Reminder: Free Duracell Batteries from Staples

duracell

Become a Staples Rewards member, then buy a 20-pack of Duracell batteries for $12.99, get $12.99 in Staples Rewards automatically (store credit you’ll receive in January). Limit is 2 packages per customer per week now through Christmas.

If you routinely buy office supplies like toner, paper, or need a printer or desk chair, then it might be worth getting the store credit to use toward those purchases. This will be a significant out of pocket expense, but the credit will be nice after-the-fact, right?

I mailed in a rebate to kraft this summer and never got my $10 rebate check. I believe the rebate was for buy 5 Kraft items in one purchase and mail in UPC and receipt and get $10 rebate check. Never got it. Don’t even know where to start to inquire about this.

I don’t like mail in rebate very much because it takes so forever long and sometimes it never comes at all.

I love Staples rewards, I get tons of stuff and get all my rebates. I like them because you do the rebates right on-line and they have never stiffed me. I even get the free shipping for over $50 along with using coupons they send me for $25 off an order of $75 or more. It’s great with the ink and paper rebates too, especially since we have to print all our coupons. Thanx for the reminder Carrie.

PS over the summer I bought $110 of stuff at Staples (which included some Christmas presents) and after rebates and rewards my total was $24 and change.

HOA – Mail in rebates tend to take a long time, usually 6-8 weeks. I’ve even done some that say 12 weeks. I have a notebook where I write down my rebate info: contact info, amount, how long it will take, etc… that way I can keep track of what I am expecting. I would try to contact Kraft about the rebate through their website. Most companies are good at getting your email to the appropriate person so it can be answered. Good luck and I hope you get your rebate!

Do you have to spend the “Staples” reward check in the store or do they just send you a check that you cash?

@Marca – The Staples reward check can either be used in the store or online at Staples.com only
    You can’t cash Staples check.
