If you live near a Coborn’s store, you have every right to be excited. Now through the end of the year they are doubling the face value of coupons valued at $0.50 or less on Mondays. There is no minimum purchase required, but a limit of 10 coupons per day per person (I think that’s correct? 10 per day versus limit of 10 coupons per transaction?)
Every week I will open a post where you can share your deal ideas and coupon match-ups with one another. This week I have started a list for you. A dear reader, Gennifer, sent me her list of deals and I am very grateful for that. In future week’s this will be up earlier in the day on Sunday, but this week both my husband and I had birthdays and grandma’s gift to us was an overnight with our girls so we could enjoy a mini getaway; I enjoyed it, but got a late start this afternoon.

I saw on one of my Coborn’s receipts that they have orange juice for $.88 1/2 gallon on Sundays (limit 2) and Coke products $.88 for a 2-liter bottle (limit 2) on Fridays. I think on Thursdays they have bananas for $.48/lb (limit 2lbs). There were others for each day of the week but I can’t remember.
I just want to thank you for adding Coborns to dollarspocket
Thanks for adding Coborns to your site! I ran there this morning before I checked your site, but they had a big sign up and fortunately, I had my binder of coupons. Plus they also have a coupon book with recipes at the door and around the store. Deep discounts on many items including sour cream, wild rice, tomato sauce, french bread, etc. I spent $44 and saved over $25 in coupons. Probably would have saved more if I had known about the coupon deal. Will do much better next week.
They have their Morton’s Rust Remover Salt on sale for 3/$12.99. I printed off coupons for $1/2 at coupons.com, so the total price per bag would be $3.83…I’m thinking that’s a good deal, is it not?
I happened to stop in at Coborn’s while shopping for someone else and found they have their Pecan Honey Bunches of Oats on sale for $2…pair that with a $2 off coupon and they are FREE! It totally made my day! :)
