These are the best deals I can see this week at Target. I have not included any price matching offers, but would love to hear of any you find.
You may want to take Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy with you to the store in case your cashier needs to see it for themselves.

Thanks to Marcy and Collin for their help compiling some of these deals for us. Pocket Your Dollars is part of BeCentsable’s Grocery Gathering, a compilation of shopping lists for stores nationwide. Carrie- Where is the Aveeno coupon on their website?
I can’t seem to find the Starbucks coupons – anyone know what zip code?
the coffee coupon is for Caribou not starbucks.
I’ve been looking for the spud buds (christmas) for a few weeks and my target (EP) does not carry them. Has anyone found them?
I shop at the EP Target too. I found the Christmas spud buds in the Christmas section with the stocking stuffers. I was there on Thursday and saw some near the checklane too. Good luck.
Might I suggest using the All $2/1 for a full size All Small and Mighty…you’ll pay something out of pocket (usually they’re around $4 depending on sales) and you’ll end up with so much more detergent for the value of the coupon. (There’s rarely $2 All coupons.)
Sally,
I’ve been finding them in my Target in the Christmas section. There is an aisle of toys and there is a Mr. Potato Head with a Santa Hat and beard.
I’ve also found at Fleet Farm they have the 3 little animal spud buds for like $7.89. So you pay another dollar out of pocket – but I think they are adorable!
-Jen
I can’t find the coupons in the PARADE magazines for the games. I looked through both of them. Was anyone else able to find them?
The potato head at my Target is $6.99. Also I used the Kelloggs $5 off of 4 boxes of cereal today along with with a $1 off 2 Rice Krisp and $1.50 off 2 Corn Flakes. All online printables.
The BOGO card game coupon expired 11/30.
Angela – I’ll update the list, but some Target stores accept expired coupons (for sure the one in Maple Grove does)
Carrie,
The Quaker deal doesn’t work for the pancake mix or the granola bars…are there coupons out there for the qualifying items? :(
Pecan sandies were not included in Keebler cookie deal in New Berlin, WI store
The Nestle coupon that prints off is only for $ .50 off the purchase of 2 bags. Still nice to have the coupon because they are fairly uncommon in the paper.
Purina Friskies Indoor Selects canned cat food
Price cut to 60cents each
Use B1G1 free coupon exp 12/31
Use $1/6 Target coupon
=80cents for 6 cans or about 13cents per can
Our cats fell in love with this food a while back. I am trying to stock up as much as I can. Thankfully the target coupon has no print limit (its at the Organic Grocery Deals Target Coupon Generator). Unfortunately the coupon clippers on Ebay have jacked up their prices.
Hi Carry – I’ve noticed a handful of Targets have changed the price of Christmas Mr Potato Head to $6.99.
Work of warning on the Quaker deal. Try the new pancake mix before buying a bunch of it. I bought 2 boxes last week at Walgreens and paid only .50 a box, BUT they are really awful. I love pancakes and have them about once a week, but these are just plain gross. I’m glad I’m only out .50 a box.
I’ve never bought bagged Starbucks coffee since it’s a luxury item in my book but I scored a Starbucks coupon for 1.50/1 (and I had 3) which I think was found in the Nabisco Crackers promotional party planner book on display at Cub foods in early November. If you picked one of those up there’s a bunch of good coupons for crackers, cofffee, games, etc, and great appetizer recipes that I’m trying for the holiday parties, in addition to great coffee to sample!
Also, watch the bag of coffee you buy as it says you get a free tall coffee when you bring in the empty bag by the best used date. I’m not a Starbucks regular so this may be a known to most but by the time I finished it was $11.50 and three free cups of coffee to boot along with my $5 gift card…yippee!
I wondered about the spud buds. I really wanted a christmas version of the spud buds, not the regular size Santa potato head. Every Target I visit, I search for them and can never find them. I found the reg verstion at Fleet Farm and paid 1.99 for the three mini ones. They are so cute.
Got a great Christmas gift with price matching at Target. The Fisher Price Trio King’s Castle retails for 74.99. Price matched with K-Marts ad for 29.99 and used Target’s $10.00 off coupon. So final price was $19.99 + tax!! My nephew will be thrilled!!
At the Greatland store in Brooklyn Park, you can get the Quaker instant oatmeal priced at 2.54 rather than 2.75 as the ad states, so if you need oatmeal this is a great deal, and you still get the $5 Target GC. Life and Oatmeal Squares are both 2.75. True Delights granola bars, regular granola bars and pancake mix don’t seem to be part of the GC deal.
Part of this deal was from Ggbwg from HCW(thanks) and part was from myself
Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa–$0.99 (buy two)
Buy 2 and use $0.50/2 manufacturer’s coupon from 11/15 SmartSource insert
Use 2 $1/1 Target printable coupon (coupon self-adjusts to 99 cents)
Free plus possible overage after coupons
Also the stores In Vadnais Heights and Roseville take expired coupons.
I was wondering how you come up with getting 2 free on the Hormel compleats deal you mentioned(see below) when you are using 1 coupon? What am I missing.
Hormel Compleats $1.89
Use $2/1 coupon from October issue of All You magazine (exp 12/14)
Final price: Two free after coupons
I tried to do the Glad deal with the gift card, but only the jar candles and the plug-ins were included in that deal (the refills were on sale for $2.50, but they didn’t qualify for the gift card).
Hello-does anyone know where on the website I can find the $2/1 honey bunches of oats coupon?
Thanks much!!!
Susie- the Target in Lakeville allowed the refills to count towards my 5 and I got the $5 gift card. It’s right out of their add.
Runa- the coupon is out of copies.
Kelly- so Target will match other’s stores prices on toys? Where did you get that $10 off coupon?
Angela,
Were they refill oil candles or were they refill plug-ins? I was aiming for the oil candle refills because that’s how I understood Carrie’s deal idea. Thanks!
Flour- I just ran out to get some deals and flour last night. This weeks ad just states Gold Medal flour for $1.50. Not the best price for 5lb bags, but I needed some. Surprise!..it was ALL sizes, so I got a few 10lb bags as I bake our bread and have been baking a lot of cookies. That is an awesome price for 10lb of flour in case you need it! I also had a couple printable 0.50/1 coupons that were about to expire.
Diapers – Just mentioning that I’m brand loyal to Luvs and the boxes are 16.99 this week (only a dollar off normal price), but if you buy 2 boxes, you get a $5 gift card.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Target in Maple Grove had a holiday helpers special today.
There was free gift wrapping, muffins, juice and coffee. They also had coupons at the giftwrap table for $5/$25 purchase. They were taking pictures of kids with santa in the electronics department (just quick little snap shots) that you could pick up at the photo studio on your way out. I’m not sure how long its running or if other stores are doing the same so you might want to call ahead if you’re interested.
Motts apple juice -64 oz- was on sale for $1.84, with the $1/1 cpn on Target’s website makes it only $.84 for a large bottle of juice!
I tried to do the Glade “package” with the 3 coupons and receive a $5 Target Gift card and it didn’t work… The customer service person said it was only on certain scents, which wasn’t marked very clearly, so I did not get the gift card :( I was too tired to return the stuff I did buy.
Also, Otsego Super Target does NOT accept expired coupons. I may need to make the trek to Maple Grove from now on, unless anyone knows anything about Rogers Super Target? Accept Expired coupons? Good about multiple coupons?
Ty- I just was chatting with my Monticello cashier and they do not accept expired coupons anymore, either. I would say the Roger’s Target has higher prices, I’ve found, on non-sale price items.
Susie, they were the refil oil candles. There is a picture and description of them in their add this week.
Our smaller Target in St. Louis Park (the one by Byerlys on Hwy 100) has Nestle chocolate chips on sale for $1.78 rather than the $2.00 price in the ad. I had a 75 cent coupon off two, so it was a pretty good deal to pick up two for that price.
Also both of our St. Louis Park Target stores take expired coupons still. Just today I used a $2.00 off coupon that had an 11/30 expiration date. I am absolutely loyal to Target since it’s a Minneapolis company and because of the way they pay their employees, but I’m glad to be getting such good deals there. Yeah, Target!
Angela – yes, they will price match toys. You need to bring in the entire store ad for the match, for this toy it was in the K-Mart ad. The coupon is a Target coupon off their website. Good luck
Here’s a link to some additional Command hook coupons from 3M to stack with the Target coupon for the same product:
http://www.dealseekingmom.com/target-command-picture-hanging-hooks-0-14/
Kelly…I didn’t get the Kmart ad in my Sunday paper. When I look at the ad online it shows only the ad with the sales starting on December 8. Looks like you bought before then. Do you know what date your ad expired? I would consider going to a Kmart to pick up their ad in order to get this great deal!
I got FREE Swiss Miss at my local Target today. $0.97 (price cut) with $1.00 coupon from Target’s website which will adjust to $0.97 at checkout (so no register beeps)!!!
Carrie- The Santa Mr. Potatoe Head is $6.99. So it’s $1.99 out of pocket.
The Boggle game is not part of the promotion to get a card game free with purchase. And the Champlin target would not accept the BOGO coupon with any of the games that did offer a free card game. I spoke with the cashier, then the line leader who called the mgr on duty.
Just a note on the GLADE deal – it has to be the “holiday” scents and tins. The language on the tag in the store is very specific so read it carefully.
Kelly,
Thank so much for posting this great deal!!!
Fisher Price activity ball toy is on clearance at my Target (NE Minneapolis) for $11.18. Pair with $5 off coupon currently available on coupons.com.
Carrie, I noticed you didn’t change the link for the Starbucks coupon. Are you able to get a Starbucks coupon from that coupon site? I went through the entire list twice and only find a Caribou coupon. I wonder if that means I already printed the Starbucks one in the past and it doesn’t show up now? I’m still searching for at least one more Starbucks coupon before taking advantage of the Target deal! Thank you
I had the hardest time finding the Leap Frog My Pal Violet @ Target. I called around for over a week. I just finally found one in Superior, WI, which is very close because I live in Duluth! It was $15 but I still used the $5 off coupon and got it for $10 out of pocket. Not a bad deal at all. I ended up buying 2. They will make great gifts. Thank you so much!!
I just want to take a moment to sing the praises of Target yet again. We are loyal to Target and have always said we wouldn’t go to a Walmart even if they built one across the street. So, today I took in my three Starbucks coupons and selected my 3 bags of coffee. I knew I might not even get them because only 1 of the coupons seemed like a good one. They were all $1 off, but one of them was WAY expired (like February or March of 2009), and I really didn’t think they would take it. I pointed it out to the cashier, and she was so nice and took it with no problem. The third coupon I had was specifically for the tiny bags of Starbucks which I wasn’t getting. But she took that as well. So $21 for three bags of coffee, minus $3 in coupons, minus the $5 Target gift card which I used to pay for the rest of my groceries. That makes it $13 (or $4.33 per bag). But then, like Roxanne pointed out earlier in the week, almost all the bags have a free coupon for a tall cup of coffee at a Starbucks. That is something I will use over time and is worth another $6 (can’t remember exact prices there). That really does make a great coffee deal!
Where did you find the Starbucks coupons? I clicked on the link above and it brings me to coupons.com but no Starbucks coupon only Caribou. Help Please:)
Traci, the really expired coupon I had came from a Kraft Food & Family magazine that, up until recently, I received for free in the mail. This was from one that must have come during the holidays a year ago. The two coupons I had were already in my coupon box, and I think at least one of them also came from a different issue of the Kraft magazine. I’m not sure where I got the third one, but it wasn’t an internet coupon. Maybe from a Sunday coupon insert? Wish I could help because Target truly was wonderfully generous about letting me use that really old one.
Okay, I have been to Monticello, Rogers, Otsego, Maple Grove, Crystal, and Eden Prairie Targets and only find the Mr.Potatoe Head Santa NO spud buds. Those who are saying they found the Christmas ones are you talking about the actual pack of 3 Spud Buds or are you calling the Santa Mr.Potatoe head the spud bud? Can you please clarify if you’ve actually FOUND the Spud Buds and which TArget?
