**I know that elsewhere on the web folks are talking about a $0.75/1 printable coupon for Kleenex. I am not linking to it because that coupon has clear language on it saying “redeemable at Kmart.” IN my humble opinion that means we should not be using it at Walgreens even though it is a manufacturer-issued coupon. This is different than the manufacturer-issued coupons with a Target logo (since I figured you might ask about that) which do not have wording saying “redeemable at Target.” They simply have a Target logo printed on them.

Does Walgreens accept some expired coupons? The P&G coupons for Nyquil both expired in their respective months.

Expired coupons and multiple RR in same transactions depend on the Walgreen’s. EP on HTC Road will not take more than 1 RR and no expired coupons (Mgr told me no exceptions). SLP Wags on Hw7/Blake has no problem with any coupons. So best to ask first.

To sweeten the Chinet deal a little more, you also get a free 2-liter of coca-cola with the purchase of 2 Chinet products.

I was so frustrated a few weeks back when I stopped at Walgreens and attempted to use a manufacturer coupon with the Target logo on it. The cashier said she couldn’t accept it, but said she’d check with the manager. The manager came up and they both snickered and said, “looks like a Target coupon to me.” The whole experience made me feel belittled and frustrated, but what more could I have done?

Anyone know if Walgreens accepted Register Rewards if they are expired. I don’t know how this happened, but I shopped on the same day and received 4 RR’s: 3 with 12/26 and the last is 12/19! Didn’t see that one had a different date. Anybody have success using expired RR’s?

  6. Sarah Beth

I do not believe you can use expired RRs. I was out $10 for one that expired over Thanksgiving weekend and was so mad at myself – now I be sure to pay close attention and keep them in my purse with the soonest expiration on top. The one that says 12/19 sounds like you spent $25 during one of their promos and got $5 in RR? Those ones expired earlier.

Also, I have used the “Target logo” Coupons at both Walgreens and Rainbow successfully. They are a Manufacturer Coupon and should not be stopped. If you ask them to swipe the coupon I bet it will ring up. A Target Specific coupon probably wouldn’t.

Does anybody know where I can get the Oral-B P&G, Theraflu Smartsource, Nyquil P&G, and CAB printable coupons online with no charges? Thanks.

Has anyone tried to use the Russel Stover coupon from the pick and save ads at Walgreens with the in ad coupon? Wondering if they’ll take it as it is printed on newspaper not regular coupon paper

  9. Mary

Does Walgreens not have a midweek sale this week?

  10. joe

Yes the P&S coupon should work as it is a manufacture coupon just like the rainbow ad.

I have found the same issue whrn I shop at Walgreen’s. They do not give any autonomy to the cashiers and when the manager does finally come up they are usually quite condescending to you.

Our local Walgreens has a policy now that if you use a manufactures coupon to purchase the product the you do not get the RR that was in the ad. And if you buy one item and have both a manufactures coupon and a RR you wish to use, you can only use one or the other not both.

  14. joe

Lornina – I would not patronize the Wags in question – voice your concerns to the manager politely and explain that your business is welcome at CVS of other places without taht hassle. CVS honors coupons and ECB on items and get ECB in return as advertised. Never had any issues with them, but continueal issues at my Wags.

I used an expired Wags RR by mistake and didn’t realize until I got home. It was one of the 5/25 that expired the 20th and I used it on the 23rd.
