Update: Although this specific offer is expired I am re-posting this today because some of you have emailed me saying that you have yet to receive your rebate check. I plan to call Bushnell on behalf of Pocket Your Dollars readers to inquire about the status of this rebate. I’d like your help in doing that. Can you please leave a comment, if you mailed in for a rebate, letting me know whether you have or have not yet received a check and details of any inquiry you have made to Bushnell. Hold on to your hats, this is a good deal. Lynn at Maven of Savin’ informed me that after a $50 rebate you can get a Bushnell Weather Forecaster absolutely free. The Forecaster has been marked down from $99 to $50 at Walmart (look in the hardware aisle). According to the rebate form you can buy up to three, complete the rebate form here and submit for a $50 rebate. You have to make your purchase before August 15 to qualify.
Lynn also informed me that Bushnell seems to stand behind their rebates, going so far as issuing this statement when their previous rebate processor went bankrupt last year. All that to say, this seems like a totally legit offer and a great way to score some free Christmas presents.
Your turn: How do you organize yourself so that you submit the required paperwork on rebate qualifying products? For me, I separate receipts for rebate qualifying products in my wallet, then when I balance my checkbook I pull out the receipt, fill out the form and address the envelope right then and mail it along with any other bills I have to pay. How about you?

Thanx for the tip about these today! I picked up 3 at the St. Anthony Walmart. The rebate says 3 per household. Will make some great Christmas gifts!! :)

sent my rebate form on 7/29. according to the web-reates.com address listed on the rebate form, my rebate check has been approved and the mail date is pending. the rebate form says to allow 6-8 weeks for processing.
I sent a rebate for three of the weather forecasters and the web-rebates.com website reflects that the check has been approved and the mail date is pending. Please note that I received an email from Bushnell on 8/18/09 that indicated it would take 6 – 8 weeks for delivery.

I received an email updating me weeks ago – my status is still pending mail date for the check. I can’t believe a company and reputable as Bushnell would not honor their rebates. But it does say 6-8 weeks. Thank you for checking.
I sent my rebate in on/around July 25th. I haven’t heard a word from them. I haven’t checked their website yet though.
Check the status online with the tracking # from the email you received. Today mine showed the check has been processed & awaiting being mailed. I personally am not concerned, but anxious to get my $100 for the two I purchased :)

I mailed my rebate form on 8/6 and have received an e-mail that my rebate was being processed. I must say that we love this forecaster, but I will love it a little more when the rebate check arrives! I mailed a $10 Kellogg’s Fuel for School rebate on the same day and that has not arrived either. I seem to have the best luck with Staples rebates.
I actually received a postcard from Bushnell a couple weeks ago stating that I needed to provide the original UPC code from the packaging. Needless to say I was a little upset as I didn’t have the original UPC anymore — only a copy of it as I had sent it in for the rebate. I called and the service rep informed me that she wasn’t sure why I got such a notice as my record showed everthing was in line and that she was going to put it through for processing. She informed me it may take 8 weeks. At this point I say have about 5 weeks to wait.
I received an e-mail from Bushnell on the 13th of Aug. At this point my check is approved, and the mailing is pending. My husband is eagerly looking forward to getting his $150 back!!!! (So am I.)
If you go to Web-Rebates, you can see if your rebate is accepted and what is happening with it. I just looked today, and mine is ready to be mailed out.
I sent for my $50 rebate on the last day, nothing yet, but have not made any inquiries.
I just got an email from Bushnell stating that my check was mailed today – and that I should receive it in 2-3 weeks. I checked the website and my status has been updated that it was mailed. So let’s hope they are on their way via pony express.
