Vocalpoint Q’s came in my mail too– what awesome Kashi deals! Thx for letting me know about VP, Carrie!
Yeah thanks Carrie! I also got my Kashi coupons in the mail from VP on Saturday!!!!
What about the ‘Buy 1 Get 1′ on bags of halloween candy? Isn’t that a good deal or no?
The Andover CVS q spitter outter is halfway down the first candy aisle. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked past it and still had no idea it was there…ha! In their clearance section they have Colgate Total for 94 cents so with a coupon for $1 off it’s better than free!!
The Olay Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller (the one needed for the $20 rebate) is $18.99 at CVS, so you won’t be the $5 ECB by buying only that.
they were out of the carving tool already at 12:30 so the manager subbed for the more expensive carving set. i was happy. and my CVS finally got a coupon machine but all i got was $1 off gold emblem nuts. i did get a $2 off huggies wipes on my last trip and combined it with a 75 cents off. their regular price is $3.49 a 64 count tub. do people really pay that much for wipes? i got it for 74 cents.
I’ve been very confused shopping at CVS. I usually go on Saturday afternoons and my lists never match the sales. I finally figured it out. My CVS starts next week’s sale sometime on Saturday. So for example, when I went there yesterday afternoon prepared to buy the Revlon nail polish for $3.99 and get the $3.00 in EC bucks, they were BOGO. And the GIllette products were buy $15, get $5 EC – today’s ad!!! Anyone else have this issue or know when they convert to next week’s ad? This is the Delano CVS.
My CVS (Spring Lake Park/Mounds View) was also out of the carving tool; however they pretty much told me too bad! The cashier said that I could drive around to all the others to see if they have any left!! I am quite annoyed because it seems like every Sunday when I go in to get the advertised deals, they are out and I go in early afternoon at the latest on the SUNDAY. The cashier also said they don’t usually get very many of their sale merchandise-isn’t that a bit unethical? It’s SO frustrating!!!
Anyone else have that issue?
P.S. The Fridley CVS was also out.
I have heard that CVS stores that are open 24 hours start their next week’s ad after 6 pm on Saturday. The current ad is still applicable but I have noticed they take down the signs for it. If you have questions you can always ask. I have always had great customer service there. You can also get a rain check, I believe, if they are out of something.
I went at about 11:30 this morning and I had to ask for the pumpkin carving tool. They had them behind the counter. I asked for 2 (since that was the advertised limit) and she said that she had to limit me to one since they only had three left. I said okay, but found it odd. Why put “limit 2″ on the ad when they only will let you get one?
Where is the Maple Grove CVS located?
Question for Hilary on the Huggies wipes, which $2 off coupon are you refering to?
MB- I was at the the same store as you, I think. I was there around 1 PM.They had the carving tool out of sight behind the counter. I will call CVS in the morning to let them know of the problem. They do have the right to limit quanties but it seems silly to print two in the ad then short stock the stores. My understanding is the District manager orders the seasonal items. Usually I shop in Minneapolis and have rarely had any problems. I suggest you call CVS too. The number for customer service is on the back of your card.
I find CVS to be out of the sale items alot too, but I just get a raincheck and get the items in the future.
There is a new CVS opening this Thursday in Brooklyn Park! Right across the street from Rainbow, by where the Gold’s Gym and “old” TCF bank used to be. I’m hoping for maybe some good opening day sales or coupons in the mail.
I, too, have had many problems with CVS being out of advertised sales items on the Sunday I get the ad in the paper. In August when they had all the school supplies on sale, and you were to get the price back in ECB, I went right after church to both the New Hope one and the Brooklyn Center one. They were already out. I got rainchecks, but they were a 3 day sale and I was too busy that week to go back before the sale was over. I don’t think they order enough of some of their items. Walgreens used to also be this way, but I don’t have as many problems with them, as I do CVS, and Walg. doesn’t do the 3 day sales, and I actually am glad about that. I am hoping the B. Park CVS will do better with this issue than the B. Ctr one. It is also closer to me geographically.
Erika – I’ll call CVS today as well.
erin, the register printed me a $2 off at the bottom of my receipt for the wipes and i also got a $1.50 ECB for my summer savings.
I have looked and looked for the Reinventing Beauty Magazine in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
I have been unable to find it.
What stores in Minneapolis and St. Paul have them????
I tried the St. Paul stores Midway CVS and West St. Paul CVS.
In Mpls, I tried the CVS in Fridley on University Ave, CVS on Broadway N. Mpls, CVS New Hope and several other CVS stores. They say they dont carry this magazine.
Linda, I know I have gotten the Reinventing Beauty mag at the store on Maryland and Arcade. It is located on a rack by the display of new beauty products that is right at the front of the store and not with the other magazines.
I got my Olay Regenerist for $24.99 with $5 ECB, plus I got the Pantene there with a $1 coupon, so I could use my $5 off a $25 purchase. Patene is definitely higher (paid $4.99), but saved me a trip to another store. All in all….Free Olay Regenerist and made $1!!!
OK, who cleared out the Kashi Go Lean Crunch at the New Hope CVS? :o) They were sold out when I arrived. Don’t worry though, because I got a raincheck! LOL.
I didn’t really need any of the other deals this week so I just got eggs & milk for a total of $0.28. Here’s how I did:

BTW – I couldn’t find a scanner for coupons :(
