After week-upon-week of great deals, this week’s 4-day sale is a little slow.
The best bet is a $5 Register Reward with any $25 purchase running just Wednesday and Thursday, with the $25 being calculated before coupons. Take note though, that the Register Rewards generated today and tomorrow will expire on 12/20, so you need to run around and make another purchase right away.
Heather from NWA Deals shared a great money-maker scenario to take advantage of this:
***Deal idea***
Buy 1 Complete Multipurpose Solution at $7.99
Buy 1 Huggies Diapers at $8.99
Buy 1 Gillette Fusion Razor at $8.99
Use $1/1 Complete Multipurpose Solution coupon from 10/25 Red Plum insert
Use $1.50/1 Huggies Diapers coupon from 11/15 Smart Source insert or $2/1 printable coupon for IE or printable coupon for FF or $2/1 Huggies Pull Ups printable coupon
Use $1/1 Huggies Walgreens coupon from Children’s Activity Book
Use $4/1 Gillette Fusion Razor coupon from 11/29 Procter & Gamble insert
Spend as little as $17.97, get $18.99 in Register Rewards back
Final price: Better than free after coupons and Register Rewards

I keep hearing that the lubriderm is 20% off, but it didn’t ring up that way at my Walgreens and I don’t see it anywhere it the add. Can you help?
Thanks

Carrie – So, there are no other deals added today?
Karen – thanks for the complete coupon link!!
A few more ideas offered here: http://myfrugaladventures.com/category/stores/walgreens/
I think the $5 off $25 RR is only being generated today and tomorrow, not W-Sat like it was last week.
Thanks, Karen!!
Karen – Have you tried this coupon yet? It looks like a coupon for Canada only?? I am not sure though.
The $2 Complete coupon linked above is for Canada ONLY. You may be able to talk a cashier into taking it, but I personally would not, because the store will not be reimbursed, and in the long run this makes retailers less coupon-friendly.
doesn’t look good and I need to roll. Good thing I need other non coupon stuff.
If you have the $5 holiday dollars you cannot use it toward the $25 and get another $5 holiday dollar.
I was not able to use my$2 off on the Complete. I did get some great buys at Walgreens yesterday and this morning. Thanks Carrie for putting all this together for us. I am learning a lot as I go along. The cashiers at Walgreens are usually enthusiastic to see me saving so much money.
Lynn- the lubriderm 20% off ad is on page 24 of walgreens weeklyad.
I went this evening. I did the sonic deal. I received a new sonic toothbrush and two brushes for $19.99, which is a good price for a $80 toothbrush. I also recieved the $5 off the next visit, which was nice so I can use that later. The price of the toothbrush was on sale for $49.99, walgreens had a instore coupon for $10 off, then I think it was Smart Souce 11/29 had a $10 off plus through Sonic web page I recieved another $10 rebate. Plus Sonic had if you but muliple pack you get 19.99 back from them too, they are 24.99 at Walgreens plus $5 off from Smart Source so I will get my 19.99 back.
Friday only there is a “Friends and Family” 15% discount coupon on eligible products (20% off of eligible Walgreens brand). The offer was emailed to me as a member of the Walgreens website.
