This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Edit: I (Carrie) added two more deals and re-posted it since Laura put this together earlier this afternoon.

Here are a few new local deals for readers in the Twin Cities area.

2-for-1 for Rickie Lee Jones. Use the code DOTDEAL for buy one, get one free tickets when you order online from Ticketmaster (value $18.50). Concert is Monday, February 22 at 7:30 pm in the Fitzgerald Theater.

Star Tribune Home Delivery. After I (Carrie) shared that you get more and higher value coupons from a home delivered paper than a newsstand paper, I’m happy to report this new coupon code. Use code FSI ID51 to get the Sunday Star Tribune delivered for $0.99 for 26 weeks.

Women’s Clothing Swap. Bring women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories to the La Quinta Inn in St. Paul on February 20 from 1-4:30pm. Cost is $10 payable to the Twin Cities Clothing Swap Meetup group. Register and pay online via Paypal by February 19.

Omnifest at the Science Museum . Order tickets by phone at 651-221-9444 and use the code STAR TRIBUNE to get 2-for-1 tickets. This offer is valid through February 25 for any two Omnifest films at the Science Museum that start at 6pm or later. Just to clarify: you’ll get to see two different films for the price of one, not get two tickets for the price of one.

McDonald’s. Ask at your local McDonald’s to see if they are selling a coupon book for $1.00. Coupons in the book will expire March 31 and include the following:

  • 3 coupons for Free Small Apple Juice or Milk Jug
  • 3 coupons for Free Bag of Apple Dippers or Small French Fries
  • 3 coupons for Free Small Cone
  • 2 coupons for Free Hamburger
  • 1 coupon for Small McCafé Coffee

If you can find this coupon book, it sounds like a great way to take your kids out for a very inexpensive snack!
**Note: Other non-local readers may find this coupon book at their local McDonald’s, too. It doesn’t hurt to check!

Your turn: Did you find the coupon book at your local McDonald’s?

I called around to several stores in the Fort Worth, Texas area, but no one had them. If someone finds information about locating the stores, I would be interested to find out.

Thanks, Carrie and Laura, for some wonderful help with offers and stretching our dollars! Thanks for a great website!

Does anyone have a coupon for Babies R Us that they would be willing to share?? Looking for a 20 or 25% off coupon for a stroller/travel system for my daughter's 1st baby! Thanks.

RE: StarTrib coupon. I received a similar offer by mail. When I called I asked about the price for 52 weeks and was offered 99 cents per week for Sunday for a whole year if I paid for the whole year now. :-)

Wow – you got lucky. I called just last week and offered to pay for 52 weeks for this deal and the customer service person said no she could only do it for 26.

Does anybody know if the Star Trib delivered to St. Cloud has the same coupons as those delivered to the Metro area? It seems like if you're not in the Metro area, you get a watered down version of the coupon inserts.
