Swagbucks: Buy Half-Priced Gift Cards (Nov 27 – Jan 1)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

swagbucks holiday blowout

If you’re a Swagbucks user, listen up!  Starting on November 27 (Black Friday) and going until January 1, Swagbucks will offer one different gift card each day at a “blowout” price in their Swag Store.  The gift card of the day will not be officially announced, but if you check the Swag Store daily, you should be able to find it.  Each day, you can redeem your points for two of the “blowout” price gift cards. Check out details on Swagbucks’ blog.

A $5 Amazon gift card is normally 45 Swagbucks, and although their exact price won’t be revealed until the day of the blowout, Swagbucks’ blog hints that we can expect better than half-price.  That means you may be able to pick up a $5 gift card for as little as 20 or 22 Swagbucks.

If you are new to online searching with Swagbucks, read what I’ve previously said about Swagbucks and create a Swagbucks account.

Also note: Although there will be only one gift card offered at a special price every day, the deal may repeat over the course of the promotion. You could snap up multiple Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, iTunes, Target, and many more gift cards for far less than the normal point values over the course of the promotion.

So, stock up on those Swagbucks in the meantime and be ready to snatch up the gift card deal of the day!

Your turn: Once this promo starts, how many Swagbucks does it take to buy a blow out gift card?

Thanks for the tip! I will definitely have to check this out.

  2. Anne says:

How exactly does swag bucks work? I have used swagbucks to search, but I only get 1 swagbuck, even after an hour of different searches. Are there other ways to get swag bucks? What’s the trick?

  3. Laura says:

@Amy: I use Swagbucks to search (most of the time) and usually only receive 1-3 Swagbucks a day. (Granted, I don’t search very often.) I think that if you do multiple searches with the intent of trying to rack up points, it won’t give you very much. I’ve found that I usually get points for my first or second search of the day, and then don’t get any more until late afternoon or evening.
