My favorite deals this week are the Grands! biscuits, ConAgra promotion and free glass cleaner. You’ll need the right coupons and to shop on Wednesday (and/or Saturday at Rainbow Foods) to have the face value of your coupons doubled. Please take a minute and read the rules for doubling coupons.
I cannot tell which printable coupons say “do not double” and which do not apart from printing them and I cannot always print every coupon (sometimes I have already printed it, etc.). That means you’ll need to review the coupons cross-referenced on this list to confirm whether they can be doubled or not.

Your turn: What combination of products are you getting with the ConAgra promotion? What other deals do you see?

I am new to this website, and am wondering: since /i just started out what is the best way to get great deals since I don’t have any of the previous coupons mentioned? (I just started clipping coupons on 2/14)
Anna- I would ask your friends/family if they have any coupons they arent using! You would be suprised how many papers some people keep piled up in a bin! Otherwise starting at walgreens/cvs is a good way to start w/out coupons because you get ecb and rr’s so I would check those both out as well!
Check out Carries Rock bottom post on here that will help you see what you should/shouldnt be spending on some items and go from there!
Okay I could ramble on forever, lol. Hope this is somewhat helfpul! Welcome to COUPONING…warning:its addicting! :)
Also internet coupons are a good way to get started since you dont have many newspaper coupons. That will help you at least save some money!
Good idea, Kierstien. When I first started couponing, this is how I got started because I didn’t subscribe to the newspaper yet.
Anna, I also from time to time buy additional coupons that I know I will use from an online coupon supplier (thecouponclippers.com). There are some things that we use a lot of, so when there’s a good coupon, I’ll order an extra 10 of them, for instance. You might want to see if there is anything worthwhile there for you. But don’t worry – your coupons will build up pretty darn quickly, you’ll be surprised. And the online coupons are great, too!
At first I got caught up in trying to get everything at rock bottom prices. I had to change my mentality so I wouldn’t go nutty. I found it was better to make a list of prices that I normally spend on items (before discovering PYD) and as long as I could get it cheaper than what I would normally purchase it for, I bought it. After a few weeks of that mentality, I started to see what I should really be spending on items and now I can walk out of Rainbow with two bags of groceries for $5! Just don’t rush into it; you’ll wear yourself out.
I believe the PopSecret coupon from 1/3 expired on 2/14/10. I used mine yesterday at Cub for that reason.
I forget what Rainbow’s policy is on expired coupons. It sounds like they don’t accept them at all. Correct?
Rainbow does not accept expired coupons.
There is a $0.50/2 coupon for the Pop Secret which would make them $0.50 each with a doubled coupon. I don’t remember which insert it was from though.
Plymouth Rainbow on 55 takes coupons that are less than a week expired.
What is the 12/13, 1/3, etc…. General Mills that you list? Was this an insert in the paper? Please help me as soon as you can. I am teaching my first class tonight, and would like to be able to pass on the information.
Yes, there were separate inserts in the paper for those weeks with all GM items. I believe the most recent had a race car on the front – “rev up” or something like that.
I have never seen a General Mills insert. I get the Milwaukee Journal. Does anybody know if those inserts are region specific? Is there anybody else in the Milwaukee county, Washington county area that is getting these inserts? If so, in what paper?
I got a Madison, WI paper 2/7 and it had the GM insert.
We get them in the Sheboygan press just north of you!
Carrie,
When you freeze the biscuits do you do it before baking them? Won’t they expolode? I would love to be able to freeze them prior to baking.
When I went to the link for soft soap it indicate a .35 cent coupon vs the .40?
Last weeks deal on pot roast is now in my crock pot with onion soup mix, car. pot. onion and can’t wait till supper.
Thanks for all your help,
Dawn
You’re right. It says $0.40 on the webpage, but when you bring up the coupon, it says $0.35. Strange…
Dawn,
I have frozen them right in the packaging and they do not expolde.
Dawn, I froze my last set of Grand Biscquits and they turned out just fine! I was surprised myself.
Julie W
I too am interested in freezing the biscuits – we do eat them often, but I have had trouble with them exploding just in my fridge in the past, I could buy them now and save them for Easter, Mothers Day, etc. It would be a big savings.
if you are afraid of them exploding i am gussing you can just open them up and put them in freezer bags or containers and freeze them that way.
I love the deal idea for the Grands Biscuits but am wondering how the Pillsbury Grands unadvertised promotion for $4 off your next order work. Do you have to purchase a certain quantity (like 6 biscuits) or spend a certain $ amt (like $4)? Maybe a combo of both??
The Pillsbury promotion is for quantitly purchased.
buy 6, get back $4
Does a catalina print out? I didn’t get one last week, and I bought 4 of them–bummer!
Melissa,
the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Bring your receipt to customer service and they will give you the cash for the amount you should have received in the coupon.
Does anybody know when this catalina promo ends?
Through 2/21 I believe. I read this elsewhere:
“Receive a coupon for up to $4.00 of your next order when you buy Pillsbury refrigerated crescents, cookies, sweet rolls, Grands! Biscuits, Grands!, cinnamon rolls, pie crusts, dinner rolls, loaves, bread sticks, or pizza crust. Offer ends 2/21/10.
Buy 4 participating products, get $2.00 off your next order
Buy 5 participating products, get $3.00 off your next order
Buy 6 participating products, get $4.00 off your next order”
Yes, we got General Mills coupon inserts in the paper. :)
in what paper?
Minneapolis Star Tribune received a GM insert 2/07
Has anyone successfully used the BOGO free egg coupon at pick n’ save or copps? I have had problems using it since it is not a “manufacturer” coupon. It says it is a “good egg project” coupon.
Yes, I used the BOGO egg q at Rainbow last week.
I didn’t even attempt it there, most Rainbow locations will not take any internet printed coupons for a free item. I just went to Cub to pick up eggs. Less hassle there.
I was afraid to try using it there, so I used it at Walgreens last wk when they had their eggs on special for $0.99.
Ortega taco seasoning is reg. .75 With the .75/2 coupon you’ll get 2 free. This is reg. price, so I always keep that in mind if I need another doubles option.
McCormick seasoning packets are 20% off this week. With .75 off coupon, they’ll be free or close.
Everytime the coupon for $1 off grand biscuits is listed, it is always already exceeded the number of coupons printed. Wish I could have a chance to print one.
Here’s a coupon for $1 off the Quaker Oatmeal bringing it down to .50 rather than 1.50. Hope that helps.

grands coupon said I printed all my coupons and I never printed any for grands before! :(
Hmmm. This usually means that the coupon is out of prints. I’ll update the list.
The only $1/1 Danon coupons I see in the 2/7 SmartSource are for Dannon children’s yogurt (Dan-o-nino and Danimals Coolision) or Dannon Activia. Are those also on sale or should I be finding a coupon for “regular” Dannon yogurt. Am I missing something?
the danimals and daninos are on sale for $2 as well! they were last week to and i got some for free!!!
Has anyone seen the Danon-nino yogurts at their stores yet? I didn’t notice them last week when I checked.
Yes – I purchased them at EP rainbow last week.
I did not see them at Lake street Rainbow, but when I stopped at the Eagan rainbow they did have lots of them, to bad I already got the other kinds wed. and I had my 5 coupons used for that trip.
Lakeville store had daninos last night! my daughter loves them!! also bought the coolisions (even tho they were still $2.39) only .39 after dbl cpn
Then danino was on sale last week. But my coupons were in my file so I missed out. But knowing Rainbow they probably are still on sale. Does anybody know about this week?
yes they are in the paper this week as on sale! if you look in your add they are on the 3rd page bottom left 2/4!!! so $2ea w $1 cpn dbl= FREE!!! I am getting them again this week my daughter loves these!
last week we got the 6pk of the drinkable danimals yogurt BIG HIT at our house
Carrie – Thanks for the great tip on freezing the Pillsbury biscuits. Do you know if cinnamon rolls and crescent rolls freeze well?
The Mission Soft Tortilla coupon is unavailable too- no need to register unless you want recipes emailed to you.
The mission tortilla coupon says it is out of print.
The gogurt coupons don’t appear to be $.80/1, they all look like $.80/TWO, can someone please update the text? Or am I missing something?
Not sure if it’s just my computer, but something appears to be wrong with the link to Betty Crocker/Pillsbury/Eat Better American for the Progresso soup coupons. It brings me to the log in page, and after I log in, the coupon page is blank. I see that the link is a Pocket Your Dollars specific link, so maybe it’s something wrong with that, because I was able to go directly to the website and print out the coupons.
I printed a couple Progresso soup q’s from the link…just a tip: they say do not double.
There are coupons on the Delmonte website for $1/4: http://solutions.delmonte.com/
maria thanks for the link !
I have a subscription to All You magazine but am having trouble finding the Healthy Choice coupons in the January and February issues. I see the ad, but no coupons. Help???
when you registar for the Glass cleaner beware that they use up so much ink. It prints one cpn per page.
There are some coupons from ConAgra that came in the mail recently. They say DND on them. Does anyone happen to know if they double automatically with the Rainbow registers? If you use them tomorrow and they work, let us know.
Ann- Any coupon whose first number (in teeny tiny print) is 5 will double if scanned at the register.
Thanks for this great tip Carrie! I will re-work my transactions with that in mind. This means that the Pillsbury Grands .30/2 should double because they have the small 5 as their first UPC number. When I originally did my transactions I was not counting that coupon as a double, but now I will.
Carrie,
At the Forest Lake store, the cashier refused to scan my $1/2 man. coupon for the Grands because it said do not double. I checked, and it does have the little 5 in the barcode, so I thought it was fine. I asked her to scan it to see if it would double, and she said that would be committing coupon fraud. I asked the manager about it, and her response was that their cashiers are told to manually enter in the coupons that say do not double (they will only ring in the face value of the coupon). So she rang in my $1 off coupon as $.50 and doubled that. Needless to say, I was very disappointed, as I had expected to have an additional $3 taken off my order. :(
Susie – Yes, they will technically double, but the cashiers do not have to accept them because the policy is that they don’t double “do not double” coupons. Each store and each cashier do this differently and very recently Roundy’s corporate office has been strongly encouraging stores to manually review coupons and not double those that say “do not double.” I understand the frustration when you think you’ll have more of a discount than what you get.
I just looked and they have a 9 first…bummer! But I would be curious to know if anyone is successful in getting these to double anyway???
Thanks Carrie for the tip! Just to double check I tried to double one of those coupons and it did NOT work. You can expect that they won’t double…too bad.
I threw out my Rainbow ad from last week, but I got a $5 free fuel rebate catalina form from purchasing $20 in General Mills products. I did not intend on even doing this, so it was a bonus! Does anyone still have that ad who could tell me what products they listed as applicable to the rebate? I tried to look online at GM site, but couldn’t find anything.
Thanks!
Gina – I found my Rainbow Ad from last week in my car!
Here are the participating products:
General Mills Cereals (all varieties)
Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Snacks (all varieties)
Betty Crocker SuperMoist Cake Mix, Brownie Mix, or Pouch Potatoes
Nature Valley Granola Bars
Fiber One Chewy Bars
Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, Bread, Cinnamon Rolls
Macaroni Grill Restaurant Favorites
Old El Paso Heat & Serve Side Dishes
Yoplait Smoothies, Original 99% Fat Free Yogurt, Whips Yogurt
Green Giant Canned Vegetables, Valley Fresh Steamers, or Select No Sauce Vegetables
HTH! :)
I just noticed that the list I posted above was only what was in the fine print at the bottom, but also in the big “picture” portion of the Ad on that page that says “Get $5 free in Gas WYB $20 worth of GM products” it indicates that the Betty Crocker Frosting, Warm Delights, Pouch Cookies or Bisquick was also included. The fine print at the bottom doesn’t have that listed though… but just wanted to let you know in case you had bought those other items and it was the only way that your products added up to $20.
You should be fine if you just circle all the GM products on your receipt and send it in. Off the top of my head, I know The GM cereals were included (cheerios, cinnamon toast crunch, etc) as well as red gold tomatoes and some kind of mexican boxed sides.
Here’s an alternate deal I found this week on Pop Secret
Pop Secret Popcorn – $0.99
$0.50/2 from 1/31 SS
Final Price: two for $0.98 or $0.49 each with doubled coupon
I tried to use the Conagra coupon on Saturday for the fresh mixers – my store would not double since it said Do not double. – Probably depends on your cashier
Jen – The cashier I go to doubles everything the register lets double and it did not double.
I tied to use the $1 coupons from the ConAgra Rediscover your balance mailer I got from ConAgra. All coupons said DND and the numbers started with a 9 rather then a five. The manager said they would not double, Surprisingly, one of them did double.
Also, I tried to use the BOGO coupon i received at Sobe website, but the manager said Rainbow does not accept coupons from the nternet for free items. I simply said okay. I wanted them anyway and will use them at Cub or Target sometime in the future.
As a follow-up,I went to CVS today. They have a BOGO sale on SoBe Water. They have a limit of 4 purchases. I had 4 BOGO coupons from the SoBe site for BOGO. In the end, I got 8 bottles at no charge. So, it worked out to my advantage that Rainbow said no. I got twice as many at CVS.
Jen,
I wonder how they “prevent” coupons from doubling? At my Rainbow (Richfield or Bloomington) they don’t even question DNDs – and if the barcodes start with a 5, they will double automatically whether they say DND or not. Do they manually enter the coupon amount for those DND’s, as the register will automatically double the ones that don’t start with 9?
Mindy
Do the Catalina specials work at all stores? If so Del Monte has
Buy 3or 4 get $1
Buy 5 get $1.50
Buy 6 or more get $2
off your next purchase
Participating canned vegetables – I got this at Cub last week when I bought the veggies for $.99
expires 2/20/10
Kristi – Catalinas are not necessarily (and not usually) run at all stores at the same time. Manufacturers will work with a particular store brand to set-up their promotions. But then again, there are exceptions to every rule so thanks for sharing.
I bought 5 Del Monte this morning and did not get a Catalina.
Happy Shopping everyone. Looks like I need to use up my stockpiles. I don’t need anything from the grocery store this week! AMAZING!
Anita – The Rocha family dittos your sentiments :)
Just a heads up. For the ConAgra $5 Future Coupon Deal, the coupon prints on the bottom of the register tape, you need to cut it off. It Does NOT print as a Catalina slip.
I HATE RAINBOW. I just got back from Rainbow. I just tried the double coupon day for the first time. It was to much work to remember all the rules and get just what I needed. I don’t buy a lot of groceries so it does not pay for me to shop there. Also the people that work there were not very nice. I shop at Cub and they always are very helpful and try to make it right. I have been a coupon shopper for 45 years. Last year I saved over 25% of my grocery bill with coupons and I did not have to try or spent a lot of time on it. I must say I do LOVE this site. Carrie is wonderful.
Kitty, I’m sorry to hear that you had such a bad first experience. I can say that as a former exclusively-Cub shopper, it was hard for me to remember all the rules for Rainbow, too, but it got easier! Now I love shopping at Rainbow, even though it’s a little more work. I usually bring a list of items I’d like to buy in order of priority (just in case something’s out of stock) and write down the shelf prices as I pick up the items. I also keep a calculator with me (have I mentioned before how much of a nerd I am?) to make sure that I meet the $25 shelf price minimum.
Kitty – Ditto Laura’s comments that I’m sorry to hear you had a frustrating first experience. When I teach classes and talk about the prospect of switching grocery stores I tell people to get ready to have a realization of how comfortable they are in their own grocery store and a new store feels like a foregin land. Add trying to figure out the double coupon rules on top of it and wow, that’s a lot. But, then I hear my pastor’s voice who says this to new visitors every Sunday, “Please come back 2 or 3 times, let us get a chance to meet you and get to know you.” If you can stomach it, maybe try it 2 or 3 more times, when it won’t be quite as new, and then decide if you think it’s possible to save money there. If not, then stay put and enjoy your shopping. I’m glad you enjoy Pocket Your Dollars and I;’m thankful to have you as a reader.
I also hated Rainbow in the beginning and was a Cub shopper. I even had nice cashiers. It really does get easier and I’m probably close to your age as well. It does take a lot of time in the beginning but gets better, especially as you get used to the store. A bad cashier can also make a huge difference. I went last Saturday (I usually go Wed. evenings) and the cashier was awful. She told me my coupons weren’t going to double because I didn’t reach $25 (I had $10 off the total immediately). They did and she was not nice about it. Don’t give up yet – we have saved a ton of money at Rainbow.
I just got back from Rainbow and it was awesome. I let the cashier know I was new to the double coupon days and she told me that in order for me to get double coupons I needed to have my groceries total 25.00 before coupons and that she could only double 5 coupons. She said she would let me know when I reached 25.00 and then we would do another transaction for my other stuff since I had more than 5 coupons. There was no one else in my line so maybe thats why she took more time with me. It was a wonderful experience…even if my 16 month old was fussy!
Know these are not on sale however thought I would remind everyone.
Buy any refrigerated Jell-O Snack Product during 2/12-3/7 and save
Buy 2 get 1.00
Buy3 get 2.00
Buy 4 or more get 3.00
coupon off a future shopping trip.
Wasn’t sure if anyone noticed but in the smaller in-store ad there is a coupon for buy one green works laundry detergent, get a green works cleaning product free. With the 20% the detergent was 6.39. Used 1.50 off coupon and a .50 off coupon (which doubled) for the cleaning product. The cleaning product was also then deducted in full (3.29). So I paid 3.89 for BOTH! Received a .50 off next order too.
Has anyone mentioned that Edy’s ice cream is on sale for $2.99. I used the $1.00 off coupon from a couple weeks ago. Doubled and the ice cream was $1.00. Scope is on sale for $3.50 and I had coupon for $1.00 off. Doubled it was $1.50. Good enough for me.
Maryellen, good catch! I’ll update the post to reflect the Edy’s deal. I can usually get mouthwash for less than $1.00.
Carrie or whoever else might have a good answer:),
I saw you mentioned that the rock-bottom price for Brawny paper towels is 5.99 now and for Quilted Northern TP is also 5.99. Does that mean that the cheapest you can get a 12-pack of paper towels or toilet paper for is 3.99 (with a doubled $1/1 coupon)?? This might sound crazy, but what does that end up being cost per sheet of TP and cost per sheet of paper towels. I have learned not to go by cost per roll, since the number of sheets per roll varies so much from brand to brand and even withIN a brand name! I still buy TP and paper towels at Sam’s, since I’m not picky about brands, and their POM brand of paper towels comes out to .00861/sheet; and the POM brand of TP comes out to .00104/sheet. Aside from an occasional deal at Walgreens or CVS, I have found that this ends up being cheaper than anything else I find – is this true for anyone else?
Good questions! I hate to sound like an old lady, but I’ve been buying toilet paper and paper towel for what seems like decades (I’m almost 50…not 80! lol) Price per sheet is helpful, but I’ve learned that what really matters to me is how long one roll lasts. Long-lasting rolls equal fewer purchases for me. I have 2 or 3 brands that do the job for my family and last a decent amount of time. I can get a cheap roll of toilet paper, but if it only lasts one day then its not a bargain to me. My personal rock bottom is the Walgreen’s Big Roll for .25 a roll (with WAGS clip out coupon). I base my other TP purchases off that price.
For paper towels, I want something absorbent and reusable for 2 or 3 tasks (one for a dry clean tasks and then wet down to spot clean or dust). I also want the smaller sized sheets (or create your own size). My kids are now older teens, so we go through way less paper towel than we used to! I’ve also got a stack of washcloths in the kitchen to cut down on paper towel use. I’m less picky on the paper towel price point. Best brands for me are Target, Aldi or a good coupon deal, but the paper towel has to fit my parameters.
I’d also love to hear how others determine value/price in paper towels and toilet paper.
Michelle,
I went to Wal-Mart and put together a price list on items like toilet paper and paper towels to establish a baseline. For TP, I figure the equivalent of regular rolls to determine value. Most packages say “12 double rolls = 24 regular rolls” or something like that. I then divide the price by the number of regular rolls the package is equivalent to. I don’t have access to my spreadsheet now, but I’ve found that $3.99 is a good price for the equivalent of 24 regular rolls of TP (about $.17/roll).
Mindy
Michelle – You’re right that I am talking about a rock bottom price in a non-memberships tore. You may be able to get something cheaper at Sam’s, but I’ve never priced it (sounds like you have). Of course you have to figure in the membership fee you pay and make sure that even after that is included that you still come out ahead.
I went this morning and Van de Kamps frozen fish is on sale buy one get one — does anyone know of some coupons I could match up with that?
Jessica,
I saw that too, and I just went ahead and got it… I thought $3.98 for each big box was decent. The most I’d pay anyway! ;) Much better than $8 per box! I did have a Rainbow catalina for that brand about a month ago but it was expired :( If only they had run that BOGO sale a week or two ago!!
Jessica,
The next time you’re wondering if there’s a coupon for an item on your list – go to Couponmom.com. After free registry you can access an awesome coupon database. Just type in the name and it’ll show you if there are any coupons.
Jessica – I haven’t seen any Van de Kamp’s coupons yet, but since Lent started this week we will see a bunch of fish coupons and sales in the weeks ahead. I suspect Van de Kamps will go on sale again soon with coupons to match (hopefully).
Thank you for all of your help – and I am going to check out the website — I too bought some thinking they were a good deal – I will look forward to more fish in the weeks ahead.
I just noticed in the paper that the jello cups are 2/5.00. Not sure if that is a sale price or but you do get money towards your next shopping as I mentioned above.
I am totally bummed that I missed this! My hubby is having a colonoscopy and can only have clear liquids today. He asked where we should get his Jello. I just assumed Target would be cheaper. We paid $2.87 at Target. I am now kicking myself. Not only could we have gotten it cheaper, but also $1 off our next order, and I could have doubled my little 50cent coupon. Grrr….. Oh well!
My PNS had Dawn Direct (the foamy pump dish soap) on markdown for $1.59 and I doubled a mfr coupon to take $1 off!! So it was $0.09. :) And Greenworks dish soap was marked down to $1.69 (norm price $3.39). I didn’t have a coupon, but it printed out a catalina for $0.50 oyno. It printed two, so I’m assuming it was for each one that I bought. Yay! I also got Beechnut Let’s Grow Veggie Nibbles for $0.44/each. I bought three and used two mfr coupons that doubled. The original price was marked down to $1.44 (norm price is $2.89). I don’t usually buy those, but had coupons in my arsenal. Overall a good night. Bought two packs of Quilted Northern and payed $3.99 each. :) I think you are right about it not getting much cheaper than this. I heard around this time of yr CVS does some crazy good deal on tp, but I don’t shop there. Maybe I should start!
Oops meant the Dawn was $0.59. Golly, $0.09 would have been waaay better. :) This all happened at the Kimberly PNS if anyone wants to know. :) I feel like there were lots of coupons everywhere too. Peelies, tags, Qs left by others. I like to leave them too if they are expiring soon. People look at me like I’m a weirdo. Just spreading the love.
Had a great trip to the store in Savage today and bought the butter that was $1.88 a pound. I know that’s not the best deal (2/$3 is usually when I buy it) but I was running low.
Anyway, two things:
1. Juicy Juice DHA and Immunity varieties at the Savage store were 50% off ($1.49) due to the fact that they are close dated. I bought three that expire 3/6/10. Quantities were really limited, but that’s a huge discount and my son loves that juice. Might want to check your stores’ shelves if you normally buy that while it’s in stock.
2. About the butter…question: Does Rainbow have a price adjustment policy if something goes on sale after purchase for a certain # of days like Target does? If that butter *does* go on sale soon for 2/$3 I’d like to get the difference back! ;) Yeah, I’m that girl who goes back for my .38 cents!
Thanks in advance if anyone can answer that question!
For those of you that may have printed out the Oscar Mayer Bologna or Cotto Salami coupon for $1/one, Rainbow has both on sale this week for 2/$4 making them free on Wed. and Sat. I had mine and got 1 of each free.
If you printed out the Oscar Mayer Deli tray coupon last week, there was also a Bologna/Cotto Salami coupon among others. I checked but the campaign has ended so no new prints available.
Rainbow in Richfield is clearancing:
-Tide Stain Release 26oz for $3.99
-Greenworks Stain Release Spray $1.47
-Clorox HE bleach $1.09
-Dawn Direct Foam for $1.47
-Juicy Juice DHA $1.49 (like previously posted)
Man, I wish I wrote down everything for you guys. Oh well.
I usually don’t shop down there as I am from White Bear but we were down there for other reasons. I found the lines really really long and slow, but the staff was nice once I got up there.
If you have regular prescriptions to fill and don’t mind transferring to another Pharmacy Rainbow has a free $10 gift card coupon in the paper this week and is running a deal if you were previously a snyders customer get a $10 gift card with a transferred rx.
I decided to check this out and remembered that someone has posted that they had a Rx program that gave you gift cards as well – thank you to whomever that was. You get a coupon for every Rx you fill (one per day) and when you collect 5 you get a gift card. As we have two monthly RX’s in this house I’ll definately take advantage of this.
so you get a coupon for every rx and not just the new ones?? we also have two ea mo so this would be great! How much is the gc for every 5?
$10 gc. It says “Earn one script saver coupon for each visit to our pharmacy, Collect 5 and you can redeem them at our pharmacy for a $10 gift card for groceries in our store”
FIne print to the side – 1 coupon per day per person so just be sure to fill them on seperate days.
Awesome thanks!!! Guess I am going to be switching our perscriptions to Rainbow once I need them refilled! Wish I needed them filled this weekend so I could get two $10gc to start them out with :( But they both cant be refilled till beg. of march hmmmm! DOes anyone know if Rainbow accepts compititors Pharmacy Coupons?
THANKS!
Oh – also was able to use my Oreo’s and Excedrin coupons tonight. I went to the CS desk first when I got there to have them signed off on so the cashier didn’t have to make the determination. I brought the whole sheet address and all so they could look at it as someone else also suggested.
When I got home, I noticed that the Rainbow doubled coupons that said, “Do not double” and also doubled a coupon that was $1.50. I was VERY surprised at the $1.50 double – did I miss something? It made me wish I would’ve used more of my Duracell coupons from the 2/7 insert :)
looks like you got lucky w. the 1.50 one, I had one it didn’t. but I had a dnd in store coupon that doubled! nice!
My cashier doubled the ConAgra coupons manually. It did not work by just scanning them in the register.
The shelf price of the Quilted Northern at the Lakeville Rainbows was $9.28 ($3.99 oop cost after sale price and doubled $1/1 coupon) , making it a great item to add to the cart to help get to the $25 minimum.
Thanks I will remember this for sat! when i went tonight i wanted to do 2trans since once i got my stuff in the cart i wanted i had 11cpns 1ofwhich was a bogo so unable to double. Anyways i grabbed 3 lightbulbs which are still on sale for $1 but shelf price is $4.99 :) so another great way to get there who doesnt need cfl lightbulbs?
Carrie, Are you considering an addendum to the Rainbow ad? We get the specials for Th Fri Sat. With doubles on Sat now, I wonder if there are other promos to consider.
Brenda-did you notice anything in your 3-day ad that wasn’t in the weekly ad? I have been trying to figure this out for weeks, and it kind of looks like it is just little mid-week reminder to get the things that were featured in the Sunday ad. Just wondering if you have seen anything different featured in the 3-day ad. Thanks! :)
As Kierstien stated the CFL lightbulbs are still available at $1.00. The GE website has $1.00 off two bulbs. If you purchase two bulbs you will get them free after coupons are doubled.
http://www.gelighting.com/na/home_lighting/coupons_offers/
You are allowed two prints per computer.
I didnt even have cpns!!! I will print these for sat :) hopefully my store still has some bulbs left! I took most of them wed.
