Only had a SS in my early edition today. Another blog (MN Coupon Adventure) says that was it for this week, Also, RB is doing 10 coupon doubling next week!!!!
Is Rainbow really doing 10 coupon doubling? Is that for the week of 2-28 thru 3-6 or the following week?
I only found SS in my early editions too. Anyone finding RP?
I bought 2 Star Trib early editions at Walgreens…only SS in those.
Carrie, I probably tell at least 3 people/week about your website, Carrie. I stop people at Rainbow in the cereal aisle who are contemplating but don’t know the INS of Q’s. I could go on and on…I tell people who say that don’t have time that I make about $10-$15 an hour…it’s a part-time job….though it’s my hobby, really. Thanks again! Mary.
According to AFC there is only a Smart Source insert this week.
Kristen – I read conflicting reports online about the inserts. Some said Smartsource and some said both. I opted to go with the source that said there’d be two, but I might be wrong.
went to 6 different towns for the early edition and they all had smart source, nothing more. i tried it that way as i remember carrie had a little ditty about companies wanting to service target areas and figured i would hit one city with “all the goods”>not one of my best plans of late.

Last week I was on the road on Saturday. I found SS and RP in my earlies. I bought earlies in Plymouth and two points west…somewhere in Sticksville. Somewhere along the line I found a copy that also had P&G, something I didn’t think ever occurred.
I bought two yesterday that only had the SS – and neither one had the Purina One coupon in them – did anybody see that coupon? Thanks.
I bought 2 early ed. of ST and both had Purina $3 Q— however, it is NOT in my PPD reg. Sunday issue of SS today
St. Cloud times had a thin Smart Source and our Star Tribune had a much thicker Smart Source. This is usually the case. The coupons in the ST are much better, but no Red Plum in either one.
Is this a normal occurence–to only get one coupon insert? This was my first time buying the Sunday paper and I am VERY disappointed.
I always get the Sunday Strib delivered and have never not had an insert that was mentioned, but I had no SS or RP today. Strange. Does the early edition routinely have the same inserts as the regular Sunday paper?
Joe – There was only one insert this weekend after all. Like I said in a previous comment, I’d seen conflicting reports late last week online and I erred on the optimistic side because, frankly, there isn’t usually a Smartsource with a Red Plum. I was wrong. Sorry for any confusion.
