This is a week to stock up on fruit snacks if your kids eat them. With an unadvertised deal where you get money off your next purchase for buying so many, you can get them for under $0.10 per box.
You may notice that some of the coupons mentioned in this list are expired. That is because Cub stores accept coupons up to 3 months past their expiration date (and in some cases up to 5 or 6 months past). If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, then learn to read this shopping list. If you are having issues, troubleshoot problems printing coupons here.
Your turn: What other deals did you get this week at Cub?

Bumblebee Tuna is free if you use the $1/2 from inserts a few weeks ago – sorry I can’t remember which insert, but I think it was from 2/21 inserts. I bought four cans for $1.96 and was able to use two $1/2 to get four cans free plus $.04 off my remaining groceries.
according to the add the ad that variety is not part of the sale? I’m going later today so I will verify Megan’s results. *fingers crossed*
That type is not included & is over $2 a can.
I thought I verified it was the right type (it was the third coupon of the Bumbleebee Tuna coupons in the insert).
OK, thanks, Kari!
I did the fruit snacks deal yesterday & it worked like a charm. I bought 5, used various coupons, and received the $3.50 OYNO.
Also picked up Fisher fish sticks at $2.48 & used the .75/1 coupon.
Cub also has a $5 coupon off a $50 order. I used that & ended up saving 61% on my entire order.
Can you tell me where to find the $5 off coupon for Cub?
Jamie, I found it on afullcup.com and someone made it into a pdf. But they did say it was available on the Cub website as well.
Thank You :)
Carrie- is it “unethical” to use a pdf for this type of cpn?
thanks
I received mine in the mail. I did some checking and Cub, indeed, has a printable version. It doesn’t show up in all the various store sites at CubFoods.com, but it works for all stores. Follow these directions for a generic Cub Foods $5.00 off $50 coupon good until 3/6. (found at another website)
1. Go to the Cub Website
2. Type in 55330 for the zip code (Elk River) (don’t know why that one works, but it does)
3. Click on Search
4. Click on weekly ads to the lower right side
5. Towards the bottom, you will see “Popular Weekly Ad items”
6. Click on the FIRST $5 off of $50 coupon link you see
7. Then click on “add to list” in the coupon description
8. To the right you will see your shopping list with your coupon in it.
9. Go to the bottom of the shopping list and click on “print your list”
10. It will print out your coupon
Follow the same procedure next week for that coupon. Any pdf made of this coupon would be just fine.
I got 4 $5 off $50 order q’s in the mail, “snail” mail. You can use one each week, this week being the third of the four weeks. I live in Elk River, I don’t know if these were mailed in select areas or what. I have heard others also commenting, on PYD, about these q’s.
Thanks for all the match ups! I’m sending this along to a few other people in my family.
I couldn’t get the link for the Horizon milk to work. I’ll try going to their website to sign up tht way
The $5 off $50 coupon is in PDF form toward the bottom of this page:

Do you have to spend $50 after sale and coupons to use it, or regular price?
Hope this works….
here is a lean cuisine printable for $1 off $4

I couldn’t find the $5 off – can anyone help?
I went to cub.com and put in zip 55330. The weekly ad pops up as an option. Choose the weekly ad connection. Once that pops up, at the bottom of the page are 3 $5 off $50 purchase coupons. They look like weekly coupons, so it appears there are 2 weeks left. Just check the dates on the coupons before printing. Seems to work. Have PLU numbers on coupons, so should work. Let’s hope.
Edy’s Fruit Bars: it seems to be that the $1 coupon is applicable to ice cream only as it says$1 off 1.5 qts. and I don’t think you buy fruit bars in quarts?
There is a Danimals coupon in the 2/7 SS as well
Found the $5 off $50 coupon on the cub foods website. Use elk rivers zip code
(Thanks usb)

If anyone is having trouble getting the $5 off $50 coupon email me and I can email you the PDF of it. carchick@mail.com
Are the fruit roll-ups or fruit by the foot included in the sale & the catalina? I have a $1/2 q from a mailing I would like to use. TIA
yes, they are !
I just did the fruit snack thing, I got 3 fruit shapes and 2 fruit snacks. There were shelf signs that said $1.50 off next order if you bought 3 boxes, so I wasn’t sure it would work but I had faith and bought the 5 boxes and voila, a $3.50 off my next order printed! Thanks Carrie!
oops I meant to say I bought 3 fruit shapes and 2 fruit roll-ups.
Do you think if we launch an email campaign to CUB we could get them to offer a double coupon day like Rainbow?????
That would be awesome if Cub would do double coupon day! My nearest Rainbow is about 20 minutes away and I debate every week if it is worth the drive/time to go there.
I think that’s a great idea. I have to believe CUB is really suffering from Rainbow’s double coupon business. I would love to somehow get a campaign going for that.
Julie W
On one hand that would be great and on the other there is a reason I don’t shop at Rainbow and especially on Wed. or now Sat. when they double, there are always out of stuff and that is too frustrating for me. So to have a place to go to where 99 percent of the time they have what I want I would hate to give that up!
The Betty Crocker fruit snack catalina did not work today. Nothing came out at all. The manager did give me the $1.50 because the sign says that but not the $3.50 I wanted to get since I purchased 5. What a bummer!
Julie – Thanks. I made a note on the list that this deal might have expired. Can anyone else chime in with their experience?
I did the fruit snack deal (5 boxes) twice at the Cub in Elk River this afternoon. It printed out the $3.50 cat both times.
I also did the fruit snack deal today and it worked great. I bought 5 boxes and received a catalina for $3.50 off my next order. A few weeks ago I received a catalina that advertised this deal, it says:
“Receive a coupon to save up to $3.50 when you buy General Mills fruit shapes, fruit by the foot, fruit gushers, fruit roll-ups, or fruit stickerz on your next shopping order.” Purchase dates between 2/22 & 3/21, buy 3 & get $1.50…or buy 4 & get $2.50…or buy 5 and 5 or more and get $3.50 coupon off your next order.
I went to Maple Grove Cub and they have tons in stock. Great deal!!
Im new to the site and love it. However, may I ask, how long does it take your girls (and a few guys) to make your list, research and find coupon and then print them out. I am wondering if it gets a little quicker. Also, when you print coupons, do they all come out on seperate papers. Thanks for any input. Jaime
It does get easier and less time consuming once you do it a few times… I usually spend one full “naptime” organizing my lists, and finding the right coupons… all in all I probably spend a good 2 hours a week.
Does CUB accept their own coupons that are expired or manufacturer coupons that are expired or both?
Only manufacturer coupons.
And I discovered yesterday that they don’t take expired Mfg coupons if the mfg coupon was printed in the Cub ad.
Just went to Cub today (rare out of state trip took me right by) and got 24 boxes of BC Fruit Snacks. End price was less than 0.24 per box (most of the transactions were 0.80 for 5 boxes!). Thanks SO much for the heads up on that one. Plus thanks for the $5/50 link!
I’m LOVING the self checkouts. Wish my stores had those………
I did the Fruit Snack deal this evening and got the $3.50 Catalina.
I also did the fruit snack deal on Friday night and got the $3.50 catalina!
Thanks!!
Just got 20 boxes of fruit snacks for $3.21 out of pocket! WOW!
I noticed at Cub yesterday that Earthgrains bread was onsale for $1.98! I think it is normally around $4 a loaf, plus I had a .55 coupon. That is a great deal for this bread.
