There is one lone insert in today’s paper, a Procter & Gamble (plus there is a $0.75 off Kleenex coupon in the USA Weekend Magazine). Next week though, I expect a coupon bonanza so get ready to buy multiple papers and stock up on coupons in any way you can.
I have highlighted my picks of which coupons will likely result in a freebie or a rock bottom price. These are based on the Minneapolis paper and other papers may have different coupons and different coupon amounts. You can see all my previous picks here.
If you want more copies of these coupons there are a couple options. Get more copies of the inserts from friends, neighbors, co-workers, leftovers at coffee shops or libraries or a whole paper for $1 at most Dollar Tree stores (locations here). You can also order the specific coupons you want from The Coupon Clippers.
Your turn: Which coupons do you think will turn into a freebie or rock bottom-priced item?
Everyday, Regular Priced Items
Buy the following products with a coupon from this weekend’s paper at their everyday price and you’ll get a great deal or maybe even a freebie.
Always products. Buy one larger size, get a smaller box free.
Always Infinity. Buy one larger size, get a smaller box free.
Kleenex. Buy two Vicks products, get one Puffs free.
Olay Pro-X. This $5/1 coupon can be used at the time of purchase for products that qualify for this $15 mail-in rebate for double savings.
Tag. Buy one, get one free.
Tampax. Buy one larger size, get a smaller box free.
Tide. The $1 off coupon clearly states “$1 off any size Tide,” which will make the travel size free at Target or Walmart.
Sale Priced Items
If these products go on sale before the coupon expires you will get a rock bottom price or maybe even a freebie. Look through the coupons on the “coupons doubled in value” list below as well, since they could be included here too.
Crest Premium Toothpaste. I say this nearly every week, but $1/1 coupons like this one are the reason I haven’t paid for name brand toothpaste in years.
Dayquil or Nyquil. These have been on sale at Walgreens a number of times this winter (and are again this week too!). Match that sale with a couple of these $1.50/1 coupons for a great deal.
Tide Stain Release. Again, I have no idea how much these cost, but Procter & Gamble does not typically put out $3/1 coupons so if you love this product this could make for a great deal. (Generally, when a new product is brought to market the manufacturer issues high-value coupons, then over time weans the consumer to lower-value coupons and finally, in some cases, eliminates coupons all together.)
Coupons Doubled in Value
If you can shop at a store where the value of your coupon is doubled and these products go on sale before the coupon expires, then you will likely get a freebie or something close to it.
Gillette Shave Gel. Most stores run sales on various Procter & Gamble products the first week of each month, coinciding with the release of the monthly Procter & Gamble coupon insert. I hope that next month we’ll see shave gel for $2, like we have in times past so it’ll be free with this $1/1 coupon.

Always Infinity has been on clearance at my Target store, I plan on checking them out again tomorrow to see if I can find them & use the coupon too!
The $1 Ivory bar soap = free soap this week at CVS (sale .99)
It would also be a good doubled coupon at Rainbow.
What about using the Always and Tampax q’s at Wags this week and building your total to $30 (in participating items) to earn the free Tide($8.99). I’m new at this, would that qualify as a good deal?
