Hello Carrie, Thank you so much for having a site like this, I’ve been teetering on which route to go for many years as how to reduce my debt. I too am in the hole for over 40 G’s in credit card debt. This past year I have really started to concentrate on paying that down. I can’ wait to dig into your site for ideas and inspiration. I live in Western Wi on a small farm with our 3 little girls. Again thanks for doing what you do!
Sincerely
Lisa Bigaouette

Welcome everyone. I am thrilled to have you here! Keep reading, learning and sharing your ideas. I don’t put all these ideas together on my own, but with help from all of you so be in touch when you spot a deal or have an idea you think I should share with others! –Carrie
Congrats on your accomplishment and thank you for helping others. I am anxious to use the tools you have shown us thru this website. Can you suggest which paper is better for coupons, Star Trib or St Paul Pioneer? I do not subscribe to either and didn’t want to waste my $$ on the wrong paper.
Thanks again!
Jamey – Generally, the Star Tribune has more coupons and higher-value coupons than the Pioneer Press.
Jamey – the Startribune typically has the better coupons. I’ve discovered that although the pioneer press may have the same number of inserts, the coupons in the inserts aren’t always the same. However, I get both sunday papers delivered because they were offering such good deals on Sunday papers. I think I was getting the pioneer press sunday for about .25 a week! I recycle 99.9% of it right away, but for what I pay, the extra coupons are often worth it. I think the strib is offering $26 a year?
