the clementines coupon will only work if the box says “Cuties” — not all clementine are “cuties”
Hi Carrie, thanks for putting the list of quickly. I went to get the Carnation coupon and the site said the offer has expired.
Merry Christmas.
I went to Cub early on Sunday hoping to use the “Cuties” clementine coupon too, but they weren’t Cutie clementines at Cub this week. Still, it’s a better price than Rainbow or Target with the $1 coupon on their Cutie clementines.
I had a frustrating experience at Cub this past week and I am wondering if Carrie or anyone else has any insight on this. I plan to write a letter either way but I am trying to figure out if I have a complaint with the cashier or Cub’s policy.
I couldn’t get Raisin Bran at Rainbow during the sale last week and my husband really wanted more, so I decided to go for the $1.67 ea. coupon at Cub. You had to buy three to use the Cub coupon, then I had a $1.50/2 mfr coupon and a .$50/1 mfr. coupon. Pretty normal deal, right? Well, the cashier told me that it was “double dipping” to use more than one mfr coupon per cub coupon. Huh? At first I thought maybe she was confused about how many boxes I had purchased, or how many boxes the coupons covered, so I pointed out what the coupons said, but she said no, it was a new policy to only be able to use one mfr coupon per cub coupon no matter how many items were covered by the cub or mfr coupons.
Has anyone else heard of that? In this situation it wasn’t a big deal because the smaller coupon was only for fifty cents, but it could be a deal breaker for other deals. If that is a Cub policy (or policy of the Cub I shop at), it seems pretty unfair. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if this cashier was mis-informed, because I have had a lot of problems at the Cub closest to me with cashiers who really didn’t know much about coupon policies, or even basic things like how to ring up a gift card.
any thoughts?
There is a $10 off a $100 purchase coupon on cubfoods.com good thru 12/24
Kirsten, I had the same problem with a older female cashier off of 7&41 She seemed upset or put out that I had coupons at all. I just plan on never going back to her register. She said I couldn’t stack coupons and handed them back to me. I know she has worked their for years and I know that the coupons were all good. I was completely ready for her to ring them but I think she personally felt as though I was cheating her. Don’t worry. You can always go to customer service (return them) and repurchase them with the coupons you had. ??? Don’t give up! Good luck!
VC- thanks for the cpn :) hoping i can use this first to get my $10 off then use my cpns after that!
Kirsten- it does sound confusing, i am hoping we can find cubs policy somewhere. guessing it varies by store since some are individually owned.
VC- can you tell me where the $10/100 cpn is at cubfoods.com i have looked and looked and cant find it :(
THANKS!
Kierstien,
In the pioneer press it is not in the cub ad. It is the back page of the main section of the paper. Cub has a full page ad there also
Saturday night I went to the Stillwater Cub (SuperValue Corporate owned) and us $60+ in RR’s…with additional coupons and advertised savings I saved $81.33. The $60+ rr’s had been rolled over for over two months..possibly even 4 months are part of them and at least $30 equaled overages.
The stillwater Cub also has a gas station (like costco) and I earned $.11 off per gallon of gas. It was only 2.2 miles further to go to this Cub and soooooo worth it.
Julie- thanks i’ll see if i can find it!
Sooo happy somone referred me to this blog! I have been on it many times daily since i was told about it on fri/sat. :)
julie- thank you so very much! I had to search all over the house for the sunday paper…lol. but i finally found it in the bathroom LOL (dont ask!) and got the coupon!!!! Now to make my grocery list and hopfully use the cpn then use all my other cpns and get a GREAT deal at CUB!
FYI – I was having problems with the birdseye link above. Try the actual link on the birdseye website.
Were there any coupons in this weekend’s paper?
Anyone know if the Roger’s Cub accepts manufacturer’s coupons with other store logos (Target printables for example)? Thanks…
I can’t seem to get the clementines coupon I even added them as a friend on facebook!! How or where can I find it I don’t have the 12/6 smartsource coupons. I am from Lakeville MN and can help you make money. I love saving money and so glad to help others also!!
You can also get the $10 off coupon on their website.
Thanks Pam I didn’t know looks like I will be needing the other coupon for the holiday food I have to buy.
I did not get coupons this Sunday am I the only one or did I get robbed?
Dennis – Nope, no coupons this week. Probably none next week either because of the holidays. Hold on to your hat though because I suspect the first week in January will make up for it.
Great thanks Carrie at least we can keep printing online!! I hope I find a coupon for all the ink I have been using.
I didn’t see the in-ad coupon for the $1.88 Cub milk. Is this part of the sale that starts on Thursday? Also, the Land O Lakes sour cream wasn’t on sale for $.99 at the Baxter Cub. I did see they had Kemps sour cream on sale for $1.25, and I did have a coupon for that so it brought my price down below $.99. Just checking to see if I misunderstood when these deals were valid for. Thanks!
Also wanted to say that the Cub in Baxter also accepted my Wag’s RR…no questions asked, what a nice surprise! :)
My cub add has milk @ $1.99/gal. not $1.88. Anyone know the true price?
Angie- there is a coupon in the paper from sunday that has cub milk for $1.88ea when you buy the twin pack! HTH
Kierstien-Is the coupon in the Cub add or somewhere in the Sunday paper itself?
Angie- it is in the Cub add itself.
Not all Cub sales flyers are the same. The St. Cloud Cub stores do not carry the Cub brand milk and therefore that item is not included in their sales flyer at all. The sales flyers are available online to compare sales available at different stores.
will someone please tell me some info about RP. I have always looked for the redPlum insert but I have never found what it says here is in those ads. Where are these coupons? Are they in the papers that are inside that mailer or are they in the paper that says Red Plum.
I’m sorry I forgot to include my email address with my post. If someone can respond to me directly it is: laverne_shirley44@yahoo.com.
Thanks
sophie-
the pioneer press inserts tend to have less coupons than the star tribune inserts so if you get the pioneer press that could be why you are unable to find all the coupons
Cub has the best deal for egg nog even cheaper than aldi’s
