I added Dentek Dental Floss as another month-long Register Reward deal. That makes eight items free after Register Rewards. Wow!
If you are having trouble getting enough items in your transaction to use all the manufacturer coupons and Register Reward you have, then listen to this tip. Buy a number of very low cost filler items (last week it was pencils that were just pennies each) to beef up your item count since you cannot have more coupons and Register Reward than you have total items in your order.
If you are new to Walgreens’ loyalty program and earning Register Rewards, I explain in detail here. Learn to read this shopping list here. Mercedes helped get this list started and I added to it based on the best deals I found in the forums at A Full Cup.
Your turn: What is your low-cost filler this week? Maybe the $0.29 Hydrogen Peroxide?

Progresso Soup is on sale 4/$5.00. Buy three and use the $1.10/3 coupon from http://www.coupons.com (I think that’s where I found it anyway). That makes the total for 3 $2.65 or $0.88 each. For Progresso, it’s a really good deal.
I noticed that the Vaseline lotion is up to $7.99 now at the 3 Walgreens I frequent. Still a great deal if you’ve got the coupon, though!
Will the band-aid deal work since they are both store coupons?
This week they have a buy one get one free for the new Right Guard deodorant…combine that with the $1 coupon from their website, you only pay $.99 each.
Has anyone found the Walgreens coloring book here in the metro- specifically south of the metro? The Walgreens by my house in Eagan didn’t even know about the Walgreens children’s coloring book. Any suggestions?
went to wags yesterday—bought the rob. to go and the floss—no rr printed–when i asked them to check it, they said those ended in sept.—the rr for the diapers worked though—thank u so much for this site!!!!!
If you buy the pullups on sale at wags this wk—be sure to print Carrie’s coupons and the $2 off f/ the wags website—can double up and get 2 packs for $18-$4 mfr coups -$4 wags coups=$10, plus $4 RR! cheap enough!
The Vaseline Sheer infusions is up to $7.99 at my store in B Park, too, but I had a $1.50 internet coupon. So I still came out ahead. Got the Chapstick yesterday too…they were out the last time I was there. They have not had the 2 ct Robitussin to go any of the visits I have been there since the promotion started.
The Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion is 6.99 at the Elk River WG. I used the 1.50 coupon and recieved the r.r. so I made 1.50. I also asked about the coloring book and they said they didn’t have it. I would have used the coupon in the coloring book in combination with two 2 dollars off for the huggies, but 5 dollars per pack is a good deal for huggies. Love the website! I have already saved a ton of money in a few weeks!!
Alyssa: I was at the Inver Grove Heights Wags on South Robert & Mendota last night and they have the activity books. They are back in the toy aisle, near the end, with other clearance toys and books. That’s right, clearance! They came to 24 cents each and there were a bunch left after I bought 3 (one for me and two for my sisters), maybe 8-10?
HTH!
The Coon Rapids Wags didn’t have the kids activity book with the coupon…they said they discontinued it and haven’t had it for awhile :(
Oh, and they said the warehouse was out of the Rob to go 2 packs and didn’t know if they would get more in….bummer…it was a promo thing! Truck comes in at noon tomorrow (Thursday) and may have the razor, vaseline, and floss on it…show up mid afternoon to see if it is on the shelves.
