Personally, we buy my husband’s dress shirts and ties, wedding gifts (I love their crystal pieces), tennis shoes, and bedding at TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. They gave me a $25 gift card for hosting this giveaway that I plan to use alongside some store credit I have from a return toward an area rug for my dining room.

Hi Carrie, I would give the gift card to my daughter, she is a teacher in a very low income school. She is always buying clothes, hats and gloves for her kids, I help as much as I can. Some of the kids come to school hungry and cold, thank god for school breakfast and lunch. Hard times for lots of good hard working familys, the gift card would come in handy on these very cold days. Thank you for helping so many people, every little bite of savings is great!
Their regular discounted prices are great. But, I LOVE their after holiday sales! You never know what awesome bargain you will find!

I, like so many others, am unempolyed currently and am only able to get clothing at Joseph’s Coat which has a limited selection since it is a donation site. I would like to apply for the TJ Maxx gift card. If I were to win the gift card I would use it to buy my daughter a new pair of boots. We are struggling to “make ends meet” and could really use the gift this year. My husband has been out of work for over two years and every month has been a challenge just to pay the mortgage. This morning, as I was sending my kids off to school I realized that we did not have a pair of boots for my daughter to wear. So, I took out last years boots and shoved her feet in those and sent her out the door (they’re a size too small)! I would feel very blessed to receive a gift card to purchase a new pair of boots so she would have warm and comfortable boots for our cold Minnesota season. I would use it to buy my boyfriends daughter a birthday present. My boyfriend and I bought her tickets to go see beauty and the beast at the ordway and then found out that her mom bought her tickets to go and they are the night before the tickets we bought. So we can’t give her those and I need to figure out something else for her birthday.
We love Marshalls for their name brand shoes for our 3 fashion-savvy boys! Seems like they wear out shoes so fast!
