Anita,

I purchased 9 Glade candle Christmas tins at Menards a couple of weeks ago. They, too, would not let me use more than one coupon per transaction. However, once they decided that I could do multiple transactions, every thing went well. No one was in the line behind me, and my cashier and I actually had fun swapping money and coins back and forth. (I think I paid 61 cents for each candle, so we handled a lot of coin.) She was very friendly, and I did not really deal with the "front end" person, my cashier did. It took time, but went well. Still, I'm not eager to go back and repeat the process!!!

Have you ever had issues using manufactuer coupons at Menards? I tried to puchase 3 Glade candles tonight and had three $2.00 off any one Glade candle coupon and 6 jars of Fisher peanuts with six $1.00 off any Fisher nut item over 4oz only to be told that I could only use one of each coupon per their coupon policy (the coupons said "one coupon per purchase") It drives me nuts when some stores use the wording on coupons against the customer like that. As long as your applying each coupon to a seperate item and not trying to stack multiple coupons on a single item why not take them? They ended up losing my entire sale of $100.00 over $9.00 in coupons - the front end person was so rude to me I just said I didn't want anything and left.

I have been dealing with rebates for like 10 years. I received all my rebate checks from all kinds of online or local stores, even notorious CompUsa.

Never received rebate checks from Menards, instead received mails saying my Menards rebates were not valid. That is *!#@!. since they were small amounts, I didn't bother calling Menards. I'll never buy any mail in rebate items from Menards.

I've never had a problem submitting my rebates if I didn't spend $10 on non-rebate items. Stopped at Menards today and got $50 in merchandise "free" since I had the rebate checks from previous purchases. Most of the items bought generated more rebates slips, so I'll get another rebate check too. I love Menards :-)

Angela, Menards prints out a separate receipt for each rebate. And for those of you who haven't learned this yet, all the Menards-issued rebates go to the same address - you can load them *all* in one envelope and pay postage just once. One of the many things I like about their rebate system.

Question on the rebate. do you need the original reciept to mail in to each rebate? sometimes the rebate won't accept a copy how would you suggest to go about that. is that something Menards prints out automatically at the checkout?

Just one $10 non-rebated item(s) per purchase. So if you buy all the rebated stuff together in one transaction you only need $10 of stuff. If you buy them in multiple transactions, then you'll need $10 per transaction. Hope that helps!
