So I walked out of there frustrated and annoyed, with no Tide at all.
I use the tide Q on a travel size every time it comes out at Target with no issues. Some cashiers adjust it to $0.97 and some just hit enter to push it through for the full dollar. They all look to make sure it says “any” size on it though. I’ve sometimes used 3 or 4 at a time to no problems.
Thanks. I’ll try it there then!
I used the Tide coupon at the super walmart in my area and at first ran into the same problem you did. Because the register beeped and wouldn’t allow it, the cashier said it couldn’t be done. I smiled and said, “sure it can!” She called a manager over and the manager had no problem overriding the system (somehow adding the .03 cents to make the product $1 so that it could take the whole $1 off.) It was a little bit of a hassle, but they did it. When I used the same coupon at Target and geared up for the same battle, there wasn’t even an issue! I recommend Target for hassle-free coupon deals! Hope this helps!
I found some Sour Gummie Flinstone Vitamins on Clearance at the Vadnais Heights Target for $2.52, used a $1/1 coupon (not sure which insert, Carrie maybe you can help out). Can’t beat $1.52 for Flinstone Vitamins. There are still plenty there. It’s worth the shot to check it out!
Thanks.
There is a $1 coupon in th 3/21 SS
where is the snuggle sheets price in this weeks target ad? I see the downey price only.
The Target printable Band Aid coupon expired 4/11/10.
I see that your posting for the GE Energy Smart Light bulbs for $2.99, with coupons free has been removed. I am assuming that the reason for this was the difficulty in finding a coupon for $1/1 that would print. I found this out and I couldn’t give up on finding one available. I have started to be as “green” as possible and thought that a cost of free was to much to pass up on.
I found out that if you take a the Energy Star “pledge” you cand print off this very coupon. Here’s the link:

Shalaine – We actually have this deal posted in our weekly deals list, so it will get moved to the ongoing deals page next week. Thanks for the tip!

Hi,
Please send me some coupons, when you get them on glade products.
Thank you
Jeanette
I can’t locate the Dial NutriSkin coupon on Target’s site, does that mean it is out of prints?
Generally, that’s what it means. I’ll take it off the list.
Does anyone know which stores have the Rayovac batteries in the dollar section?
It seems to me that most stores don’t like consumers using coupons on the travel size items. I know the idea is that you get it free but are you really getting the best deal anyway? Isn’t the cost per ounce higher on the travel size items?
Susan, yes I think the same thing sometimes…is the better deal is the larger size?? Although, my daughter in college sure appreciates the travel size things and I usually send them back to school with her.
I have been thinking about this…In Minnesota we have to pay tax on PRE-coupon pricing. No biggie on food, since most is tax free, but with other products it can really add up. If I buy a single wash packet of Tide for $1.00, I pay 7.5 cents in tax even if I get it free with $1.00 q. So, if your “deal” threshold is to pay less than 7.5 cents per load, you aren’t getting a good deal. I recently paid around $18.00 plus 1.35 tax for a box of Kirkland brand powder detergent at Costco that will yield 360 HE loads (180 regular loads). That makes each load 5.4 cents each, and I won’t have to buy detergent for a year (savings on gas, coupons, time, hassle). I like the Kirkland brand just as much as Tide, so it works for me. Also, even if the cost came out the same per load as the “free” single packet Tide, I would rather spend my time doing other things than chasing around town looking for 360 little packages.
Kristen – My husband read your comment and said, “That’s how I think, too.” Everyone has his/her own ideas on what they’re willing to do. As for me, I just pick up the single packets of laundry detergent to use when I’m going out of town and am planning to do laundry at the hotel. It’s nice to have them on hand so I don’t have to pay for them at the hotel.
Laura, thanks for your comment! I do buy “free” trial sizes of products as well, mostly for travel purposes or to try something new. Also, makes great stocking stuffers for my still-in-college sisters who are finally beginning to appreciate getting free personal care products for gifts. :) As a sustainable “money saving” practice it doesn’t make sense to me to try to acquire all of one’s detergent or shampoo this way, the small sizes do offer other value that might make the oop tax cost worth it. this is why I love PYD, especially the comments…it isn’t ALL about how much we can get for “free” but how to best spend money for our own circumstances. :)
I was looking for the coupon for snuggle liquid fabric softner and could not find it. I googled red plum and it showed me a coupon site but no coupon for above mentioned. Wondering if this is the right site. Do you have a link for the red plum site? Thank you for your help.
Kandi – The redplum.com site has separate printable coupons from what you’d fine in the newspaper. The coupon listed above for Snuggle was found in a newspaper insert, not online, so you won’t be able to print it. Sorry!
How do i get the insert?
The inserts are the coupons in the Sunday newspaper. ;)
If you use the coupon for Nivea women’s body wash $4/1 from 5/2 Red Plum insert it’s almost free at Target. The shelf price is $3.99.
Also, use the Kleenex hand towels are a good deal for $.99. Stack $1 off Kleenex 60 ct. hand towels Target coupon with the $1/1 Kleenex Hand Towels coupon 5/2 Smartsource insert. There is also a printable coupon on the smartsource website.
Shouldn’t some of the things listed on the weekly shopping list actually be listed over here on the master list? For example the Kleenex hand towels I know aren’t on sale the $2.99 is the everyday price at Target.
Jean – The weekly shopping list just contains the new deals that we find out about, whether they’re on sale or an everyday price. When we create the new weekly lists, we move the deals from the old weekly list to the on-going deals list. So the Kleenex hand towels will be moved to the on-going deals list next week.
Thanks. I was confused!
I can’t get over how much work goes into this site. i just want to thank you guys for all you”ve been doing. This has made a big difference to our household! THANK YOU!
