Walgreens: Free Kleenex this Week

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

walgreens

I have been waiting for a great Kleenex deal and I finally found it!  Add this to the list of awesome buys this week at Walgreens:

***Deal idea***
Kleenex Facial Tissue–$1.09 (with the in-ad coupon)
Buy 3 boxes and use in-ad coupon to get sale price and stack with
$0.50/3 coupon from the 10/4 or 11/1 Smart Source inserts and stack with
$1/1 Kleenex coupon from the November Coupon Booklet found at front of store in literature rack November Healthy Savings book (will deduct $3)
Final price: Better than free after coupons**
**You will need to add in at least $0.24 in other items (“fillers”) so that your total is not negative. Small gifts bags are $0.12 with an in-ad coupon (they’re 8 for $1)

Even without the manufacturer coupon you’d only pay $0.09 per box for Kleenex, which is a phenomenal price. (Thanks Crystal and The Coupon High)

Your turn: Did you find the Healthy Savings Booklet at your Walgreens?

  1. Melanie says:

can you use 2 Walgreens coupons at once? Has anyone done this yet?

  2. Gennifer says:

I can not seem to find the $1 coupon in the November coupon book. Does anyone know what page it was on?

  3. Mara says:

    Thanks, I thought I was crazy. I can’t find it either…

  4. Mara says:

I went to the “Coupon HIgh” website that Carrie listed above. It had a picture of the November booklet she was using and it doesn’t look like the one I have. Mine has a Christmas ornament on the front, and hers doesn’t, even though it has the same dates on it. Anyway, the one I have doesn’t have the Kleenex coupon in it.

  5. Jen W. says:

I just checked my coupon book I got at the Walgreens in Hopkins off of Blake Rd. it has the $1 coupon for Kleenex.

  6. Cindi says:

Do you get the booklet from Walgreens?

  7. Priscilla says:

Another free Kleenex idea is the Scotties brand, there is a $1.00/1 coupon available, and Scotties are like .98 or so at Cub Foods = Free!
I believe the $1.00 coupon is on the Scotties website

  8. Chrissy says:

I am also curious about Malanie’s question. Can we use more then one Walgreens coupon at the same time?

  9. Susan says:

I’m new to Walgreens shopping… so would the in-ad coupon be counted as three coupons since it’s three products? I’m just wondering about purchasing the minimum amout of items for the coupons you use. The gift bags would be using another coupon, so we’d still need another small item or two… Does that make sense? Thanks for the help! I love your site!

  10. Aimee says:

Where do you get the November Healthy Savings book?

  11. Val says:

I haven’t been able to find either the November Healthy Savings book nor the Diabetes and You savings book. Seems to not be at my Walgreens. I checked the pharmacy area too. I sure would like that $1 off Kleenex coupon.

    • Carrie Rocha says:

Val – I found the Healthy Savings and it isn’t in there. As you can see by my post, I saw this deal elsewhere and am having a hard time tracking down the right coupon. Anyone find the $1/1?

  12. Laura says:

Susan – no, it’s just one coupon even though it deducts on all three products. Same with the gift bags – it’s one coupon that deducts multiple times, but each additional bag counts as another item. That’s a win!

  13. Kristen says:

I went to the Scotties website, but it was only a .50 coupon-not a $1/1 still helpful though!

  14. Priscilla says:

Kristen, you have to chane to drop to from the default yes to no, then you will get the high value coupon.

  15. Mary says:

Could you give me the Scotties website? Thanks.

  16. Carrie- I have not found mine yet, BUT it is a little misleading. It is not in the Healthy Savings (shorter, square) flyer, but in the November flyer. There seem to be 2 versions, both are tall skinny green – one with the ornament (that is the one I have) and there is one that says Healthy Savings on it and has a woman baking with kids. That is the one that has it. They have most of the same coupons except only the woman one has the kleenex. I am not sure if they are regional versions or if stores carry both.

hope that helps – I will continue the search, I could really use some tissues – LOL!

  17. Donna A says:

Val, the store in Hopkins has both versions. The one with the kleenex (woman baking with her kids) was at the register in the pharmacy. It wasn;t even in an area for customers to grab. I saw it and asked.

  18. Val says:

I live in Brooklyn Park, and don’t shop in Hopkins but I actually have an errand I wanted to do in Hopkins this week, visiting the Autism Shop. Maybe I’ll stop in at their Walgreens and get the alternate coupon book with the Kleenex coupon.
Thanks for figuring it out, Donna and Lynn, as I guess they must have 2 different coupon books! It’s confusing. I will hope for my free Kleenex!

  19. Nichole says:

There are two booklets out at my walgreens, you have to get the one with the green cover. And, yes you can use the one from the ad and the one from the book. My cashier said that she wasnt sure, so I just asked her to try. Right now in store, grab and ad and there is $5 off $25. Another great deal is the dawn dish soap, I got a .20 off coupon last weekned, and its on sale for $1.00. And if you want to stock up on kids medicine, right now triaminic for kids is buy 2 get $5 in rr. So, I got 2 things of medicine and garbage bags, and used the $5 off $25 and they paid me for my bags becuase I got $5 rr.

  20. donna says:

I live in Worcester county. ma and I got both savings books and neither one has the Kleenex coupon. I am going to keep looking though. maybe it is regional? we never seem to get the really good coupons mentioned in so many of these deals.

  21. Grace says:

Thanks for the heads up , my closest Walgreens did not have this book. Maybe our book is old and they have not put out the new one yet.

  22. Patty says:

Just went to Walgreens last night. They did not have a Healthy Savings book only the November Coupon book. Not sure where this $1 coupon is, but would sure like to know before the sale goes off on Sat. Can anyone help?

  23. Katrina says:

I could not find the book either but the coupon code is 5236 and it worked twice for me. Be sure to get the 85 sheets. Also the cashier must ring up the knleenex before the coupon code is used.

  24. Sarah says:

I found a coupon in the walgreen’s ad for $1/1 limit 3, but the 100 qty kleenex are like 2 something so they were not free. I had a 6 dollar same as cash thingy so that helped.

  25. Donna A says:

Katrina, The Kleenex that would of ended up being almost free was the 85 count, not the 100 count. The coupon in the weekly ad was for $1.09 for the 80,85,100 or 200. If you would have picked the 85, you could have stacked it with the coupon in the Healthy Savings book. That one is for the 85 count 0nly and the value is $1 off all 3 boxes. Each box would have been $.09. It’s tricky, you really do have to be exact with the correct counts or it throws everything off. I think we’ll all end up being pros in the end, and each little blunder just helps us learn the system a little better. ( :

  26. Donna A says:

Sorry Katrina, that last message was suppose to have gone to Sarah.

  27. Annette says:

I found the booklet at the Rockford Rd. Walgreens but they would not take 2 walgreens coupons plus a manufactuer coupon. So i haven’t had a moment to figure out how much I actually payed but I had a $5 off $25 purchase and $8RR so that helped.
