I know Cub takes expired coupons for 90 days past expiration,,, Does target take expired coupons as well? It doesnt say anything about this in there official coupon policy

Amy – Some Target stores in the Minneapolis area are accepting expired coupons. I have not seen anything officially documented/posted about it, but numerous Pocket Your Dollars readers are reporting it to be true. I’d call your local Target, ask for the Customer Service Manager and then ask to find out if your store is accepting them. Let use know what you find out.

Just wanted you to know about an unadvertised gift card deal I score yesterday.
Target has glade holiday products – both the small votive type candles, and the oil refills/holders for $2.50 each, and if you buy 5 you get a $5 GC.
I did the following deal (sorry I can’t remember exactly what coupon insert all of the coupons were in, but they were all paper coupons, not Internet ones:
1 oil holder
2 oil refills
2 votive type candles
Use 1.50 off any 2 glade candles
Use 2.00 off any 2 glade oil candles or refills
Use buy 1 holder get oil refill free (-2.50 in this case)
So I paid 12.50 – $6 and got everything for 6.50 and got the $5 GC (making the actual cost just 1.50 for all of these candles!) The holiday holders are glass and are really nice, and they’d make great small little holiday gifts!

New to this site! LOVE IT! Anyway – wanted to share a deal I scored last week at Target – so I don’t know if any other grocer’s have it. Clorox Green Works dish soap = $2.49 list price. There is a coupon HANGING off the bottle for $2.00. Final price = $0.49 for 22 fl oz of dish soap, that’s 2.2 cents per ounce! It was a new product for us, but it seems to be working great!
Just an FYi the B1G1F coupon for Birds Eye Steamfresh is located in the 10/18 Smartsource insert.

Apple Valley’s SuperTarget on Cedar accepts expired coupons. I have used them several times w/o a problem. I am also able to use “double coupons” on marked down meat. When there is marked down beef for “quick sale,” i.e., use that day or freeze, this Target lets me use that coupon PLUS any other Target coupon for $$ off beef. It is like using two Target coupons on one item, which they allow, because it is meat that they want to sell right away. Often times, this allows me to get beef for around $1 a pound!!! I always double-check w/ the meat dept man (Jaime), so if I get questioned in the check out line, just tell them “Jaime said it was allowed.”
Fleet Farm has the Playskool Musical Sit n Spin for $15.89 with the $10 off coupon that’s only $5.89, great christmas gift or to donate to charity!!

I think it depends on the cashier sometimes. I always get the ones that eye up the coupon like your trying to get away with something. And they always hand me back the expired ones. I shop at Apple Valley Target too, I have not been so lucky. But I will try again! Thanks.

What about the Vaseline Lotion deal? You can print the $1.50 off of the Sheer Infusion and there is also a $1 off in the 10/18 RedPlum….so you pay:
$4.49 for the Sheer Infusion + $4 for another Vaseline lotion and then get $5 gift card back…($1.75 each)

Walgreens has the Chex Mix on sale for 1.50 a bag as advertised in their flyer this week – and since Target price matches (I have had good luck with this) and there is a Target coupon 1/1 + newspaper coupon .50/1 that makes it free when you price match at Target (bring your Wags flyer)!

How does the price matching thing work at Target? Pay for the purchase first and then go to Customer service? And I’m assuming that I must bring the entire ad from the competitor to get the price match.
Jae – Yes, that is how price matching works at Target in my experience. You do have to have the entire ad, pay at the checkout lanes, and then price adjust at customer service. It’s a fairly smooth process as long as there is not a line at customer service. I did learn yesterday that they won’t match sales that are 2/$5. It has to be a single item with a single price. Bummer but now I know.
The Target in Maple Grove has regular sized bags of chex mix marked with a price cut for $1.20 a bag (at least they did last night). They are better than free when you stack the Target coupon with a Manf coupon.
Has anyone ever heard that Target doesn’t print duplicate receipts? I asked to have a duplicate one printed today because I need to send my original in for a rebate and the lady at customer service said they do not print duplicates?! I had one printed there just last week for a different rebate….anyone?

I got a good deal on Kashi cereal–they have two coupons attached to the boxes–they are on sale for $2.75 this week–the coupons are for $3/2 and $1/1–use both coupons and spend $.75/box–pretty good for Kashi cereal!
The only Campbell’s soups that are $.60 are the Tomato and Chicken Noodle. All others are higher priced but still on sale.

Got the sit and spin at Target last night-price matched from Mills Fleet. Only $5.98 so happy about PYD!!. Got two free Kashi cereal after $ 3 off coupons from the mailer I received. The total before coupons was $108 after it was $58 then $5 back from price match for $50 total. I had spent $25 on a shower gift and another purchase not with coupons. Anyways I had 68 items including the shower gift and toy. Paid less than $1 for all items !!! My husband was so happy. Got the nestle and wonka candy also 5 bads total. Lots of free items after coupons. Thank-you Carrie. This site means so much to me. My husband is laid off and does not receive any ue benefits anymore so it is all my income. This has really reduced my stress level and I am not dredding christmas anymore.
