Download a free beta version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3. You can use this software to edit and manage digital photographs. If a “beta version” is new language to you, it means that this is like a final draft of the software before they launch it and sell it on the market. They offer this totally free download (no credit card required, no obligation) as a way to have users try it, test it, and if you have opinions about it you can let Adobe know. This trial version will work on your computer through April 30, 2010.

Darcie- There is a program similar to Photoshop called Gimp that is completely free, check it out at http://www.gimp.org/ It would be a huge moneysaver, Photoshop is quite expensive!

@Peter – thank you so much! I have been playing around with picnik from time to time – and just my own kodakgallery easyshare software I’ve had for eons – which seem to handle about all I have time for – but a girl can dream!
