Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

happy thanksgiving

It has been quiet around here yesterday and today as I took some time to enjoy my family and give thanks for the many blessings in my life.

This past year I have been blessed with my second child (born Jan 2009), the opportunity to watch my husband be a wonderful stay-at-home dad to our girls (he started that in Feb 2009), the launch of Pocket Your Dollars to help others get through this tough economy (March 2009), a new niece (June 2009), a visit from my Brazilian in-laws that I hadn’t seen in years (July 2009), a week’s vacation to northern MN (Aug 2009), a visit from my dad and stepmom that live out of state (Aug 2009), the ability to scale back to halftime in my day job as Pocket Your Dollars became increasingly successful (Sept 2009), a night away from home to celebrate my husband’s 44th and my 34th birthdays (Oct 2009), and the hope, joy and security that come through my deep faith in Jesus Christ.

I am inexplicably thankful for you and the community we have at Pocket Your Dollars. I regularly pray for you and your families; I pray for blessings and wisdom as you steward your family’s finances.

Thanksgiving’s over and I’m back at the computer now. I am ready to share some great deals with you, so stay tuned.

Thank you so much for praying for us! We are working hard to get out of debt. We have been praying for God’s wisdom along the way. We have learned through Pocket Your Dollars about a lot of money saving ideas that have helped us. We will continue to tune in for more.
