Folks all over the internet are talking about a double coupon event happening at select Kmart locations this week. The sure fire way to know if Kmart stores in your area are participating in this week’s Super Doubles event is to check their ad here. I just perused the Minneapolis ad, which is where I live, and see no reference to this event. If Kmart’s near you are participating you’d see some sort of reference to “Super Doubles” in one of the circulars. You can always call a Kmart near you to double check as well.
“Super Doubles” means that Kmart is doubling the face value of coupons that are worth $2 or less, making them worth up to $4. Other rules apply and participating areas will have all the fine print in the circular.
Your turn: Is your local store participating?

I checked with the Monticello location and they are not doubling their coupons.
west saint paul on robert st is participating and its about a 15 minute drive for me. i made my list and am taking my grandma to get 20 coupond doubled.
Just back from the West St Paul Target, where they ARE doubling! Up to 10 coupons per “day” (not sure if that really means per transaction or what), up to $2 in value. Got some pretty good deals, but I was all prepped and so many of the deals I had figured out weren’t really great deals after all- Kmart’s regular prices are SO much higher overall.
Decent deals include Special K (had a few $1/1 coupons doubled, and the boxes of cereal are on sale for $2.50, and then if you buy 5 you get $5 instantly off your order. If you haven’t done the Kellogg’s rebate the cereals qualify, too, so I bet some good deals can be had), Tide stain release booster ($1/1 coupon in a SS machine on the shelf, plus any Tide Stain Release purchase instantly takes $2 off your whole bill. It’s $6.99 to begin with), Pert Plus (had a $2/1 coupon, got an extra-big bottle for $4.99, so 99 cents), Glade glass scented oil holder (was free after my $2/1 coupon).
HTH! Oh, and also, my ad said nothing about doubling, but I called the store first.
I called both the Blaine and Anoka Kmarts and they are NOT participating. Bummer..
Cath do you mean the West St. Paul K-mart? If not, when did Target’s start doubling coupons?
Duh, I’m such an airhead. Yes, the WSP KMART! I must have been high from all my deals!
Cath-
Did you have to say anything to the cashier or anything to get them to double? I just called the WSP store to confirm and the gal who answered told me they were not participating. Was it all coupons and not just the P & G products? It is not too far from me but I don’t normally shop there and would be only going for the doubles.
I didn’t mention the double coupons to the cashiers, but they both mentioned them to me!
I would like to say I can’t believe they told you they weren’t participating on the phone, but I can believe it- generally speaking I’ve not had the greatest luck overall with Kmart service. In fact, the 2 transactions I did yesterday with double coupons were probably my fastest and smoothest I’ve experienced there in months!
It was all coupons, limit 10 per person per day and up to $2 in value. I used all sorts of coupons – Cambell’s, Kellogg’s, Dove (deodorant), Scott tissue, Puffs tissues, Gen Mills, etc. and they all went through and were doubled automatically by the register.
No Kmart double here. Closest Kmart is about 45 minutes away, and they do not double.
i went to the west saint paul location today and they had signs on all the registers about the doubling. it was like a ghost town in there. i guess people rather explore the jungle they call wal-mart. i enjoyed my trip and chose to not buy of my coupons because of their regular price wasnt that great to make the deal worth it. my regular price before coupons was 56.20 and after doubles my total was 15.44 so that was great! i brought my grandma and husband so we could do 3 transactions.
i think i am couponed out for awhile!
Do you know if the west st paul kmart accepts internet printed coupons?
Thanks
I was at the WSP Kmart this morning, they did take internet printed coupons. It was a ghost town in there when I was there too, I’m not sure I will repeat the visit, their normal prices are so high that even with the dbling many things were not a good deal. If you go be extra vigilant, the tags on the shelf do not always match the items, for example it said oxyclean 2/$6 for 21 oz and they had 24oz in that spot(21 oz not an option). They were out of many items as well. At the checkout, it wouldn’t take the Tide coupon I was using, they voided the order and rerang everything, had to go to the customer service to get the oxiclean straighened out. Just took so much time to find items that would work, hope you have a better experience. Enjoyed a Dunn Bros, coffee afterwards!! Some stores will let you apply $2 toward a drink, if you don’t want the plain coffee.
I just called the Saint Paul Kmart near Maryland and 35E, was informed they are not participating.
Kmart at 3201 White Bear Ave, White Bear Lake is not doubling coupons. Bummer, usually they do!
I just to the manager at Kmart in West St. Paul, she insists that they are not doubling and that they haven’t at all this week. I was feeling a bit fiesty, so I told her that was very interesting..because they had signs in their store this weekend.
I truly think that Sears is only keeping Kmart as a loss…I’ve seldom had a positive experience there. I’d love to be a shopper at their WBL store…but customer service is important to me.
