There are a bunch of great deals at Menards right now, including free and cheap-after rebate items. I only include items that are close the 75% off retail price mark, since that’s my goal when I shop. These offers are good through December 20. Ask for a rain check if something you want is out of stock.
You do need to buy $10 in non-rebated items (one $10 item per transaction, not per rebate item) if you purchase any of the free after rebate items. If you are new to shopping at Menards, learn the ins and outs here.

Another great deal is the Colgate toothpaste or toothbrushes. They are on sale for $3, free with rebate. If you have some coupons, they are better than free!
Also, at my Menards they have Chi Chi salsa on sale for $1.50/jar. My coupons make them $1/ jar.
I submitted my first batch up of rebates on black Friday. I can’t wait to get my money back!!!!
I like to get the tape measures, extension cords, saws, whatever is free that week, to use as part of wedding gifts. Most of the items on people’s registries are beyond my budget, so I buy something smaller and fill in with tools. They might not be the highest quality, but they are something to get the household started and last a few years. And the price is right!
A small tool box or bag filled with basic tools (hammer, screwdrivers, tape measure, picture hanging gizmos, etc) makes a great gift for high school grads heading off to college or first-time homeowners — my daughter received one as a gift for high school graduation, and it was her favorite gift
My hubby came with me on one of my shopping trips to Menards. And now he’s hooked!!! He loves the free stuff.
Thanks for all you do to help us out keep the $ in our pockets, Carrie!!!
Yesterday I found Glade candle tins on clearance for $1.51. Many of them had $1.50 off 1 making them one cent plus tax. Also can submit to the SC Johnson rebate $5/3 for a nice money maker!!
They were near the xmas/toys area in my store.
