count me in the minority who thinks that freebies to select groups is not what i’m looking for when i use this site.

many things come with restrictions, limitations, etc., but when target markets are the intended recipients of freebies, that to me isn’t a freebie, and i’d rather not see those mixed in. granted, there’s not many of those, but it’s no longer a freebie if only some of us are allowed access.

suggestion: identify your postings of freebiz offers as magazine offers that are for select demographics. i’ll pay more attention next time to the posting, perhaps it’s obvious and i’m just not paying attention before i click the link and begin the hoop jumping.

When FreeBiz offers magazines they only give them to people of select demographics. That means sometimes certain occupations can’t/won’t be eligible. As long as everyone is honest about what they do, then FreeBiz has and uses mechanisms to ensure that their magazines are going to the people they want.

the point wasn’t disinterest, the point was that it’s a freebie for a target market, allegedly. perhaps it’s not, perhaps they don’t care if you’re a teacher, homemaker, doctor, postal carrier or library security guard.

if it’s for a select audience, then it’s not really what i expect from pocket your dollars. that’s the point, but i have come to expect people to miss the point around here.

I subscribed to this magazine when I was a cheerleader in jr high and high school.
I am now going to get the free subscription and my daughters will absolutely LOVE it!

I agree with Erin. They are great learning tools with colorful pics and wholesome articles for the younger teen. I appreciate all of the possible mag offers PYD tells us about and then I can choose from there.

I am a mother and childcare provider. The magazine itself may not be aimed at me, but is very useful to teach the children various skills. The majority of the children I care for are 4 and 5 years old and will enjoy these pictures very much.

Personally, I would like any magazine I do not have to “pay” for.

This was too funny not to look at further. I have noticed a few of these “free magazine” offers are trade publications intended for people affiliated with the industry. I’d rather not see these offers on your site. When I see something that is free listed on your site, I assume that’s free to all of us. Magazine offers like this are certainly not aimed at the majority of us here.
