Axe Products–I have two old $1.50/1 Axe showe gels (I am sorry I canot remember where I got them from, I believe it was a sports magazine last month) so makes final cost for the shower gel $2 each which is excellent for Axe. I am sure a google search can find some cpns somewhere.

  2. Rhonda D says:

Here is a coupon for $1/1 Axe shower gel or detailer tool: http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=14696&nid=20&zid=nh28

  3. mary says:

The Oust is L6 single cans,I used the B1G1F coupons from the 1/3 ss to get 3 free and 18 $ ECB back.

  4. carrie says:

has anyone in the Twin Cities gotten the soyjoy deal to work? I can never find the 6pk boxes, and the single bars didn’t seem to be on sale when I was at the CVS on Grand this morning (based on the shelf sign, and self-scanner – I didn’t actually try it at the register because I didn’t want to hold up the line or go through the hassle of returning them if they weren’t really 5/$1).

I’d love to hear from anyone who is able to find the $6 boxes, or actually got 10 bars to ring up as $2.

  5. Pam says:

I found the $6 boxes of SoyJoy on an endcap by the pharmacy in the Delano store. They weren’t with the rest of the the bars. Don’t know if the other stores are set up the same way. I’ve never tried them before, so thought the spend $6, get $6 ECB was just the ticket. Only bought one box until I figure out if someone will like them.

  6. Joe says:

Pam – I found the same thing in the EP CVS – way away from the rest of the healthy(?) snacks. Limit was 3 so bought 1 to see what they taste like. I know I have seen coupons for them so if anyone knows let me know as $6 with $6 EB back would like to get paid more to try them ;-))

  7. Cath says:

When you are pricing the item on the price check computer in the store, it doesn’t take into account the “Extra Care Card” savings, i.e. CVS’s “clipless coupons.” Even if the box of SoyJoy says $7.50, and pricechecks at this, it will come down to $6 during the transaction assuming your cashier scans your EC card.

    Good luck!

  8. Katie says:

Hit CVS today. I had the cashier do a price check on the single soy joy and they are $1.29 each. She even did 5 to see if it would go to 5 for $1 and it did not. So, I was unable to get that deal and I had 3-$2 off 10 coupons :-(

I did however get the 6 ct. box. There is a limit of 3 per household as the sign state so unsure how you are able to get 6 deals. I went back around with my $12 ECBs I earned from buying the soy joys and the Oust and bought 2 more boxes of soy joys and got another $12 ECBs. That was a fun transaction, no $$ due.

  9. Kris says:

Hi – Just a heads up that the $5 ecb with $15 P&G products is not working if you mix and match the products (such as Herbal Essences and Cover Girl). You’ll have to point it out to the cashier that the ad says $15 worth of P&G and he or she will have to force-print the $5 ecb. Also the Cover Girl mascara at my CVS is ringing full price instead of $6.

  10. Dawn says:

Does anyone know if the Johnson Rebate items have to be purchased on one transaction or can you have multiple places. I can’t read the small print.
    Thanks,
    Dawn

  11. Sue says:

    Mary,
How did you get $18 ECB on the Oust? I thought it was a limit of 3, which would make the maximum ECB $9. Did you make the purchase all on one transaction?

  12. Joe says:

    Carrie- Thanks for your website!!!
Here is my shopping trip Sunday at CVS.

2 -375 ct Qtips B1G1Free (each had a 40 cent coupon on them.)
    2 -120 count Vitamin D Nature Boutny B1G1Free Rcvd $3ECB and had 2 – $1/1 Q’s
    2 Axe Body wash 2/$10 – get $3 ECB and 2- $1.50/1 coupons
3 extra gums 3/$3 get $1ECB and has $1/3 coupon
1 soy joy bar 6pk – get $6 ECB (omg these taste terrible I put them in the food shelf box at work)
1 Outlast mouthwash get $1 ECB + 75 cent coupon
    1 3pk (24 ct)Tums $2.99 (used an ECB coupokon from the machine $4 off 24ct -higher)
1 Aquafresh extreme clean TP ($2.49) $1.00 coupon + $1.50ECB coupon from machine

Just a heads up on this, if the cashier knows there were EB, they will not do the return unless you hand back the EB. This will soon be showing up on the receits next to the sale price that you received the Extra Buck and you will not be aloud to do the return without the EB slip attached to the receipt.

    PS. I work there.

    • Carrie Rocha says:

Rachel – The pomade I bought was from a salon elsewhere that I am returning, but good to know that they are implementing a better return system for ECBs. That’s how Menards returns work when there is a rebate associated with an item.

  14. Shannon says:

I have Soy Joy coupons I will trade for Celestial Seasonings Tea Coupons.

  15. Kierstien says:

Does anyone know what a good price on toilet paper is? Like per roll, whats a good price? Thanks!

  16. colleen says:

What is this scanner thing people have talked about that gives coupons? Ok, obviously by the deription I know what it is! What I meant is where are they located? I looked for one at the rosemount and apple valley locations and couldn’t find it. I’ve been known to miss the obvious so I’m sure it’s right in plain sight! Thanks!

    • Barb says:

Colleen: The scanner for Apple Valley CVS is right on the path to the pharmacy. It is a tan box that allows you to price check as well. Just scan your card and it prints out some coupons. Today I got free Kotex liners, shelf price $1.49, coupon was for liners or pads $1.50 off.

  17. colleen says:

    thanks barb!

  18. joe says:

CVS -ECB ???? I thought I knew ECB backwards and forwards. If you buy an item online that has ECB do you get them or is ECB only in – store? Thanks
