  1. Laura says:

I have looked and looked but have never found a CRT scanner at the Maple Grove CVS. Granted, I’ve also had a baby with me that’s been very distracting, and I don’t quite know what I’m looking for, so maybe I’ve missed it. Anyone else found one there?

  2. Michelle W says:

CVS also has Mars Single candy bars BOGO free. If you use your free Mars Candy Bar coupons you recieved during the Chocolate Relief Fridays, you will actually get 2 for free with each coupon. I had been saving up my coupons for a BOGO sale like this.

  3. Jaime says:

Does anyone know if you can buy the Kid’s Boost drinks with this deal?

  4. SarahBB says:

Anyone see any Blistex coupons– on sale CVS and Cub this week. Thanks for any help!

  5. SarahBB says:

Carrie– Can we use these flu shot certificates when we have already used one– even though from a different link. The questions are the same– I tried to use 2 of the first quiz you linked us to– and it scanned as already used. What do you think?

    • Carrie Rocha says:

Sarah – From what I have read online the certificates each have a different bar code number at the bottom and therefore should all be redeemable, although not in the same transaction. Are you saying that the register wouldn’t take one in a subsequent transaction that you printed from a different link?

  6. Michelle W says:

    Laura,
After reading your post today, I double checked around CVS during my trip. My kids actually found the scanner at the Maple Grove CVS. It is in the main aisle towards the back of the store on the left side of the main aisle (on the side where the pharmacy is located). I lost my card, so I just use my phone number at the register. I wanted so badly to scan a card and see what might come out. I was impressed. It is also a price scanner, so that is good to know too.
I found a few awesome items at 90% off – baby formula & 3 ring binders.

  7. SarahBB says:

    Hi, carrie:

Thx for yr answer. No, it was the same link– 2 people took quiz– thought that would work, but not!

  8. Cindy says:

The Maple Grove store has two scanners, one where Michelle mentioned and another one towards the front of the store, in the aisle that has nuts, water, spices, etc. It’s handy to have two available since sometimes one is out of paper or broken down.

  9. Cindy says:

Also, the scanners in Maple Grove are mounted on posts at waist height (the bottom of the scanner is waist height), probably about 2 feet high and are blue/grey in color.

  10. Sarah says:

I finally found the scanner in the 24-hour CVS in Apple Valley – as you take the path from the Pharmacy back to the front of the store it is on your left. It has given me the $2/2 nuts coupon three times so far and the small bags of chocolate-covered nuts and fruit are really good :)

  11. Kim S. says:

I have a question regarding extra care bucks. If you take advantage of one of these deals where your spend x amount and get x ECB, do you get all of the money back at the end of the season or just 2%, like you do for your quarterly spending?

  12. Katy says:

My CVS (in Blaine) would not take the Revlon coupon to make the nail polish free, but .99 is still a good deal and my daughter loves to have new colors to pick from.

I also found the scanner-it looks like a price checker and I think that is what it is labeled as, but if you stand and watch the screen it does say to scan your extra care card-I got a coupon for toothpaste and my ECB for summer spending.

  13. Alison says:

I can’t get the Tone soap coupon to print and I made sure the “wg” was there as I was on firefox. I have an Apple laptop and I have already installed the coupon printer. Printer was on, hooked up, correct printer was selected, as I had just printed out a bunch of other coupons from other sites. Any other troubleshooting ideas?

  14. Tanya says:

I have not seen this talked about anywhere else, but there is a coupon in the 10/4 RP for $5 off Ester-C. It is on sale this week at CVS for Buy one, get one 50% off. At the CVS I went to, the lowest priced one was $8.59. If you bought two and used two coupons that would be $2.89 for both. Ester-C is a Vitamin C supplement.

  15. Abby Dabby says:

I am super excited to look for those scanners on my next visit to CVS. Thank you everyone for describing them!! I always thought it was a big machine like an ATM or something and was sad that I couldn’t ever find it. I will find them on my next visit though!!

After taking a break from CVS for a few weeks I’m off to a slow start. I spent $6 in ECB’s and earned $5, not too bad. The store in New Hope was out of the Tone soap when I went, and they wouldn’t take my $1 off Revlon coupon.

    Here’s how I did:

  16. Linda says:

I have looked and looked for the Reinventing Beauty Magazine in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
I have been unable to find it.
What stores in Minneapolis and St. Paul have them????
I tried the St. Paul stores Midway CVS and West St. Paul CVS.
In Mpls, I tried the CVS in Fridley on University Ave, CVS on Broadway N. Mpls, CVS New Hope and several other CVS stores. They say they dont carry this magazine.

  17. Cathie says:

I purchased $20+ j&j products but did not get ecb. It was all childrens Tylenol products

  18. Laura says:

@Michelle and Cindy – Better late than never, I guess, but thank you! I should have checked back earlier to see what people had to say about finding the scanners. I’ll have to look more carefully next time I go to the Maple Grove CVS.
