Your turn: Did you get some free tickets?

I really hope I can still get tickets when we get to Target later this morning!
We went to Target at 8:30 as soon as I saw this and they were all gone already.
Too bad Mary. I just found out about this today, which is why I posted it so late. Target did this with Twins Season Opener tickets this past year too, so I’ll make a mental note to check before baseball and basketball seasons start next year to see if they have a similar promo.
All the Targets around me were out at 9 am this morning.
It was funny this morning. I stopped at Target on the way home from work for the free Chex mix and was about 20 minutes early (before opening). I saw all these people lining up at the other door, there was no one at the door I was waiting for. When I walked in the woman asked me if I was there for the Timberwolves tickets. I ask her what tickets and she said, “The 4 free tickets you can get for one of the games. But you don’t get your choice of games, the tickets are in an envelope.” I didn’t even know about it, but walked to the other end of the store and another woman handed me the tickets. Funny.
Carrie, I also got 3 bags of free Chex mix over the last 2 days. Thank you so very much for all the time and caring you share with us to help us add value to our dollars and make them stretch further. It is truly very nice of you to do this every day. I appreciate all you do and love seeing “Pocket Your Dollars” in my email box.
yup I missed it too — they went fast.
I won season tickets from a sign up at the state fair, the guy asked if I was a Timberwolves fan.. umm no, but we will be now! LOL
We got the last set of tickets at the Forest Lake Target. The man in front of my husband said that they have done this for at least the past 4 years, but they went a lot faster this year than in the past. Forest Lake’s was the 4th Target he had been to; the other three stores he visited were out already by 8:30am. My sister-in-law, who works at Target’s corporate office, didn’t even know they did this. :)
We heard about this on Kare 11 at 8:30 a.m. on the 24th and went to the Ridgedale Target and got tickets to the Celtics game. My dad went to the Medina Target at 9 a.m. and got tickets for the Nets. No tickets left for Cleveland though which were the best of the three.
