They also still have some Christmas Glade items left, so bring any glade coupons you might have.
I can’t find the Jenny-O coupon in yesterday’s smartsource….help??
Peppers in my ad were 2/$3. Is it different for others?
Peppers are $1.50 each, according to my paper. You’re right Nate.
colgate toothpaste is free in $1 off coupon in ALLYOU magezine. December issue
Tony,
The Jenni-O coupon was in the previous week’s insert.
Thank you Susie!!
Please specify which smartsource has the Jenny O coupon.
The 1/3 SS had the Jennie-O coupon. I just stocked up and there was a ton left.
There are a bunch of Colgate coupons $1/1, some current- some expired; look for them in the past few months coupon inserts. I was able to get 9 free boxes of toothpaste this morning.
Do you happen to know WHICH TYPES were included in the sale??
Trying to register for the Hostess coupon and it’s telling me there are no active coupons at this time. Anyone else having this problem?
My CUB ad has pork for $1.00/lb. To me that is a great price, but I don’t see it on the list. Am I missing something? Or is a local CUB only? (I live in Brooklyn Park and shop the CUB on Colorado)
Julie
Yesterday when I went to get the ground turkey they were already out of it. I was bummed since I’m won’t have time to pick it up later this week and I forgot to get the raincheck.
Great deal on the Arnold bread! Those coupons are so rare!
I wish I had more of the Jennie-O coupons, I only have 1 left!
I was told by the Cambridge Cub that they the manufacturer (not just the store) was out of the turkey, so it may be awhile before we get to redeem our rainchecks.
I might suggest that the Hefty One Zip coupon is not one that is doubled at Cub, but may belong on the Rainbow list. Your thoughts?
Hefty OneZip Bags $1.49
Use $1/1 coupons from 8/30 Red Plum or 9/27 Red Plum inserts
Final price: $0.49 after doubled coupon
Does anyone know exactly which types of Colgate are included in the sale?
Susan,
I think that “doubled” was just an added word. The sale price is $1.49, the coupon is valued at $1.00, so the price is .49 after the coupon is applied. I got that deal last week!
Dana and Susan – Yep, after typing “after doubled coupon” a bazillion times for the Rainbow list I zoned out and inadvertantly added it to the Cub list. It’s fixed now :)
I posted a meal plan using a bunch of these sale items at my website: http://www.betweengirl.com/2010/01/foodblogging-its-time-for-meal-plan.html
Our Knollwood Cub had just run out of ground turkey when I went after work earlier; but they think they’ll get more in tomorrow morning. The meat manager actually came and found me in another section of the store to tell me that news – reminding me of how much I’ve always like my Cub store! But they were also happy to give me a coupon in case I don’t make it back in time.
Secondly – I came across a GREAT deal at our Cub. They had double packs of extra large shaving cream in that part of the store, and I’m guessing they were left from the holidays or something. But, they are selling them for $1 per double pack, and they’re extra large “can’s anyway. Two scents of the women’s shaving cream and there is also a men’s. Pure Silk is the brand if you’re not brand picky and need shaving cream, it’s a bargain!
Does anyone know if the Lakeville Cub still has turkey in stock?
Sarah Beth,
I just bought 13 Colgate toothpastes and 6 toothbrushes for $3. using all the 1. and .75 coupons I’ve been saving. The coupons were for a few different varieties, sensitive, etc, but they all worked. I had planned to give back a tube for each coupon that didn’t work but they all went through without a hitch. Happy, happy!
Carrie-
This link has two $1.00 coupons each for toothpaste and a toothbrush.
http://www.colgate.com/app/Colgate/US/Corp/Consumers/SpecialOffers.cvsp
You can no longer print these colgate coupons, they are over their limit.
And Aquafresh coupons here:
http://www.aquafresh.com/Savings.aspx
My store was out of the Aquafresh toothbrushes, so I got a raincheck for them.
Also the Mission tortillas had been pulled by Mission, so they had none & I got a raincheck for them as well.
Jennie-O ground turkey was out, but they were substituting Festival brand ground turkey for the same price & the coupons were good to use for it as well.
This was at the Forest Lake, MN store
Hi,
Eagan Cub had plenty of turkey.
Priscilla,
Why were they pulling the Mission tortillas? I bought mine already and was wondering if you meant there was a health issue or ? The packages of tortillas also have a $.55 off peelie. :)
Susie, I was looking everywhere for the tortillas & finally asked an employee. He said that Mission had a problem with them (not sure what problem) and pulled the product. I asked if they were substituting & he said no because it wasn’t a stocking issue, but a mfg issue. So I picked up a raincheck to get them at a later date.
Just had to brag about my great score at Cub tonight – got 7 bottles of Ken’s salad dressing FREE after scrounging up 7 SS inserts from family/friends and using the $2/1 coupon. So, I got the 7 dressings and a pound of baby carrots for $.93!
The St. Cloud West Cub had substituted the Honeysuckle White turkey for the Jenny-O so I couldn’t use the coupon, but it was still a good deal. Peppers at this store were 2/$3, still less than usual, but I was so disappointed in them not being 50 cents! Campbell’s Soups were running low on a few flavors, but they gave me a raincheck.
I shopped the Crystal Cub yesterday to use up my expired Walgreens register rewards and they were out of the turkey and were not substituting as of yet. I picked up the Cub coupon booklet while I was there and noticed some possibly good deals. Since, I’m heading to another Cub to get the turkey or a raincheck, I thought I’d try them out.
Spam (12oz can) – 1.69 (limit 4) – B1G1 from 1/10 SS; .85 each
Finish or Quantum Dish Detergent (12-20 ct pkg) – $2.99 (limit 1) – $2.50/1 from 1/3 SS; .49 each
Here’s the interesting thing about the Finish coupon: I bought a Star Tribune early Sunday edition and the coupon was either $1 off a small size or $2.50 of a medium – ‘Choose Your Savings’. However, the coupon I received in the Sunday paper that I have delivered was $2.50 off any size.
Ugh, unfortunately those toothpaste coupons do not coincide with what’s on sale, for me anyway.
(I’m referring to the links.)
I agree. I looked through all my coupons (since August) and they are all for Colgate Total, Colgate Max, or Colgate Sensitive. None of which are included in the sale. I cannot with good conscience intentionally use a coupon for a different item than what is listed – even if Cub would take it.
I just got back from the Maple Grove Cub and they had a good supply of the turkey left–even after I took my eight =) The Spam deal I was hoping to score was a no go. I realized at the store that it is for single serving Spam – who knew there was such a thing? The Aquafresh toothbrush coupons didn’t match the variety, so no free toothbrushes. But, I was able to get the Finish Powerball tabs 20-pk for .49!
Whats some good recipes to use the ground turkey for that everyone is stocking up on?
I use ground turkey in almost any of my ground beef recipes and no one in my family really notices that much of a difference. Lasagna, Hamburger Helpers, Turkey meatloaf, etc.
Chili, spaghetti…sometimes if I think there might be a bit of a taste or texture discrepancy, I’ll use a pound of burger and a pound of ground turkey in a double recipe. My family has never complained.
Rachel Ray has an awesome “Stuffed Pepper Stoup” recipe on her website (not Food Network). It says you can use ground beef or turkey. Everyone I’ve given the recipe to loves it!
The Woodbury Cub had a pretty good supply of the ground turkey, however they didn’t have any of the minute maid juices left.
VC- I just started using ground turkey, so I’m not accustomed to the taste yet. It does taste different than hamburger, however I mix it 50/50 with hamburger. Tastes just fine in any hamburger recipe I have.
CUB IN FOREST LAKE HAS PUREX 3 IN 1 SHEETS FOR $3.99
There is an expired Swiss Miss cocoa coupon in the 11/15 SS for 50 cents off 2 so if you buy 2 and use this coupon they would be down to 75 cents each. Hope that helps someone – I’m a big cocoa fan in the winter time!
Is it true that Smartsource coupons are no longer being accepted?
I haven’t experienced that. Why wouldn’t they be accepted?
Campbells soup question: Does anyone know if this includes cream of mushroom soup???
Thanks
Kierstien
Ok by the ad it looks like cream soups are included…being hopefull! BUt I found another valubale cpn $1 when you buy 4 making the soups .75ea! http://www.campbellkitchen.com/coupon.aspx HTH! Off to shopping! excited hoping to spend close to nothing and get lots of great food!
Cub has Beech Nut Baby food for .39 cents per jar. There was a $2 off coupon in the 1/3 SS. Someone asked about variety of Beech Nut on the open mic – Cub Shakopee has TONS.
Boo! Lakeville cub had a limit of 2 on the turkey so i’ll have to go back. but was happy that my total was $73.XX then gave my coupons and total was $29.XX wohoo. But bad thing is i checked my reciept and think I got charged $1.80 too much. GRRR 2nd time in a row got charged TOO much. I’ll have to call tomorrow and check or just go in since I forgot bread.
Cub had Pepsi Products on sale for $1.88 each till Saturday. Great time to stock up. Limit is 4.
i thought its was on sale till sunday?!?! is that right or wrong? thanks!
Sales go thru Saturday. New sale on Sunday Kierstien.
Does anybody know if Cub would accept $1 off Pepsi Target pop coupon?
Does anybody know if Cub would accept $1 off Pepsi Target pop coupon?
My Eagan Cub changed the posting of the 1.88 12 packs of Pepsi products to a 4 Day Sale lasting until Sunday. Only 7.52 for 4!
Great week shopping at Cub. I was able to use a lot of my coupons that expired in October this week on things I needed in addition to the sale items. I used 47 coupons and saved a total of $64.36. The guy behind me in line was looking a little annoyed until the coupons were approaching $50 when he just started looking amazed. He looked at me and said “Wow, it really pays to clip all those coupons!” Had to get rain checks for the ground turkey, sausage links and bread.
