Ok here is what I've found about using multiple coupons for one item from the flu coupon books.... you can only use one coupon per transaction. So I did the toothpaste but had to have them ring up my toothpaste and kleenex and dove chocolate in a separate transaction. Then the coupons worked. Seems silly to me.

I've called corporate again and the assure me that if we want to use coupons from multiple flu coupon books that it's fine, although I have had trouble doing so in Plymouth. This time when I called they offered to give me $1 for the coupon that I couldn't use and $1 for my trouble on my cvs card (I'm assuming it will print as a coupon the next time I shop). I'll try using multiple coupons again tomorrow and see if it works.

Ditto on the revlon deal-at best a fingernail clipper would cost 1.50 and the Rogers CVS said they don't have any flu books left.

I checked out the Revlon prices and they are too high for me. Files $4.99, tweezers at $9.99. I next hit Walgreens and they have some Revlon tools on clearance, very good buy.

Karen - I'd pick one up every time I'm there, but maybe someone else is bold enough to ask for 8 at once.

I tried to use 2 identical coupons from 2 flu coupon books on Saturday and they would not let me. I called CVS corporate earlier in the week to see if it would be ok and they said it would be fine to use multiple coupons. Anyone else having trouble using more than one coupon per transaction?
Also, how do you get 8 coupon books? Do you ask for one each time you shop or do you go up and ask for 8 coupon books? Last week I was told I needed to get a flu shot to get one, but again I called CVS corporate and they told me that was not the case.

Annette the coupon machine at CVS is in different locations at different CVS's. It is a standing machine that when you scan your extra care card it spits out coupons for use at cvs only. I have only been to two CVS stores. Both of them in Woodbury. The one on Eagle Creek Lane I visited several times before I found it. It is by the magazine area next to the Minute Clinic. The one on Tamarack
road the machine is to the right when you enter near the front of the store by the perfume area.
Hope that helps. If you can't find it at your CVS ask a cashier. I have found the cashiers at both of my locations to be extremely friendly and helpful.

Duracell Batteries $2.99, Earn $1 Extra Care Bucks (Limit 1)
Use coupon $0.75/1 from the 11/1 Procter & Gamble insert
Spend $2.49, get $1 Extra Care Bucks back
Final price: $0.75 after coupons and Extra Care Bucks

This math doesn't add up.
Shouldn't it be? :
Spend $2.24, get $1 ECB
Final Price: $1.24 after coupons and ECB
