Comments

  1. Erin Rose says:

There is a $1/4 Delmonte coupon online somewhere. I printed it a couple days ago. That should make the canned veggies even cheaper.

  2. Ruth says:

Coupons.com has a coupon for $1.50 off store-brand coffee when you buy 3 Kellogg’s cereals. Cameron’s(?) coffee was $4.99 for a pre-ground package at my Cub this week, making it only 3.49. Good stocking stuffer for my hubby!

  3. angie says:

Are the 3-day sales advertised somewhere?

  4. tabby says:

3 day sale is on cub’s web page starting Thursday.

  5. Nancy Busse says:

Rainbow Foods has a super deal on Kellogg’s, Sunshine & Keebler products Sunday – Wednesday this week. Buy 8 & get them for $.99. These include cereals, bars, cookies & crackers. And when you use your cents-off coupons too you can get them even cheaper!
    Limit is 8.

  6. Jaime says:

Has anyone successfully used their expired Walgreen’s register rewards at Cub?

  7. Vicki says:

Cub also has lunchables for sale this week for $1 regularly $2.50. These are the smaller lunchables without the drink or candy.

  8. Christine says:
  9. Lori says:

Nancy I did the Rainbow 99 cent sale this morning, I got 8 boxes of Frosted Mini Wheats for 24 cents a box…..total for 8 boxes was $1.92. Theres some great Kellogg’s coupon’s that match up.

  10. Lori says:

All flavors mini wheats are included in the 99 cent sale.

  11. Mike says:

so if i use the “speed zone” at cub and scan my RR, will it recognize the RR? considering they’re selling pepsi cases at $2.76, limit 2, i’ll be going several times. and if i can use my RRs in the future, it would give me a lot of incentive to stock up on RRs via walgreens. i find them to be a pain in the rear to use at walgreens.

  12. Jaime says:

Didn’t have luck using Walgreen’s register rewards at my Cub this evening. Where in the cities have you all been able to use them? Would like to use mine at Cub instead of for more stuff I don’t need at Walgreen’s.

  13. Raegan says:

Nancy and Lori, I thought the 99cent deal at Rainbow said on it not to be used with any other coupons or discounts? Am I wrong?

  14. Penny says:

    Carrie,

I’m totally confused…RR’s have Walgreens stated on them in two places..and they say redeemable a Walgreens..why would Cub accept them? I love the idea, but it just doesn’t seem right. I’ve read the posts on afullcup.com and taken a very close look at the RR’s I have and I guess I need your take on this.

  15. Lori says:

Raegan, They let me use the coupons I printed off the internet no problem. Never said anything about no coupons or discounts.

  16. Mike says:

While ripping off Cub by fraudulently using coupons and not surrendering them at the poorly-named “speed zone,” or whatever they call it, I asked the nice old lady troubleshooting the highly inefficient self-serv registers if I could use my Walgreens RR. She had been asked the question last week, evidently. Here’s what I learned last night while buying 12-packs of Pepsi for $1.13 each.

Corporate-owned stores are accepting them, but not privately-owned stores. The St. Louis Park store on Highway 7 is owned by Jerry’s Foods, not SuperValu, the corporate parent of Cub. So, if your Cub is a corporate store, you’re in luck. Which ones are corporate stores? I imagine somebody more savvy than me can find that list.

  17. Jennifer M. says:

    Mike ~ you are hilarious!!!! : – )

  18. Mike says:

that’s the idea, but i do hope somebody will figure out which stores are corporate owned.

  19. Holly says:

Coupons.com has a coupon for $1.00 off of 4 Del Monte canned veggies, making them just 12 cents a can!!! yeah!

  20. Paula says:

I prefer to shop the St. Paul Midway Cub, but they don’t accept internet coupons (other than those I print from their site). Is this because they’re privately owned? Are there Cubs that DO take internet coupons?

  21. Haila says:

Paula, the Cub stores I go to (Shoreview, New Brighton, and St Anthony) all take internet coupons with no problem.

  22. Anita says:

Paula, west St Paul takes internet coupons.

  23. Paula says:

Thank you! I’m going to a new Cub that takes internet coupons. Frightens me to think of how much money I’ve lost over the years . . . . .

  24. Khaleda says:

was wondering if anyone knows any website that swaps coupons only in minnesota? I am always with abundant extra coupons including target, cub or rainbow coupons that printed from register too, including Sunday circular. After knowing that cub takes expired manuf coupons, I don’t feel like throwing them. I don’t mind giving away my extras if someone can save mony from it, if they don’t have the coupons I need!! It om really hurts to throw away these moneylike coupons. If anyone interested I will list some extras coupons or other I have …I even get sometimes macys , express total dollars off coupons in hand.

  25. Amy says:

Cub has cantaloupe (limit 2) for 98 cents Thursday to Saturday (three-day sale).

  26. Roberta says:

    Hi,
Re: RR use at Cub. Are you saying that you can use RR and/or coupons in the self serve/machine check-outs without the assistance of a staff person? When I was at Rainbow yesterday I tried to use regular coupons out of the Sunday paper at in the self check out lane and the machine made me get a cashier to approve each and every one of them. It would be great if you could scan them without waiting for staff to have the time to come over and ok it.

Also, I have never gone to Wags and received RR. Are they coupons for specific items, or just a $$ off your purchase type of thing? Thanks.

I love this website, I have learned so much in the last couple of weeks!!

  27. Joe says:

I have not had any problems using internet coupons at Cub or CVS or Walgreens or Rainbow —anywhere in fact.

  28. Pam says:

Cub has pineapples for 2.48. There were printable coupons for .75 off of pineapple a few weeks ago that makes that quite a good deal. Tony’s thin and crispy pizza is $1. I think that is a pretty good deal and I didn’t see that on here.

I use printed coupons at the cub in Bloomington with no problem.

  29. Penny says:

$65 in RR’s used at the Stillwater Cub tonight! I called SuperValue corporate and Stillwater was the closest corporate owned Cub for me! Add coupons, Cub advertised specials and I saved $81.35!!

The WAGS deals have not been great, so this saved me from buying “stuff.” I lost track of how many times I rolled over teh RR’s I used tonight, but it was easily 2 months.

    Thanks Carrie!!!

  30. Dennis says:

There is a $10 off $100 dollar coupon in the star trib page a22 today for cub foods. I didn’t find any other coupon packs like smartsource in the paper.
