I went to target today and they have changed the coupon rules on us. if the coupon doesn’t scan through they can not make it go by manually typing it in. i could not use the $3 off 3 on the johnson’s buddies or the $1 off tide on tide sample and the $1 off all on the all sample. I also could not use the coupon on the Skintimate Shave Gel they said coupon doesn’t match with it. I was really upset i thought i was going to get some real good deals only to have to stand in line for ever while they took every thing off that didn’t work. I was so upset. I go there alot and use coupons and this was the first time they done this to me. they have new signs up on this by the check out lines. has any one else had problems like this?

Christina – All coupons, but especially the Target-issued ones are distributed to select and specific markets. Sounds like your area didn’t get them. Maybe a reason to move to Minnesota? :)

Hello, I am looking for the $2.50/1 Target coupon for Shout from the 8/30SS insert. I am unable to find any Target coupons besides a razor coupon for any 8/30 ads. Does anyone know if maybe they just didn’t put those coupons in Florida’s paper?

The $3/3 Johnson products coupon IS specific – but my Target had no problem using it on buddy bars of soap. So I got all 3 for free. She just scanned the coupon and it took $3 off my order (even though the total price for all 3 items isn’t even $3 – they are .97 each). At my Target (Apple Valley off Pilot Knob) the buddy bars are not with the other Johnson baby products, they are down the aisle aways. They are in a BRIGHT orange box. Around them are other buddy products also in bright colored boxes. It took me awhile, but I found them.

Pricing Concerns – twice in the last week I’ve caught Target listing one price, but ringing up another. For instance, they have Hamburger Helper on sale for $1.25, but it rang up $1.52! Then there were some Crayola Kids’ Paint on sale for 77 cents, but that rang up as $2.68. Thankfully I noticed it, and they were able to do a price check. I am now concerned that they are doing this often … has anyone else had trouble? Twice in one week seems too much, and now I’m wondering how many price discrepancies I may have missed.

The DVD coupon is $2 off a regular DVD or $3 off Blu-Ray. The $2 coupon is still a good deal if you shop the bargain section. I was able to get The Karate Kid, Air Force One, and Mona Lisa Smile for about $2.75 each (they were on sale the week I shopped this deal).

The $3/3 Johnson’s coupon that is linked is very specific on what items it can be used for, and there are no Buddies products listed. I’m confused. Anyone?

Thanks Carrie and Bernice! I am heading to Walmart to see what I can find. Oh and Carrie, thanks for the tip on the market pantry cheese coupons, I got a bunch of string cheese for free and I eat like one a day! The Target brand was especially good too. I’ve saved so much $$$ in the last 2 months since I found your site!

School supplies at my Target hit 75%. The backpacks were still 50%.

In the baby area, typically on the top shelf, there are small bars of Johnson baby soap in a pink or white wrapper, typically less than 25¢ each after coupon. They go fast when there is a $1/1 coupon, often out of stock.

The Buddies bars are soap bars wrapped in a “cloth”, they come in an orange/ yellow box with cutsey graphics on the front.

Linda – I usually get the individual Buddies bar of soap. They are usually on the bottom shelf in the most out of the way corner in the baby bath/lotion aisle. If your Target doesn’t have them, know that I have found them at Walmart too. Good luck!
