I have the Kindle app for my iPod touch and have read a couple of the free books. There aren’t a ton that I wanted but there are some really great classical fiction selections! It is nice to have the book on my iPod and to know I can just throw it in my purse and I have something to read when I am waiting somewhere without having to lug a book. Plus I don’t have to do something with the book once I have finished reading it! Yay for less clutter! :)

The iPod Touch is the way to go for reading Kindle books. It’s the cheapest, small but not too small, so easy to carry around, and it’s backlit so you can read it in bed with the lights off. Books download very quickly (a minute or two max). I highly recommend this gadget over other Kindle reading alternatives, including the actual Kindles.
