Local Interest: Free Punch Pizza (1/25 Only)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Update: A reader called a Punch Pizza and was told that this is only good for dinner tonight which word has it starts at 5 pm, although I don’t see a specific timeframe listed on the coupon .

The only upside of the Vikings losing tonight is that Punch Pizza is giving away free pizza tomorrow (1/25) to help ward off the football blues. Print this coupon-like thing from Flickr, bring it to any Punch Pizza location and enjoy pizza on the house.

Your turn: What other football-related deals and freebies are out there right now?

  2. Liz says:

Note: This is only good for dinner and not lunch =( I just called the Stadium Village Punch to clarify.

  3. Liz says:

On the coupon it says —One Night Only—. I called Punch to get clarification and was told the coupon is only good for dinner. (That was Stadium Village, though, so maybe other Punches are allowing it?). Not sure on what they consider dinner time though…

  4. Jennifer says:

I just went to the Wayzata Punch Pizza and they said the coupon is good after 4:00 pm only. They did give in and give me a free one, but I would advise others to just go after 4:00 pm. Yumm!

  5. carrie says:

I didn’t have Jennifer’s same luck at the Punch on Grand- they were actually a little rude about it. We couldn’t find anything on the coupon or website specifying the time, so I think it’s kind of unfair of them, especially since we made a special trip out. I guess I should have called first.

Thanks for posting this, anyway though

  6. Kim says:

You were lucky. They wouldn’t give in for me,and were very rude to me,guess they just lost a customer.

  7. carrie says:

not to drag on the complaints, but one last thing:

did anyone else also have experience with Punch’s email response? I emailed after getting home, and they were quick to reply, but were also rude, only saying: “I didn’t realize ‘tonight only’ was ambiguous”. No apology or explanation or anything.

  8. Jessie says:

any one know if you have to dine in?

  9. Mandi says:

I just called Grand location – Dine in or Take out (except Highland location, dine in only) starts at 5:00 pm.

  10. Jessie says:

I love our E.P punch!! They are going to let me in early (doenst start until 5) called it in and will have it waiting for me!!

  11. Cath says:

Punch tweeted today that it starts at 5pm, though yes, they did say “one night only” and lunch isn’t at night, so…

I for one LOVE that Punch is so incredibly generous with their pizzas. NO OTHER local chain offers deals as great and as often as they do.

I came onto the comments to encourage people to buy when they are there despite the fact that the pizza is free- upgrade your ‘za, indulge in a glass of wine, that kind of thing, so that Punch will continue their generosity. Instead, I find people complaining about the details of the freebie. It’s disheartening.

  12. Jessie says:

Picked up my pizza and it was so great and nice, They are so sweet at E.P. I am going to send a thank you comment to them. Thanks carrie-untechincally dinner was on you tonight. Do wish i could have stayed and had that glass of wine though.

  13. Sally says:

    It was nummy!! Thanks!

  14. Cindy says:

I drove by the NE Mpls Punch and there was a line outside of about 50 people. I think a lot of people have “the blues”!

  15. Angie says:
