
Update: Some readers are saying that the coasters aren’t being automatically credited. One reader initiated a live chat with a Snapfish rep, the credit for the coasters was manually applied and she was able to use the free shipping code on top of it.
Snapfish ran out of the free pet leashes I told you about earlier this week. They have replaced that offer with six free coasters and 20 free prints for new customers (valued at $24.99). The reason to sign up with Snapfish now, and not wait for a future promotion, is free shipping. Through 2/19 you can use the code PRESDAY to have the free gift shipped free. Frankly, it doesn’t get more free than that.

Thank you.. but the PRESDAY code is only good for the free shipping. The coasters are still 24.99. I just called snapfish and they said that they don’t know anything about the free set of coasters in place of the dog leash. I’m bummed because she said that I won’t qualify as a new customer now going forward since I have an account now.
Kerri – That does sound frustrating. I’m not sure what happened, but other readers have created their account and gotten the free coasters. If it wasn’t’ credited to your account for some reason I’d ask Snapfish to cancel your account so that you can take advantage of a new customer promotion at a later date. Let us know what happens.
Okay…so I called Snapfish this morning and they issued me the credit for the 6 free coasters after I told them that others had the same problem and they were credited. I also then used PRESDAY and got free shipping. What a great deal! Thank you so much for this offer. I guess it depends on who you get at snapfish as to what they will do for you.

FYI- I also saw no coaster, but thought I would get my free prints. When I went to check out with the free shipping code PRESDAY, It said code does not work with this offer. They wanted me to pay shipping so I did not order as I can get my prints cheaper if I get them somewhere else. Bummer- But what do you do!

I also just went to Snapfish. I created a new account and only the 20 free prints were available. There were no coasters AND the PRESDAY code does not work, so no free shipping. I scrapped my order.
I made my coasters today plus they had a free 4×6 flip book in my credit area and the free shipping worked on both so I got both items for free plus free shipping! I’m pretty sure the free shipping doesn’t apply to pictures. I’ve tried it once before too. Thanks :o)
I didn’t see the credit in my shopping cart either, so I chose the “Live Chat” option.
Here is what I was told:
Sandhya: Due to some temporary technical problem you have not received your credit for coaster set 6, no holder . However i have manually issued a credit for coaster set 6, no holder to your Snapfish account .
Sandhya: This credit will be applied automatically when ever you place a standard mail order for coaster set 6, no holder from your online Snapfish account .
I then placed my order with PRESDAY and it was totally free!
I just got the free coasters. I also didn’t see the free coasters and it wasn’t credited to my account. I started a live chat on the snapfish website with a customer service Rep. He credited it to my account. The PRESDAY code worked for free shipping for the coasters but not for the prints (because they are shipped separately) ended up paying $2.12 in shipping for my 20 prints. Still a great deal. Thanks.
The person I spoke with on live chat said it expired…however she went back and credited it for me also. She told me to place the order then she went back in and credited my payment source.
Soooo frustrated here! I went through the hassle of creating an account and making the coasters online. It didn’t go through at first but I chatted online with a representative who credited my account. I just received an email this morning that the coasters were not part of a deal to open an account therefore I will not be getting them. I’m really bummed and will never use Snapfish again!!
I received the same email this morning stating that the coasters were not supposed to be credited and that they would replace it with a free 5×7 card. I already placed my order on Feb. 17th for the coasters with everything being free. I checked my order status and it says it’s still processing. I’m not sure if they will still be sending me my order or if they will charge me now…which I’m not sure they can do that after an order is placed on the assumption its free.
Julie…had you used your free coasters credit like me? Or did you have the credit sitting there and they took it away. Just curious because I already used my credit and now I wonder what they will do. All I know is that they better not charge me.
Kerri – Sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. Snapfish’s intent to create positive will through a giveaway seems to be back firing on them after some had the dog leash cancelled and now the coasters. Disappointing.

Snapfish won’t fullfill the order I placed on the 17th for the coasters. They gave me a free 8×11 classic photobook because I was pretty mad that they didn’t at least state in their email that I wouldn’t be getting my order. The email only said they made a mistake by placing the credit on my account for the coasters. This email came a week after placing my coaster order. The email didn’t say they were going to cancel orders already placed. My account still reads the coaster order as being processed. Really poor management by snapfish on this one. As a business….if you make a mistake and don’t honor what your reps are doing….you are demonstrating the worst kind of business practice. I will be canceling my snapfish account. Never have had a problem with shutterfly. I will stick with them.
