I’ve used this twice already – great for such a cold month!
Woohoo! :-) I need gas soon, so I think I’ll try out this coupon. Like Priscilla said, what a good month for a FREE hot beverage. Since Cub stopped their gas coupon relationship w/ Holiday (or vice-versa, who knows), I’ve not been to that station. This gives me new motivation (albeit, temporarily) to return.
I think cub gave it up since people wanted lower prices not lower gas prices. That was what I was told from an employee.
I heard there were Holiday gas coupons in the Thursday, 12/31, paper.
Is it for real that cub gave up holiday gas?
There are some Cubs around the area that now have their own little gas station, like Costco, Sams and Fleet Farm do. I passed one about a week ago, but forgot where it was.
I’m so happy to see this! My coffeemaker just died and I was hoping for a Holiday coffee freebie this month!
Tabby — I read that too, on startribune.com just before the end date of the deal, maybe a month ago. I think it was a Cub exec who said (in online piece) that they wanted to give their customers lower prices on Cub items.
I love lower-priced groceries. But I’m not as good at remembering coupons as I should be (working on improvement). The gas coupons were usually the only ones I *always* remembered. I look forward to my free hot beverages all month, though. Hey, side note: Does anyone know if Holiday would allow you to dispense your hot beverage into your own “stay hot” travel mugs? Thanks!
You can print 5 cent off gas coupons on Holiday’s web site anytime. http://www.holidaystationstores.com. Click on “Save on Gas” on the bottom of the page.
Sue — Thanks a bunch! Awesome. :-)
Kathleen ~ I believe you can bring in your own mug – most of mine are 16oz though.
Sarah Beth — Thanks! I’m set to buy gas today, so I’ll give it a try. Hmm, now, what to choooose for my free hot drink? :-)
That gas coupon is awesome! I have two standby options at Holiday for my purchase if I’m not getting gas. A banana for $0.25 if I’m feeling healthly or on the weekends the breakfast sandwhiches are $1. Anyone else have a cheap option?
Sue…thanks so much for sharing that coupon/tip!
The coupon states that it’s not valid with other coupons or offers. Has anyone used the coffee coupon and a gas coupon at the same time?
