TurboTax Freedom Edition: File Your Taxes for Free (with qualification)

TurboTax is offering free online tax preparation if you meet one of the following qualifications:

  • your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) was $31,000 or less
  • you were Active Duty Military in 2009 with an AGI of $57,000 or less
  • you qualify for the Earned Income Credit (EIC)

In addition, if you qualify and live in one of the following states, you can also file your state taxes for free: AL, AR, AZ, GA, IA, ID, KY, MI, MN, MO, MS, NY, NC, ND, OK, OR, RI, SC, VT, or WV.

    i just did it…this is the fist time that i have done my taxes by myself and this was so easy it took me a little bit but it was so easy no adding or subtracting for me :) thanks for putting this up here i hope they do it every year haha

    On turbo tax last year me and my husband is filing together joinly.along with our 3 daughters just this year I started late and I need it to go back to the same date I filed last years so how could u do that for me I have the timefrom last years can u go and make it back that way
