Update: Turns out that some stores are offering this for two days, today and tomorrow, while others are only doing it today. You really need to double check with your local Perkins.
It might be late notice today, but participating Perkins restaurants are giving away a short stack of pancakes to every customer today and tomorrow. Offer is good from 6am to 11am. No coupon needed.
Call your local Perkins to see if they are participating. The manager I just spoke with said all corporate-owned Perkins’ are participating as well as many franchised locations, but some franchises have opted out. For my neighbors, the one on Hemlock Lane in Maple Grove, MN is in.
If I had to guess, this is an attempt to compete with Denny’s free grand slam last week? Which, by the way, was fabulously delicious and came to us in unlimited quantities. They gave a free one to my 1-year old and offered the adults a second one if we wanted.

Just called Fridley -they participated but it’s only today 2/15, not tomorrow.

Interesting. Now I have to assume that some stores are doing it one day and others are doing it for two days because the first store I called said two days and the second one I called said one day.
Not knowing this was going on, we went to Perkin’s this morning as there is no school and my husband and I are off. We got our normal breakfast plus each of us got a short stack and then just asked for a box to take them home. The girls will have pancakes for breakfast a couple of times this week for free! They do ask for a small donation (can’t remember what charity but it is for kids). They don’t push that though, it is just written on signs. The Perkin’s we went to in Vadnais Heights was only doing this for President’s Day.
called a few Perkins in Minneapolis and Bloomington and it was only for the 15th of Feb.
Chan, Shak, Chaska and Edina were all today and not participating tomorrow. Bummer. Maybe I will make them for dinner, sounds so yummy now.
