Helpful hint: Walgreens is the one store where an advertised sale like “2 for $4” usually requires you to buy two products. The first one rings at full price and the second product will ring at a lesser price to bring the total to $4, using our example. If you ever question whether you need to buy two to receive a sale price, ask the cashier to scan one item for you. If it rings at full price, then you know you need to buy two products. If it rings at the sale price, then you don’t.

Here is a coupon for purex 3-1 sheets if you plan to use your BOGO coupon for the 3-1 sheets.

If anyone isn’t useing their $5.00 coupon from March All You magazine for Neutrogena I would love it. I haven’t started getting mine subscription yet…anxiously awaiting.
Thanks,
Dawn M
Hi – I was looking at the Schick mail in rebate. It seems to only specify Schick Quattro Titanium Razor OR Schick Quattro Titanium Trimmer for men on the rebate. I didn’t see any other rebate form in the 2/7 SS insert. What are your thoughts? I don’t really want to buy the razor unless I know for sure that the rebate will be accepted for women’s product.
I have the same question.
Amy, you’re right. It’s only good on the Quattro Titanium, so it won’t work for this deal.
Dentine gum is .20 ea after Walgreens coupon and $1 off coupon in today’s ad.
I have a bogo coupon for the Reach toothbrushes and a $1 off coupon. Can I stack that at Walgreens and get two free?
Also are the Trident Layers included in the gum sale for .69? I have .75 coupons. There is also a Dentyne coupon in todays paper $1 off 2
I can just about guarantee Trident Layers does isn’t on sale. It was on sale last week at 99 cents, and is a more expensive product than regular Trident.
Andrea – you should be able to use both. I did today!
For the Reach deal I forget which order you need to hand them in – do you give them the B1G1 first, then the Wags In-Ad Coupon, and then the $1 coupon?
Sarah Beth, I would do them in this order: B1G1, $1, in-ad. I always save my Wags coupons for last.
And! I’m so excited about the Nivea lip balm. Originally 3.99/ea, .50/ea after coupons is outstanding!
For the frappucino, do I need to have access to 2 computers and print 4 coupons to get the deal?
I believe you need to have access to 2 computers. I guess I didnt try printing beyond my 2 on my computer. I just hopped over to my hubby’s computer to get my other 2 coupons.
Yes, you definitely need 2 computers. There is a limit to this coupon of 2 per computer. I got 4 frapps for $1.20 (including tax) and when the cashier announced my total, she repeated it again like “what???” It was fun! :)
There is a coupon for Duracell batteris for 2.49 ea
In P&G 2/7 there are 1.00 coupons making them 1.49. I am not sure how good of a deal that is but works for me. Limit 3
Andrea
Last week the trident layers was .99 per pack. I am not sure if this wuld work as it shows a different kind. Bring your coupons with just in case. Good Luck
Thanks for the heads up on Dentyne
The WAGS in Maple Grove (off of co rd 30) had Purex laundry soap on a BOGO sale. I bought 2 and used the buy one, get one free coupon from the 2/21 Red Plum insert to get 2 for free today!
The one off 98th and Lyndale in Bloomington also has this sale for anyone on the south side.
Danielle, thanks for the tip on the BOG for Purex landry soap. I also was able to get that at my Walgreens in Blaine. Has anyone tried the Kleenex deal? I saw at my Walgreens where they were 2 for $2.19, but I didn’t see anything in the ad or on the shelves about the RR deal.
I was wondering the same thing about the Kleenex deal. I didn’t see anything in the ad and there wasn’t anything on the shelf saying it gave RRs. It was 2/2.19.
I had a manager come over and argued that if the regular price of Kleenex was $1.99, and the deal was bygo free, than I shouldn’t have to pay the 2.19… he agreed, and said that the 2/2.19 was a sign that corporate sent over and they didn’t think about the current deal when they put them up.
Hey Teresa –
Which Blaine wags? My mom is partial to Purex and I have two coupons I can give to her for this.
I did the Kleenex deal yesterday at the Wags in Maplewood off of Beam. Bought 6 and used 2 50cent/3 coupons. They were 2/$2.19 at that store. You end up paying $5.57 and get the $3RR back. So
i didn’t find an applicable coupon in my 10/4 SS, but according to a full cup, there is a reach toothbrush coupon in my 10/18 RP.
Upon further review, I didn’t get credit for the $1 off coupon on the Reach toothbrush. I heard it beep, as if the cashier needed to key in authorization. I assumed I got credit for it. I didn’t. I got an extra dollar on the Nivea coupon I shouldn’t have, so it’s a wash.
Hi,has anyone gotten the $3 crest rinse? at the store i checked they were $4.49 thanks all.
Regarding the Nivia lip care: yes, you can B1G1, but Carrie failed to point out something that the Full Cup folks reminded me. Make sure your cashier scans your B1G1 first, then the store coupon. The Nivea’s I bought were $2.99 each. Not sure why, but since the coupon is good for up to $3.99, I got $3.99 off from the cashier. Then the Walgreens store coupon scanned and took $4 off. So I got a $2.01 overage, or MM as the Full Cuppers like to call it. (I had to look it up, it stands for money maker.)
There were limited types of Dentyne gum at my Walgreens, and it’s not the best gum, but for 19 cents each plus tax, I’m in for two. When gum is cheap, I can chew a piece for five minutes and spit it out if the flavor is shot and not feel like I’m throwing money away. I bought 7 of those Trident layers gums because they were 24 cents each last week after my multiple coupons. It’s not bad, sugar-free gum, but I would pay a lot for it. I’ll stick to Orbit or Extra.
Kleenex at my Walgreens is not B1G1, it was $1.99 for a box, or two for $2.19. Close enough, but not as advertised. I didn’t ask for a 20-cent price adjustment given I had a MM working.
The Reach toothbrush was indeed free. It’s normally $1.59, although the product picture and the actual toothbrush I bought didn’t match. It was a challenge figuring out which toothbrush was the freebie, but reading the tiny text on the tag told me what I needed to know.
There was no Purex on the shelf at my Walgreens. Has this deal been ongoing? I’ve gotta stock up on that for free if I can find it in stock this week.
That’s my contribution to society. Good luck.
[...] week’s top Walgreens deals are compiled by Carrie from Pocket Your Dollars. Check out all of Carrie’s Walgreens [...]
Does anyone have any spare Cottonelle $1 off coupons that they would be willing to part with? I’m kind of a brand loyalist when it comes to the toilet paper.
Lisa – It was the Walgreens in Pheasant Ridge, off Lexington and 35W. They are right at the front in a display when you walk in, just to the right.
Lovely, she goes to the Cub/Walmart over there so she can check. Thanks again!
If I use $5 in RR on the Viva paper towel deal will I still get the RR or will I have to buy a filler item? I always forget. Thanks
How are you getting the Purex 3 in 1 for free? I bought 2 of them. I have the B1G1 coupon and the $1.00 off. My WAG let me use both, but I still paid $3.50 and got a RR for $1.00. Not that I’m complaining about $1.25 each, but I don’t understand how to get them for free. I have 2 sets of the coupons and was going to go back in and do it again.
Wendy, some people are reporting that the Purex 3-in-1 is on sale buy one, get one free at their stores. If that’s not the case for you, then go with the original price of $1.25 each. Still not bad!
The Purex 3-in-1 is not BOGO. It is the Purex liquid laundery detergent that is BOGO.
At my Wags, it was the Purex Laundry Detergent that was BOGO, in addition to the 3 in 1. With the BOGO coupon in the insert, it made them both free.
Thanks for the input…it make sense now. My WAG didn’t have the laundry soap B1G1, maybe I’ll check the one by my mom’s house and see if they do!
Also if you have the $1 off Revlon Hair Color coupon printed from Target.com/coupons, it is a manufacturer coupon, so combined with the WG $1.99 Revlon Hair Color Coupon, it ends up at $.99
I’m curious if anyone thinks that the Tylonal or Advil on page 12 is a good deal or not? We are out and I was hoping to see a coupon listed with it here, but there must not be one. Any thoughts?
Are you talking about the Tylenol and Motrin PM? We have done this deal. We have $1 off Tylenol coupons (that we got a long time ago that don’t expire until 6/10) and $1/1 or $3/2 Motrin coupons that we used. If you use the $3/2 Motrin coupon along with the $1.50 coupon from the March coupon book you will be both of them for free. I used these products since I work nights.
The printable coupon for Reach has run out. Bummer.
For those who do not get All You magazine there is a .75 in 2/21 SS for Colgate toothpaste which makes it .24 after RR
I purchased 6 of the Nivea Lip care products and used 3 BOGO coupons. All 6 rang up at $.99 even though the limit was 3 at that price, so my free coupons ended up being a small money maker. There are 2 types of Nivea Lip care products, one is $3.29 and the other $3.99. Cashier only took off $2.19 on the BOGO coupon, I think she confused the price of the Kleenex with the Nivea, but it ended up being a wash so I am fine with the end result. Also, cashier had $.50 off purchase of 1 coupons under the counter so she offered me those as well!
There were no signs advertising the RR for the Kleenex deal, but I did get a $3 RR on 6.
Danielle and Teresa –
Thanks again for the Purex tip. I was able to get 4 bottles for my mom for $0.85 yesterday. She’s very excited about this.
I used an in-ad coupon along with a MC and I had to have a filler item which surprised me. Is this the normal policy?
That’s strange, because I bought the 4 starbucks frappucinos, used 4 M coupons, and 1 Wags coupon, and everything was fine. I don’t think Wags coupons count toward the official coupon count.
I am beginning to think that this varies by store. I think my store also counts the WAGs coupons but I hear a lot of people say that their store doesn’t. Nervous to try the Reach deal because it will probably count as 3 or even 4 coupons on two items – thinking I’ll try to find fillers just to be safe.
I just went to walgreens in Plymouth, and i ended up making 1.01 on the Nivea. They were $2.99 each, the store coupon brought them down to $.99 each and she wrote in $2.99 on the manufacturers BOGO coupon. So I got them for free plus I made 1.01. Bought the Frapps, the olives and the neutrogena makeup as well and the coupons for them worked as they should.
Lisa,
I have been told by a manager at Walgreens that you need to have more items then coupons to use the wags bucks.
I called Aveeno on the rebate issue on the web site and they are forwarding to IT dept. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon! No eta though.
I went to the Walgreens in MG on Sunday night – they were out of the Crest dental care products. I purchased the schick razor, with $4 coupon and received $3 register rewards. I also purchased the Colgate Total toothpaste for 2.99 – and used a 0.75 off coupon. But didn’t get the register rewards. Do they print out separately? Should I have waited longer at the checkout counter for a second print out? Can you only get 1 register reward offer at once? Maybe I purchased the wrong kind…
Did you pay with any Register Rewards? That could explain why the Colgate RR didn’t print.
I bought the Purex Laundry Detergent today (not 3 in 1) and the cashier questioned the coupons as the Walgreens sale was B1G1 and the District Manager came over (he happened to be there) he told the cashier to take $5.99 off 4 times as I had 4 coupons….thus making it free for me! The regular laundry detergent will not produce the $1 RR, but the 3 in 1 will….although my store did not have the 3 in 1 for B1G1.
FYI……a good filler this week is clearance Valentines candy….I saw some for .05 each which would work great with the RR’s as fillers.
Lady Speed Stick is on sale 1.99 – get 1RR (making it .99). It also prints out a $2/2 coupon for the 24/7 lady speed stick.
the 409 coupon is expired-2-28-10
That’s it, Wallgreens is officially more trouble than it’s worth. I’m done with them. Last week a cashier accused me of taking a RR to her Manager in front of other customers..and they later discovered that they had accidentally torn it up when they rang it up incorrectly (no apology). This week, they declines to honor a $1.00 coupon for the $.99 Reach toothbrush. I’m baffled why they even have coupons & RR if they want to treat you like you are trying to get away with something. It’s so unlike CVS, Rainbow, Target, etc. Sorry, for the venting….
I was at the wags in Lakeville/Apple Valley (Off of cedar and county road 46) today and bought 4 purex for $0.85. Great deal!! Thanks for the great tip! They still have some on the shelf!
I was able to to use the $2/2 Right Guard Deodorant at the Edina (France Ave) store tonight. The product was $2.99/each. The register gave me the $2 off + the $2.99. Cost of two was $.50/each. I know it’s not free but hey, I’m getting started at this and feel it was a good deal.
I didn’t have any issues using 5 $1 Reach Floss coupons (I went to two stores). These will be great to donate.
Lady Speedstick is $1.99 and I used a $.75/1 coupon and earned a $1 RR. Final cost is $.24.
I obviously couldn’t do this without PYD and everyone else’s input. Thank you for sharing so much helpful information. The savings today at Rainbow were great as well!
My Walgreens in NE WI had to call the mgr. about my BOGO Purex coupon. They finally settled on me buying one and getting two bottles free because it just wouldn’t ring up for the guy. So I didn’t think that was the greatest price ($1.99), but oh well. I guess I should look at it like instead of just one free I got two. :) Think positive!
I tried to do the purex deal at a Walgreens and they refused to take the bogo coupon on two, they wanted me to buy FOUR of them. How are you getting them to do this deal?
I am going to try one more time but….
I had thought out my response if they gave me a hard time. I didn’t have to, but the way I was going to explain it was this, “Walgreens has decided to give its customers one for free if they buy one. With my coupon, the manufacturing is buying it instead of me paying for it. Walgreens still gets their money, just from the manufacturer instead of from my pocket.”
I fortunately had a cashier that just rang it through without questioning it. However, I wasn’t only getting that since it was time to stock up on toilet paper. If you’re only getting the detergent and not really paying anything except tax, it probably is raising red flags for them, even though it shouldn’t.
I was a bit nervous about using my BOGO deal but I had three BOGO coupons and bought six bottles. So I ended up getting six bottles for free!! The Plymouth WAGs had the laundry detergent BOGO but not the Purex 3 in 1. The cashier took them with no problem and I was greatly relieved!!
I went to Wags (Hastings) last night and bought 6 Kleenex with the coupons and rec’d $3 RR with no problem. Has anyone had problems getting the RR when using the $4 coupon on the Schick Intuition Razor? I bought one for $8.99, used the $4 coupon and expected to get $3 RR, but they didn’t pop out. The cashier said he’d been noticing today that the machine hadn’t been giving out the RR on several items, when a coupon was used. Could this be certain manufacturers or just my store? I think I’m going to return it, I have plenty in the closet and wouldn’t normally pay $4.99 for this item……
I am new so I tried printing the reach toothbrush/floss. I registered and then printed. It worked! So try it out. Jaime
Dawn dish soap is on sale this week for .99 cents for a 10.3 ounce bottle. Use the P&G .25 cent off coupon for dawn and get the dish soap for about .75 cents. I thought this was a pretty good deal and I needed some dish soap… so I snatched it up!
Also, I did the Renpure Shampoo and Conditioner deal. All the shampoos and conditioners at the Hopkins Walgreens (by the knollwood mall) have the rebates. I got the shampoo and conditioner for free after BOGO and Rebate (14.00 value).
Just thought I would share.
