Here’s another way to earn points online through RecycleBank. If you’re new to RecycleBank, learn about how RecycleBank works.
To earn up to 300 points, just follow these steps:
- Sign up for an account with Kashless, a free online classified ad service similar to Craiglist. The difference is that on this website, everything is offered for FREE.
- After registering, check your email for a link to confirm your account.
- Once you confirm your email address, login to Kashless and click on the “Rewards” tab at the top of the page. Link your RecycleBank account by entering your RecycleBank password.
- Click on the “Saved Searches” tab and you’ll be able to start saving searches.
- You’ll get 20 points for the first search you save and 10 additional points for every subsequent search, up to 300 points total per week.
- The points that you earn each week will show up in your RecycleBank account within 24 hours.
You can earn up to 300 RecycleBank points total through Kashless each week, so if you come back every week and complete 30 new searches, you’ll really rack up the points. I had a tough time thinking of 30 things to search for in the first place, but I’m still really looking forward to using this resource.
UPDATE: Apparently Kashless has changed this deal so that you earn 5 points for the first saved search you make and then 0 points for each additional search. Learn how to earn points through Kashless.

Thanks, Hip2Save!

I joined this site several weeks ago and just love it!
I am working on being a better recycler, and this site has been helpful. I have to admit that saving money motivates to do better for our planet.
Laura, I logged in this morning with the intention of doing more searches, and the points I thought I earned last week are not there (but the searches are). I spent my previous weeks points last week (they were a week old then) but didn’t seem to gain any more. Have you been getting up to 300 new points a week, week after week, for searches?
Cindy, I just logged into my account and found that about half of my points credited one week, and half a week later. Not sure why that is. I’m going to try to save some more searches now and will let you know what happens.
OK, Cindy, apparently they’ve changed it so you can no longer earn points through saved searches. Bummer!
