Update: The 20,000 codes are gone.
The first 20,000 to sign up with Photoworks will receive a code to the first 20,000 redeemable for a free free clutch photo book, a 25-count pack of holiday cards, an 11?x 8? calendar or a $25 credit on the site. You can choose which of those free gifts you’d like and they’ll ship it free too.
Go to the American Greetings website, then navigate to the home page and onto the PhotoWorks logo. From their you’ll register, receive your code and use it during checkout. Code is good through 12/31/09 so you need to hurry and claim one, but you have time to put your card, book or calendar together.
(Thanks Common Sense with Money)
***Sorry for the late notice on this one. I found out about this earlier today and had a leisurely day off from my day job planned to hang with my kids and blog. I ended up doing an impromptu TV segment for a show I am regularly on since someone cancelled last-minute. It threw a money wrench into my plans for more Cyber Monday deals and this one too. I apologize.

Heads up when you choose your gift, the clutch photo book is only 4″ x 4″. This is important to know since you don’t get to look at the details of it before you choose your gift.
Thanks for the great deals Carrie, you’re really helping me get through my Christmas list on a tight budget!!!
Expired?
I signed up and received an email, but no code. Expired or am I missing something?
Go to http://www.americangreetings.com and the offer is there on the left hand side. Heads up, you have to pay the shipping and handling charges and tax.
For the 50 cards on seehere is the new baby code expired too?
Just got mine – thanks Carrie!
If you get the Clutch book, card pack or calendar, shiping is free. You only have to pay shipping if you get the $25 gift credit. I made a calendar last night, and it worked great. I was charged nothing. I have never purchased any products from photoworks in the past so I hope the quality is good. Thanks for the heads up on the freebie!
Oh, make sure you write down the code because they don’t email it to you.
Newbaby code was due to expire on the 30th of Nov.
I did it a while ago this morning and got the $25 credit since I feel like I have done so many books already this year with all the free/cheap ones we have been getting! I think I am going to make a Christmas ornament for my daughters first Christmas! They come in right under $25 so I will only have to pay shipping and taxes (hopefully that won’t add up to so much that it’s not worth it!)
I didn’t receive a code either.
Thank you, Carrie! Both my daughter and I were able to get codes :-)
By the time I got there it was expired…bummer!
Thanks a lot Carrie … I got it earlier this morning and made one! Mary
Got the code this morning and so did my sister. thanks again, carrie, for helping us get gifts at a price we can actually afford!
Thanks so much . . . I just logged on this morning during a quick break at work and managed to whip together a book and didn’t pay a dime for the book or shipping. When I returned to show a coworked minutes later . . . it was expired! I just made it! Thanks again!
Sad to say that I was awake last night when Carrie posted this…usually asleep by 10:00..I signed up right away and chose the $25. There have been soooo many free offers that I wanted to be able to think on this one.
Thanks Carrie!
“Code is good through 12/31/09 so you need to hurry and claim one, but you have time to put your card, book or calendar together.”
This isn’t true. I hurried up and claimed it and selected the offer for the free 11×8 calendar. When I went to order it today I was too late. I chatted with support and they said the offer had expired because the 20,000 orders had already been placed and I hadn’t completed my project in time. Basically the 12/31 expiration date means nothing, and anyone could get the code, it was just only the first 20,000 who placed the order could actually use it. Deceptive advertising on their part! I am not happy that I wasted my time making the calendar, and their customer service was horrible!
