My favorite deals this week are the Grands! biscuits, ConAgra promotion and free glass cleaner. You’ll need the right coupons and to shop on Wednesday (and/or Saturday at Rainbow Foods) to have the face value of your coupons doubled. Please take a minute and read the rules for doubling coupons.
I cannot tell which printable coupons say “do not double” and which do not apart from printing them and I cannot always print every coupon (sometimes I have already printed it, etc.). That means you’ll need to review the coupons cross-referenced on this list to confirm whether they can be doubled or not.

Your turn: What combination of products are you getting with the ConAgra promotion? What other deals do you see?

I had a good week at Roundy’s this week! They paid me money from the register AGAIN!
http://momforhim.blogspot.com/2010/02/weekly-shopping-they-paid-me-again.html
Don’t worry, I’m sure it won’t be a regular occurrence. :-)
Thanks to whomever it was who posted that the $5 conagra coupon would print on the receipt. I planned to do two transactions back to back, and while my cashier was ringing the first one I could stand there poised and ready with a tiny pair of scissors to cut the coupon off. I’m sure the cashier thought I was nuts!
Here’s the Conagra deal I did, utilizing some of the new coupons at http://www.bakesweetmemories.com/coupons.html
1 Pam Spray (.50 coupon doubled to $1 from above site)
2 Wesson oil (.50 coupon doubled to $1 from above site, plus $1 DND coupon from recent booklet)
5 8oz. cans tomato sauce ($1 DND coupon from booklet)
3 cans tomatoes (.45/3 coupon from 1/24 (?) SS, doubled to .90)
Also on the transaction,
2 boxes Pop Secret with .50/2 coupon doubled to $1
1 Edy’s icecream with $1/1 coupon doubled to $2
Total oop on this transaction was $12.27, plus I had the $5 off coupon to use on my second transaction.
most rainbows are closing out the tide stain and there are Q’s for $3.00 off bringing it to 49 cents on a 6.99 retail on laundry soap. purchased a total of 20 tide stain between a few stores to give to the food shelves around town as products like these are in high demand and low in supply. Retail price for all 20= $139.80/ after Q’s it came to $9.80 plus tax. i used my catalinas from my pillsbury purchases ($4.00 x 3 = $12.00) bringing it down to better than free. That was my great find for the day plus this will help many families. also wanted to mention that i received 1 catalina for each dannon yogurt purchased (total of 12) good for 1 free Breyers 4 pk of YoCrunch(100 calorie packs), not to exceed $3.39 w/ an expiration date of 4/14/10. it says redeem at rainbow yet it is a manuf. nice to use these free Q’s as fillers to reach your $25. mark.
The quaker oats true delights are included in the sale FYI.
Lisa; re the rainbow rx and snyders former customers> rainbow will issue a $10 gc for ea Rx transferred from snyders AND will issue another $5. gc if you have that SAME Rx filled at rainbow the NEXT month. You will earn 1 script saver for ea refill and when you have 5 you can redeem for another $10 gc. this only applies to those who are not covered by a federally funded insurance co. ie: medicare part D, medical assistance, etc.
If some of you are drowning in Grands biscuits like I am, here is a cool doughnut recipe I found:
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/canned-biscuit-dough-donuts-and-holes-recipe/index.html
Enjoy!
what a great idea!!! and lots cheaper then going to the bakery and pciking up donuts! awesome :)
My 2 girls and I just made the Grands biscuits donuts. It was very easy and they are really, really good. We just sprinkled them with cinnamon sugar. We also fried them in canola oil vs. peanut oil. This may become a regular “special” treat for them.
Thanks for the recipe.
i tried this but i think i had the oil too hot for donuts but then i made donut holes instead and those were great!!! Will try doing donuts again with oil not soo hot! I also used canola vs peanut because its what i had on hand.
I wanted to leave a comment about the free Oreo coupon that came in the mail. Roundy’s policy is that they do not accept internet free coupons (of any kind) according to the e-mail that I have from corporate. The free Oreo coupon is not an internet coupon. Just flip over to the back of the coupon, and gently rub a coin over the blank white lines in between the black coupons.com writing that is on the coupon. The words coupons.com will appear. It is a water mark built into the paper. A store should definitely be able to make a call that the coupon is legit. If they don’t then they are just being a duddly do right without using any common sense. Just take the coupon somewhere else then.
My Pick ‘n Save will not take the free internet coupons either…but Walmart does!
They took my Oreo coupons at the Savage store last week. I didn’t cut it out completely…just sort of ripped it from the paper but you can totally tell that it’s not printed on regular paper. I didn’t know about the watermark! Good observation!
So does anyone know of any New deals now that the 3day sale time is upon us? Before going out shopping tomorrow
Not sure what everyones price point is for shampoo and conditioner or hairspray but herbal essence is on sale at rainbow for $2.77 if you use the $1off coupon on dbl day its only .77ea! What i did was bought hair gel and conditioner and used buy shampoo/cond get styler free cpn and $1/1 shampoo/cond cpn and dbl it so i got hair gel and conditioner for .77 not too shabby at all! HTH someone
Chicken for $0.99/lb!
Chicken breast packages that were on sale for $1.99 a pound were marked down to $0.99 a pound with no limit at my Rainbow (Blaine)! Looks like they had gotten too many in for the sale and since they have sell by dates of 2/22 they are trying to clear them out. I picked up a bunch but there were still quite a few left. FYI
Susie,
I see that a lot of people are now being told that Pick and Save, etc… will no longer double coupons that say do not double. I have never experienced a problem having those coupons double. I do have an e-mail from corporate that does not say that they will not double those coupons. I would check with corporate on this. The fact that they are manually entering in the coupons in order to make them not double sounds fishy to me. If they would just scan them they would double, which indicates to me that is what corporate would allow. I would think that corporate would have a better way of handling that situation if that was not what they wanted. They do not get paid double even for the coupons that don’t say do not double, because the store is the one doubling the offer. I don’t see what the difference is if they are not getting reimbursed the double amount either way. I have always heard that the only reason that the coupons say do not double is so that the store understands that if they do double that coupon they will not be getting paid the doubled amount from the manufacturer. You could just be dealing with a non coupon friendly store, cashier, manager, etc….
I know that a lot of things are different at my store than I see on here, though. My store does not base the $25.00 on shelf price. The $25.00 has to be after all store sales, and before any coupons.
