In the Twin Cities it sounds like just the West Saint Paul store is doubling coupons this week. According to the comments on this post readers are having mixed results getting great deals. I’ve done two things to help.
I have been reading online that “buy one, get one free” coupons are doubling to yield two freebies. I don’t know whether that is happening here in the Twin Cities, but just in case I’ve rounded up some printable ”buy one, get one free” coupons for you to bring along:

I just called the White Bear Lake, Oakdale, St. Paul and West St. Paul Kmart’s and they are not participating in the Super doubles.
Didn’t I see a post that someone had been able to do super doubles in West St. Paul?
I did them at West St Paul today around 2 pm. As I was going thru the line a girl walked by talking to another employee and she said they are no longer doing doubles. I then asked my cashier if they were doing doubles as she was halfway thru ringing up my items and she said they will if they are still in the system. They have also taken down the signs advertising it. It looks like all of my coupons up to $2 and B1G1 up to $2 rang up double. I even had more than 10 coupons that doubled (I think 12 or 13) as I did not expect the additional ones would double and I’d just get some B1G1….original total was about $75 prior to coupons and that includes an $8 game (no coupon) and and my total was $20 and some change. I was pretty happy with my purchases.
One thing I noticed about the store…it seemed the few other shoppers I encountered all had their coupons out like me. :) Must all be Pocket Your Dollar readers. Otherwise the store was pretty much a ghost town.
Thank you so much for posting this. I’m in Frederick MD and called around to the area Kmart’s and found that the one in Gaithersburg is doubling the coupons. So I spent the evening cutting coupons from all of my coupon books that I have been saving for a few months. Can’t wait to try it out tomorrow or Friday.
I may do a test on a few items then go back in for more.
Does anybody know if the west st paul Kmart is still doubling, or not? I was going to go tomorrow, but I don’t want to waste a trip. Thank you!!
I was at the WSP kmart yesterday afternoon. Even though I did not see any signs showing the store is doubling, all my coupons did double during check-out.
Thanks for posting about the doubles event. I never even check anymore if the Kmarts around here are participating since it always seems they aren’t. I went to the WSP Kmart and asked the cashier before I started shopping how many coupons was I allowed to double and he said 75! I got lots of good freebies – and lots of items for low prices. Probably most excited was I got 10 12pks of Mt. Dew & Diet Dew for $10 – I wish we didn’t drink so much soda but since we do – it was nice to get it so cheaply. Used my discover coupons and they doubled. Now I know why people get so excited for Kmart doubles – I got a ton of stuff I will use for really cheap and was able to do it all in one trip which makes it that much better. Thanks for posting!!!
