walgreens

Use this $5 off $25 purchase at Walgreens coupon this Tuesday and Wednesday (9/29 and 9/30) to sweeten this week’s deals.  The fine print on the coupon says that $25 must be reached after all manufacturer-issued and Walgreens-issued coupons.  Register Rewards are considered manufacturer-issued coupons, so any payment you make with those must be before you use this $5 off coupon.

This deal scenario requires you spend $20+ out of pocket, but after Register Rewards are figured in you’ll earn $7+.

No prints left for the theraflu.

  2. Sarah Beth says:

The Vasilene coupon in the 08/02 RP insert says “expires 09/27″
The printable did not work for me either because it said I had already printed? If this was the same link for the Vasilene with Aloe then perhaps I did.

  3. Jen says:

I am going to do: (if they still have the Healthy savings books in the stores)

    3 Thera Flu $12 – use $2 Healthy Savings Coupons = $6
    Vaseline Sheer Infusion Lotion =$6.99 – $1.50 printable = $5.49
    Gillette MVP Ravor $8.99 – $4 coupon P/G 9/27 = $4.99
    Halls Refresh $1 – .75 coupon 9/27 insert = $.25
    Emergen – C $3.49
    Robitussin $2.49
    Chapstick Fresh Effects $2.99

    Total = $25.70 – $5/25 coupon = $20.70 before tax

    Get back $31 in RR’s.

  4. Sarah Beth says:

Thanks to this coupon and the great RR deals, last night I spent $21.56 and got $21.50 back in RR!!! Tempted to go to another store today for even more deals!

  5. Lindsay says:

AHH…I could just kick myself. I went to Walgreens to do the $5/$25 deal and surprisingly they had everything on my list. After I got home, I noticed the small little TheraFlu coupon stuck in the bottom of my coupon envelope. Has anyone had any luck going back and them accepting the coupon for the previous purchase? I hate to go over there just to find out I’m out of luck!

Also, I was going through ALL of my RRs I think I am missing a RR. I’m now trying to figure out which one exactly it is that I’m missing.

I think it’s going to take me a while to get used to shopping at WAGS. The customer service has been excellent, but I get confused with all the RRs and sometimes it’s hard to find things in the store.

  6. Kathy says:

A few things I learned this week doing “intense” shopping at Walgreens:
    1. Along with the sales flyer, bring a list of what you plan to buy and the coupon you’ll use AND the register rewards you expect to receive. I didn’t do this and today had to go back and request 2 – $6.00 RR. Next time, I’ll check the RR slips before I leave the store. They did believe me and refunded it to my bank account. Which leads me to:

    2. I thought that with a whole fist full of RR I’d be able to apply them all to an expensive package of Sonicare replacement toothbrush heads. Nope, they have a 2 coupon limit per item, which I now remember Carrie explaining. So starting next week, I’ll match up the appropriate RR to sale items and hopefully a manufacturer coupon too. That leads me to:

    3. Shop at Walgreen’s early. The Assistant Manager told me today that they rarely receive enough stock to cover the demand for ads in the flyer. And, they won’t get the stock they need for a month.

By using Carrie’s suggestions, being diligent and willing to ask that they honor what they advertise, we can stretch our families’ budgets and even have enough to share with others. (The items I went back to get the RR for, I’ll be giving to our local food shelf for Christmas giving.)

  7. Michelle W says:

If you buy 3 Theraflu products @ $4 each in one transaction, you will get $8 in RR. If you use the healthy savings book coupon for $2 off each bottle, you will make $2 on the deal!

  8. Lindsay says:

I have to put in a plug in for the Walgreen’s in New Hope on Winnetka. Wonderful customer service! In response to my earlier post, I went back and they were so understanding. Gave me the credit for the coupon on the TheraFlu that I had forgotten to use. They also helped me out with the RR that I was missing.

  9. Jen says:

Went to the Walgreens in Burnsville last night to burn some RR’s since I had so many – thought I would buy some items that I didn’t have coupons for – got myself two books which is a treat since I usually only go to the library and now I don’t have to read on a time frame, plus got my boyfriend some tire cleaner and car spa towels – they were on clearence and he was so excited. He thought the towels were really high quality. I had to laugh – he asked “if you have any more extra ECB’s (he gets the stores confused!) – can you get me another set of the car spa towels?” I love that I can excite him over $1.99 clearence towels!

  10. Julian says:

    Hello,

If they are out of stock for an item that can generate RR, can I ask for rain check? I really want to get the dental floss and already printed the coupon but can’t find any walgreens near by that has in on stock..

    thanks,
    Julian
